Okay, first off, the graphics are incredible. You can actually see individual blades of grass. or the instructions on packs of ammo. The A.I. is awesome, especially in legendary. like if you go far off and watch through a sniper rifle, the covenent do things like go to sleep, crawl around, and patrol, and when you attack, they don't just sit there waiting to die, they fight back. and its not like goldeneye, where the guys have bad aim and no health, you gotta unload like three clips of an assault rifle into an elite, and the whole time he could be kicking your ass. Gameplay is awesome, with interactive environments and everything. you blow a gun turret off a bridge, it's down there when you get to the bottom of a level. It has the perfect number of guns, different species and races of enemy, awesome vehicles, and the chance to steal enemy ships. and the movies are awesome. The storyline is really imaginative, and you get sucked into it real fast. plus the fact that you can whack things with your gun. GET THIS GAME!

When i first started to play i had a problem with the controls. but i got the hang of it. the cool thing that i like was being able to blow up the bodies over and over again. the warthog is a really good thing to your killing. i gave it 10 because it was fun playing with a friend watching back and he had my back. the coop was a good thing to and so the people that made the rule.

When I first bought my Xbox, the salesperson told me to buy Halo, "this game is one of the best if not the best out of all consoles," were his words. Since I'm a big wrestling fan, I bought Raw, After seeing how boring Raw was, I decided to rent some games. Now since I'm not a big fan of space games, battling aliens, and so on. I decided to rent Max Payne. That's a pretty good game, But it was kind of easy. So i decided to give Halo a try, and WOW!!! that game just blew me away. When I bought my Xbox and only played Raw, I thought "Gee, I should of bought a PS2." But one game and only one game made me think differently.
I've already beat Halo (in easy mode LOL) but it made me actually want to try the harder modes. Like I said, Halo is the Drug and I'm the addict. The Game is just pure Dopeness!!!

Halo is the BEST!! game that I've played.If you thought James Bond and Rainbow 6 are better, then go to hell!,because this game has the best graphics,Great weapon selection, a whole bunch of aliens to kill, and the price is only $59.99 canadian!!!
So if your looking for a high quility blood bath!, Buy Halo with your X Box, and you will think twice about other shooting games!!!!!!!!

Halo is the best game ever made!!! Nothing can compare to Halo! Halo is the god of games! Okay, the graphics are awesome. The story is awesome. The music is awesome, but the theme music gets depressing after a while. The controles take a bit of getting used to but are pretty straight forward. The only problem is it is taking too long to make the second Halo, which will rule to, and there isin't enough choas yet! Overall Halo is my favourite game! Im on the Crash site of the pillar of atom in legendary difficulty! WOW!!!

I've played many FPSs in my day, but Halo has got to be one of the best. Graphics are like no other, storyline is something new, and the gameplay is fabulous. The only down side is the multiplayer. Personally I think Perfect Dark has better multiplayer because you can play with bots, but with a sequel to Halo, (I don't know what the hell it could be) Microsoft can blow any other FPS out of the water. Some levels may get frustrating (personally I hate Library) but hang in there! Halo's multiplayer is still good, since you can choose the vehicals and weapons, and if you have that mini-modem thing, you can play Halo online with other people (of course you have to pay like 20 bucks to Gamespy to play, only once though)! If you have XBOX but no Halo, go out and buy it you moron! If you have a GameCube (PS2 is cool so keep that) sell it for an XBOX if you don't already have one! GAMECUBE SUCKS! Halo is definitly a must-play!

Halo is the best first person shooter game ever. In fact i think it is the best game ever? That 5exy dude i dunno know whats his problem but i think its the best game. Everything from the graphics and sound to the game play is just right. I like how the story line is not too detailed or too plain. If you own an xbox your 50 bucks (or whatever currency u use) is definitely worth this game.

What a game. Vast enviroments and graphics look so sweet. You do get addicted due to the gameplay. Rocket launchers and tanks give the game really good weapons to use and excitement. The sound effects are really good aswell. You can hear whats going on around you and get a head start on the enemy. The game never gets boring. You play it over and over again and you just can't put it down. Theres no other game like it on the market. A must buy ££

Halo is perfect. I'm sorry, but there is nothing wrong with Halo. The weapons are great (i.e. sniper rifle), the graphics are great (you can see the friggin blades of grass in the ground!), story line is excellent, co-op is neato swift, and multi-player is the ish! How can anybody not like this game. Like, that 5exy Dude reply, what the (censored word) is his problem? You can't even compare this game to 007 or perfect dark. all of the 007 games are a joke (besides goldeneye), and perfect dark, no comment. So, everybody go play Halo now!

This is the BEST 1st person shooter ever, 4 REAL ! my favourite bit is the level where you have to follow the blue sphere thing (co-op, heroic or legendary), and the face-hugger things and the mutant claw things POUR out from EVERYWHERE continuosly AAARGH ! there's untold ! on co-op HALO is DON ! link-up is DON too - we did 2 xbox linkup, six controllers (three on each) and HALO was pure quality - the vehicles are superb too. SUPERB GAME !

Most of these people in here think halo is good but some of these crazy jokers like 007 and perfect dark better. Well i have both of them they both are great games i used to think that goldeneye was unbeatable, not any more since halo came out it has changed my standards i try to play perfect dark with my friend but i can not even play it the graphics are not good it freezes up and is too easy, the story is not as indepth. Halo has a story i can not get enough of plus its little added things of reality like the posters in the lunch room to the talking grunt on the maw. The vehicular combat is unsurpassed you can jump out of the tank, gohst, warthog, banshe, fight on foot comendeer some one elses machine run off with it any thing is possible. like on 007 on the mission called "surface" the trees are just black wall, cut off, can not get through halo there are no boundries, exsept in the ocean in the level "silent cartogrpher". i like having the marines to fight side by side with. it is ausome! over all this game has the most unbeatable multi player. a few things i would change, one put an altitude and invisible sides on top of the canyon walls on the "blood glutch, my favorite." and the ice level and be able to fly the banshe and get on the top and sniper. By the way the sniper rifle is incredable, the pistol unserpassed. All the weapons have there special ability like the shot gun is the best short range weapon. One other thing bad there are no codes, not like i need them i have beat the game in all 4 settings yes even legendary. Yes there is a different ending it shows a black sergant and a eleat alian fighting over a asalt rifle then they hug and get blown up. Well this where i conclude my "review"!

Clearly one of the best video games, Halo provides a great story, awesome graphics, cool weapons, and many different settings to play on. There are only a few things wrong with it. You can't get the banshee in multi and it has only ten levels. The melee attack is awesome because it has the best effect on enemies. I don't know of other games with hitting attacks while shooting. Anyone who thinks Halo sucks needs to get a life. It should be made into a movie.

I never thought that they could ever make a game that is this good. I have Xbox, Nintendo64, Gamecube and Paystation2. Each one has some great titles. Perfect Dark, Perfect Dark 0, Final Fantasy 10, but halo far surpases them all. Graphics are stunning. The attention to detail is unbelievable, the music is perfectly suited, and the story line is better than any game I have played before. If you have an XBox you have to have this game!

This game is easilly one of the best first person shooter games. The graphics are so realistic, the guns are great and the story line is well thought trought. The only thing that got boring to me was multi player (against each other). It is fun for a couple days, then it gets kinda broing. But besides that the game is Execlente...I love how your able to do multi player campagin. For instnace i love 007 Agent under Fire, for Playstation 2 but you cant to mulit player missions. I love multi player missions because i love playing with my friends but when you get bored of playing against each other your able to play with each other. SO OVERALL THIS GAME IS EXECELLENT. O

As my title says, Halo is the best game ever. It has incredible graphics, and incredible play. The controls are fairly simple to master as well. If you buy an Xbox this is the first game you should buy. There's so much to do even after beating the game...an example being that on certain levels you can use the low gravity to launch jeeps and get into places you never would have thought possible or would have been possible until this game. I can't see how anyone who enjoys video/computer games could dislike this masterpiece.(on another note to people familiar with the marathon series: this game is obviously part of the marathon series but is not necessarily a sequel. As hinted by bungie and fans, this game is more likely a prequel to marathon.)

You know, with all the hardcore gamers out there, I'm really surprised nobody's picked up the Marathon influence. I mean Marathon 2 was(and in my mind still is)the best first person shooter -ever- made. Leave it to Bungie to take an awesome story and run with it. When I first saw the preview for Halo, I knew righe away it was Marathon 4. Finally, four years after Infinity, it's here. The weapons have been changed a little, but are still pretty much the same... The AR with horrid accuracy, the double-barrel'd rocket launcher, blah. The graphics are really good. I like being able to look at other people's weapon readouts withi the sniper rifle. Sound is pretty good overall, but easily the best I've ever heard from Bungie. The only thing I'd change is the assault rifle's accuracy. Seriously... What military would standardize a gun that couldn't make a ten foot group at fifty yards? That aside... It's fifty of the best dollars I've ever spent.

I've played through the game on normal difficulty and its a great game, but why should I spend over half of the game indoor when the graphics is sooo beatiful? and the rooms inside are almost the same that was really boring. Coop is even more fun! Cover each other while we blast those alien scums to hell! Multiplayer is great too Can't help loving to snipe my buddies..hehe. But here aswell, only 2 good levels outdoor, the rest is crappy levels indoor. My bottom line is that u have to buy halo if u decide to buy a xbox. It's one of the greatest game I've ever played even though it could have been better...

Well, I thought Halo was beyond awsome it was just to good and another thing, the controls are in the right place and killing aliens is really fun. I liked the graphics they were really realistic but the thing is that the game gets kind of hard because I'm on the last level and I can't beat it!! But Halo is fun so go buy it.

For the first 20 minutes, I must admit,multiplayer was fun. Then it got annoying. But dont even think about playing single player because it is the most boring thing on earth. You shoot aliens and its not violent, so I dont know why its even rated Mature. All the guns in this game are pretty cool, but it is boring shooting aliens. The AI of your enemys is good though but at the few last levels the AI seems not finished. The graphics are good ... FOR PLAYSTATION 2! I mean Xbox can support better graphics than this. And at last comes the awful controls. The controls are placed in the worst places. Like you have to press the worst button to shoot. I think Halo is over rated,and I think you need to rent it. If you buy it, I think you wasted $50 bucks plus tax.

I absolutetly loved the graphics the minute I saw the Title Screen. The music was awsome, and I just love the climax parts where the music gets really pumped up. Sometimes I just sit there and not advance just because I liked that song. Halo has only one drawback, limited weapons. Carrying two weapons at a time doesn't get me, it's just that there should be more. Cooperative... Oh My God. Me and my friend Ryan are ultimate. No Covanant can stop us together. We are like an army, He snipes with the pistol and I go trigger-happy with the plasma rifle or needler. Multiplayer is awesome too. Me and Ryan both have an XBox, and we link them up for 8 player party madness. The best thing about link is, if theres 4 man teams, there's no "looking at the enemy's view" or "making sure the enemy doesn't see you yet". It's all seperated by TVs. It's plain great playing Capture The Flag or just killing eachother with warthogs. I personally suggest this, if there's a sequel, have something that would permanantly enhance your customized character. Such as: permanent starting weapons, speed, strength, cloak (#1 fav), or disguises. My favorite level is Assault On the Control Room, 2 big reasons: 1, you get to use all the vehicles in this level 2, there are parts where you must go stealthily and whack those ba$tards on the back with a gun without alerting them. Overall, this game should be the first one you buy. Absolute best starting game on any platform yet.
