This game is the coolest game ever. I've never got tired of playin the game. The graphics are so awesome i couldnt even believe it. I bought this game when i bought my Xbox beacause i read all the Reviews on it. The multiplayer is just way way way to awesome. If you have this game and have never linked it up with another Xbox and played 4 on 4 or a Free For All then you dont know what you are missing man it is the funnest thing ever! Me and my other 7 friends started playin at like 1:00 PM and did stop till 6:00 AM. I recommend this game to anyone!

Halo is by far the best game ever, for the best system, Xbox, or for any other system. It completely blows any Play station games out of the water with its amazing graphics, story, multiplayer, weapons, etc. If anyone gave this game less that an eight then I'd like to know what kind of glue you've been sniffing. Halo rocks because of its amazing graphics, its awesome gameplay, and because you have never discovered every thing.
One reason that Halo is the best is because of its exquisite graphics. Can you think of another game where you can look down and actually see real detailed grass? Halo has such good detailed graphics that that you can look at other people's guns and see little numbers and stuff. The texture on the characters and scenery are so detailed and realistic that it's like you're playing TV. That and many more things is why Halo's graphics rock.
Another reason that Halo is far beyond ordinary is because of the spectacular gameplay. It is safe to say that no other game has AI players smart enough to duck behind a corner to charge their shield. Or levels big enough to get lost in. Also there are a lot of dare I say, glitches that actually enhance gameplay. Or maybe it is just that the designers felt like making it so you can get to special places at Gulch and Side Winder. Or that you can get the warthog to those unnamed places at Side Winder. Halo sets no boundaries to what you can do. Invisible are practically unexistent and ther is nothing stopping you from getting all the vehicles on top of the base at Gulch. That is just another reason why Halo and Xbox rank Superior.
Yet one more of the many reasons that Halo is tops is that you'll will probably never run out of new things to do and discover. There are lots of things that you can discover new. You can beat the game on four different difficulty levels and the experience will be different every time. Just when you think you have done all there is to do , you discover how to get the Wart hog on top of the world at side winder. That is one more reason Halo cannot be beat.
In conclusion, Halo is like no other because of its excellent graphics, fabulous gameplay, and so many things to discover.
Boy do I feel like a nerd because I just wrote a 5 paragraph essay for no reason. Even my language teacher will probable be scared.

halo is the best game ever made.the best graghics ive ever seen.the plot is so thought out. it was challenging at some parts but at some parts it was scary like when the hunters come out after you unexpectitly .or when u get to drive a tank.in other games you still get to drive tanks but none of them were so realilistic and they didnt let anymore that 2 people on them.the banshees were the best.you could drive them in the air!

Halo is the best game that i have EVER played. Halo two is going to going to be sweeter though. In Halo, you are crash landed on an alien world and you need to fight them off in order to survive. It has four difficulties: Easy which is well, easy.Normal a little harder but still simple.Heroic pretty hard but still not impossible Legendary VERY HARD I suggest you not start on this one i have beaten the game on: Easy: Are there numbers this high? Normal: once Heroic: none
Legendary: THREE TIMES I would say that on Legendary, Two Betrayals is the hardest, right before Truth and Reconciliation.
It is a really good game and except for the mild language I would say that it is perfect. The multiplayer is VERY fun. With up to 16 players all playing at once, it can become kaotic. The best setting is Capture The Flag! If you have two teams of 8 and vehicles in Blood Gulch or Sidewinder, storm the enemy base with tanks, warthogs, and ghosts, it can get really fun. The multiplayer is worth buying the game for!!!! PERIOD

If you are thinking about getting an XBOX, i would do so for this game, its one of the best games i have ever played, it looks like doom and all the rest of the shoot'em up games, but boy it knocks all the others out of the water. Great Graphics, great sound, gameplay is off the charts and you can keep yourself on this game for hours on end!!!!
I would just get an XBOX for this game its that bloody good. Multi-player is even better battling your mates or use them to your advantage against the aliens, top game and i rate it right at the top with all the other greats out there.......

Halo was definetly a revolutionary game, in the past games would often either have good graphics or good amge play, or a good plot, halo on the other hand had all three. the graphics are tremedous and in the new halo 2 release it will deffinetly top all other games, sure grand turismo had good graphics (but there arent crashes and the game play sux) the game play in halo was great, it didnt make you feel like ur hovering like in the new bond games. and it wasnt absurdly to fast like in unreal championship. the ai was inteligent i'd hafta say, they get behind you and pinser you and they attack and run away depending on their life and yours. and the impact when you shoot an enemy was great. in bond and just about every other 1st person shooter i've played they flinch....or twitch or something lame, but in halo the recoil and reel from the effects of a pistole shot to the gut was more realistic and interesting. halo also had the advantage of sound effects, no other game came close to the effects and music. also they had enough comic releafe to keep the game interesting, grunts are the funnest thing in the beggining to run around, chase, and planely beat the snot out of. later on in the game would realize that they are very powerfull, you get a couple of grunts and an elite and youd go after the elite, meanwhile the grunts shoot da $#< remove me > at ! outa you. There is no other game in the would that allows you the freedom halo does. you can go anywhere anytime, they may be a large hill where you cant get over it...so what?! get something to get you up there. me and my freind spent countless hours finding the most uselles things in the game. like when we spent about 3 hours to flip a tank and kill the pilot to discover we couldnt get in it, DAMNIT! and we spent three hours getting up on a ledge only to say HA! we got up here wat now! and jumped off to continued forward. oh yes, one more thing. grand theft auto sux so stfu it isnt that great, people rant about how great it was, 3 was better than vice city b/c when you got done in vice you well...were...done there wasnt anything else to do then. back to halo, the gun selection was very limited and yet seemed like there were countless weapons at your disposal, that was the first game to me that was like that. there was only seven and they all had unique purposes that effected your dessisions in battle

Halo is a serious game where u have to use your brain.It's fast and has the best guns and all of it looks real.I have played all the levels on easy,normal,heroic, and finishing legendary with my dad.With saround system it,s unbelivable.it is expensive at first but it is all worth it.The setting is very good and all of it is.

now i havn't got halo. (i aint even got an x box!) but i still know what a great game it is. my mate rang me one day and said "luke, i got a dead scary alien game, come and have a look!" so i did. i was instantly hooked. we've completed it on multiplayer on every difficulty. some levels are a bit scary, (but that only adds to the atmosphere.) the music is great and it is so realistic how the marines talk and all have different accents. shooting aliens in a dark tunnel while little brain things (the flood) jump at you. the only non realistic thing is you are able to drive underwater. (weird.)the guns rule although there could be more variety and the aliens look a bit like toys but apart from that this is truly a game to be proud of.

When i first played Halo I couldn't stop playing it! the graphics and game play, not to mention the story line made me explode with exitement. it really is better than any game i have played. even better than splinter cell, ghost recon, half life, and any other game i can think of. i cant wait until halo 2 comes out! i will get it the second it comes out and play it all day and night until i beat it. i thought how could something get even better than halo?...well, its obvious...HALO 2!!! i am so exited and also very good on halo...my uncle is also a bata tester on halo 2 (a bata tester is a person that playes a game to check for bugs)..halo is so good i could almost cry!!!!! some day i might be a creator of halo 3 or even halo 4!!

Multiplayer I love it. It takes little time to learn but along time to master.
I like the 1 player because it is fun to just sit back and kill a few grunts and maybe the odd flood (with a shotgun).
The only thing I don't like is the library causes its so long and it repeats over and over again, jump on the platform thing, ohhhh same thing over and over... it has 4 different stories in 1 level of the same thing.

I proboaly needed a halo "headbrace" when I played halo! This game rocks! the "other ones" that don't like this game should go to h*ll, this game has it all, you have a whole array of selections of weapons and vehicles to choose from, and, I can't wait for halo2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i had never been much of an xbox fan untill halo. it opened my eyes. when i started playing, the controls confused me( im an adventure style gamer)but when i got the hang of them i realized that they could not have been improved. gunning down the covenant and flood is a cakewalk thanks to the great control. the graphics are nice too, but there are many glitches. master cheif seems to glide across the ground and looks pixelated. through all the action there is no slowdown, which is good, it would make this a very hard game. i must admit it was a bit short though, i wanted more by the end. there werent enough different enemies, which made it get somwhat repetitive. overall though, it was a good game, mosly nice graphics, like the environments,it controls great. it is still a long ways off of being as good as metroid prime though, if bungie can work out the kinks and update the graphics, they may be somewhat close to even being comparable to zelda or metroid in halo2

Before Halo I thought the Xbox had a pointless existence, until my friend let me play it on his Xbox. I was amazed. I never thought a FPS like this could surpass Goldneye(N64). As I played the story kept getting more dramatic and realistic. The graphics may be dated, but those dont matter anymore. The challenge is incredible and equals that of Metroid Prime. The multiplayer is the best I've seen. when someone else kills you you dont get mad, you get glad! Seriously getting killed is the funniest thing ever. Ive had some hilarious experiences in multiplayer. Since I dont own an Xbox I was excited to hear that Halo was coming to PC. Cant wait to play Halo 2. Sorry this is shorter than my other reviews, but theres not much more to say when a game is this good.

i started playing halo at my friends house a couple months after it came out.. it started out by blowing my mind.. the graphics, the gameplay, and the storyline is probably the best every written. the best part is that it can give you a sense of feeling that something like this could actually happen in the future because its so real. its so original that other companies try to copy it. try red faction for ps2. they make the controls just like halo. when im pissed off or stressed out, ill juss play halo, taking my anger out on the convenant. and it would relax me. its like drugs except for the messin up ur body part. the a lot of people who own a ps2 say that xbox has only one good game on it which was halo. in the beginning, i thought so too, until i bought my own xbox and it opened up wonders to my life.xbox has its own hardisk unlike ps2 which u have to purchase a memory card. u can put ur own soundtrack on it and have a custom soundtrack for ur games. ps2 has wut? nothing there are basically exactly the same games for xbox as ps2 so i dont know y people complain. and everybody says that xbox games are more expensive. WAKE UP! most new ps2 and xbox games are 50 bucks. there is no way that they are more expensive on a count of when it is a platinum hit, its 20 bucks like the ps2 ones. xbox also has 4 controller slots so more people can play meaning more entertainment. for ps2, u have to purchase a seperate multitap juss so 2 more people can play. a lot of people also complain about the xbox controllers and that their too big. i think its just an excuse that they are very simple and cant operate the controller. the ps2 ones are so small and easy to use that a baby could use them. the xbox controllers are meant for more experienced and hardcore gamers and not people who hate them cause they cant find all the buttons. the only regret i probably have toward xbox is that they made smaller controllers.

It was the first day i got the game i realized i dont need 2 buy another one. Vehicles, Strategy, Guns, Blood, Aliens, and even multiplayer. The best part of this game thought is trying to find all gliches (there's no end to 'em) By far blowing up everything you see, or just testing your aim on ethernet connected 4 xboxes with 16 people on them. killing 14 people on a 50 kill deathmatch is pretty sweet. I gave Halo a 10 outa 10 because... well if u play the game u will understand to.

i think halo is the best game ever made for any system.i meen nothing can compare 2 it. when i first played halo i didnt know what the hell i was doin. but now after iv had it for almost 3 years im the best at it. its like when ever me and my freands play i tell them to all gang up on me. its kinda funny bcause say if ther in a tank "scorpian" ill still kill em.. but i dont meen to bragg so sorry if i did. halo is just a really fun game. it is the best ive ever played. later

When it comes to Halo, like it says on the title, there is NOTHING BETTER! I don't care what anyone says. The graphics are some of the greatest on any console and set the bar very high for the rest of the Xbox games. I first played halo at my friends. We were playing the level Halo on co-op. I had the controls memorized within the first 15 minutes. The controls are perfect. If you don't like them, just switch them around on the Edit Profiles screen. I liked the guns a lot. I would have liked it a little more if you could use the Hunter gun (fuel rod cannon), but I can't take a star away for that. I think that it was good that you had to choose only 2 weapons to carry. If you could carry all the weapons at once, the game would be too easy. The banshee in multiplayer might have been nice, but if they had that then the only way to stop it would be if the driver was dumb enough to come down to the ground. Which brings me to my next point, vehicles. They are great. It's just that simple. I wouldn't want to drive a Wraith even if I could. Sure, they have great armor, but you have to wait like 5 seconds between each plasma blast. And they're really slow. I think that the people at Bungie also chose the perfect music and sound effects. I love hearing the Grunts scream after you kill their Elite escort. AI is smart enough to be somewhat hard. Once you figure out how each of the aliens act, you can kill them quite easily, if your'e going one on one. I especially enjoyed killing the flood and watching little chunks of their bodies fly around. I would always confuse those body parts for frag grenades. It drove me crazy but I figured it out after my first couple of times against the flood. Halo definitely deserves a 10 in my eyes, and anyone who say it deserves less than an eight can go back to their beloved PS2!

When XBOX first came out I thought PS2 was going to blow them out of the water.Then I played HALO at my friends house and let me tell ya if there is a game with better multiplayer than HALO then please tell me about it.If you have not played it yet then you don't know what missing.I mean the garphics, the sound ,the multiplayer,I can go on and on.The day after I got my own XBOX. If you don't even have an XBOX then go buy it now because HALO alone is worth it.And if ya do then hook it up to a kickin surround sound system.
