Halo is the best game ever. The graphics are awesome. I love this game because the vehicles are cool, the weapons are so fun to use (my favorite is the shotgun). The music is scary while you are in battle. I think halo and halo 2 will be the best games forever. And when it is quiet you can hear mc heartbeat.My favorite vehicle is the warthog. I like to run over enemies and hear them scream.My favorite level is the library because there is alot of flood in it. I also like to play with hunters. I beat the maw on lengendary twice with a partner. But it is not the hardest level. Keyes is the hardest level to beat. Halo is not to hard or not to easy. I like it that way. Bungie did a great job on halo. The enemies are cool the weapons are awesome, the vehicles are so fun to drive, and the story is cool. Some bad things about halo is nothing. I wonder what things are going to improve in halo 2. I cant think of any. At first I thought halo was not very fun but now I think it is the best game ever.

Every aspect of this game is epic. The campain mode is asome especally cause it lets co-op. In the snow level you can pilot the banshee, go fling around blasting your fuel rod cannon and shooting lazers. The best thing about this game are the aliens: The plump timmid grunts or as I call them chublers are the most pathetic thing I've ever seen. They beg to be butcharded by fleing from battle and sqeeking for help. After becoming extreemly skilled beating legendary the hardest thing to beat are the red elites(second worst rank)and yellow jackles. The guns are all unique and have their strenghts and weaknesses. Not very many weapons but it acually turned out way better than other games with a hundred differnet machine guns. It still has the best graphics of all games. Muti-player is so fun especially when using more than one Xbox, and the other players can't see your screen. If you play this game long enough I promise you some crasy stuff will happen. On multiplayer ramp the ghost off the tank or put on heavy sheids and blast your friend with a rocket launcher for sweet air.

This game is awesome. All the enemys are cool. My favorite is the hunter. The flood is hard to beat but is fun. I cant wait for halo 2 to come out. It has the greatest graphics ever. I even beat the maw on lengendar twice with a partner. My favorite level is the library. My favorite weapon is the shotgun. My favorite vehicle is the warthog. I've found a lot of glitches in this game. It is fun. Who ever doesn't like halo has never played it. Come on it is the best game ever. Halo 2 is going to be the best. Some times the music freaks me out but thats what makes it fun. The gameplay is awesome. I get hooked on the for hours. The graphics are so good because when I crash the warthog it is like realy recking. I thought it was sad when captain keys died. The best part is when you fight hunters. The sniping is awesome. I can pick off enemies far away and not get hurt. I love to fly the banshee and take down other banshees. The marines are funny because of what they say. I didn't mean to kill 3 of them but they were killing me. But then I killed some covenant and they became my friends again.

alright this game is just awesome.i cant wait til halo 2 comes out, but they keep freakin delaying when its supposed to come out.as of right now i hear its comin out in june.i kno A LOT about this game so if u wanna talk just email me.i play this game so much i know every detail and hide out in most of the levels.i make this game strategical.i have many traps and plans.alot of my friends at school call me the halo king.for instance, i know warthogs cant drive one ice,so on sidewinder i take advantage of this.i wait on the ice for someone to think im a sitting duck.as soon as they hit the ice, if i have one, i throw a plasma on the vehicle and wait to see what happens.if hes still alive his shield will have been terminated and you could easily take him out with a pistol.my favorite level would be Blood Gulch tho.there are good hide outs so u can take out ur enemies with staying in hiding.usually u need some sort of weapon with a scope.now i love the snipers,except they blow ur cover when they break the sound waves because the person can tell where the shot came from.dont ever shoot someone with a rocket if they have no clue where u are unless theyre facing away from u and u know the rocket will hit them before they move or turn around,otherwise the can easily dodge it and ur hideout is now known.usually when i come to a close range rocket fight i just throw grenades,move and occasionally jump.the rocket launcher can only hold two rockets so if ur good enough dodge til they have to reload then its magic time. what i like to do tho is get a good jump clearly over the enemy and shoot a rocket straight down which will leave them with no option but to die.now this is just a little of how i like to play.i know much more.email me and i can give you my screen and if youre able to we can chat.

There are many reasons that make this game the best. The graphics, campaign mode, the guns, multiplayer, etc... I believe the music in this game really matches it's atmosphere. What is cool about the music is that whenever you here it, you know to be prepared to be attacked. The guns are cool, but I don't really like the fact that you can only carry 2 of them. Even though it is more realistic to only carry 2, it would have been more fun to carry at least 3 or 4 of them. The aliens (especially the grunts) are funny to watch. The grunts usually hang around the elites because they are to weak to fight themselves. However, if you are in legendary, don't be fooled by their size, if their is a group of them, they will kill you quite quickly. The hardest aliens to kill is the gold colored elites. Most people would say that the hunters are the hardest to kill, but all you have to do to kill them is get behind them with a pistol and shoot their back. I even killed some hunters without using any bullets or grenades just by getting behind them and doing a melee attack on them. It is not very smart to get close to a golden elite,however, because they will kill you with just one slice of their saber/sword. The vehicles are really cool. I do not really have a favorite vehicle because they are needed equally throughout the entire game. Although I don't like the idea that you can't blow up the tank/warthog. My favorite combination of guns, in multiplayer, is to have a sniper rifle and a shotgun. The reason for this is because you can shoot the other guy at long and short range. Plus, with the shotgun, if you are close enough, it only takes one shot to kill something. The fragmentation grenade usefull whenever you have an enemy trying to run away. Just lob one a few yards ahead of the enemy and let them run right into it!lol The plasma grenades are used whenever you are tired of joking around and you want to get rid of the person immediately. Just throw it on them and it will stay put until it blows, needless to say, their dead. If you have a vehicle in multiplayer chasing after you, throw 2 plasma grenades onto the vehicle, if the person doesn't get out, he/she is dead. Also, you can flip the vehicle the person is in just by throwing the fragmentation grenade in the path of the oncoming vehicle. Just one more thing, if you have a person in multiplayer, who always seems to go into the tank and it really seems cheap that he kills you soooo easily, all you have to do is get a sniper rifle and wait until you get a frontal view of him, then shoot where the person's face is showing. It will take at most 2 shots to kill the person in the tank. A more effective way to kill at short range is just to lob to plasma grenades onto the tank. I think I've covered most of this game. Can you see why its such a great game?!!!!!! How can you not like this game??? I think its the greatest game ever, until Halo 2 comes out, that is. Well, good luck on beating this game!!!!!

omg I am in like luv with this game soooo much its soo cool its got awsome graphics amasing guns and unbelieveable worlds to mee the aleians all are funny they run around its hilarious I think if someone doesn't like that game is sooo weird cuz to me its one of the best game I have ever played its one of those games when u start playin it u can never start and plus I got it for christmas even better!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and people always say its way better on the computer I dunno if its true though people say u can play poeple all around the world and thats to awsome too so I think evreyone that is interested in like sience or action or just blood and gore should have this gameeven though its rated m or mature and plus me and my next door neibor played the demo we beat it so easy then I wanted the game so bad cuz the game is like sooooooooooooooo addicting u know wehat I mean it would be really cool if u can be like an aliean in the game that would be awsome if u can already sweet the game is soooooooooooooo cool thanks for the game santa

I love this game for the simply amazing graphics and the best gameplay ever!!!!!I love the smell of fried covenent in the morning.I"m a Halo freak,I mean running around shootin those guys it"s fun alright, the fun parts when you get a rocket ohh ya.Like my favorite vehicle is the all powerful BANSHEE!!!.That thing rocks that makes halo a fun game.Also the array of vehicls at your disposl rocks.Get this game now.I love the powerful weapons dude the best one in split screen is the sniper rifle.Also the coolest alien is the jackel,I like his shield.But those flood guys freak me out man they gave me night mares.Also the cooperative mode is fun certainly on the snow levels.The only vehicle that stinks is the ghost you"d have better luck trying to run them over than shoot them.Like I said befor the banshee is the best with it"s ability to fly and because it has some pretty heavy fire power.It has the same secondary gun as the hunters built in fuel rod cannon.The hunters can be killed by jumping over them and hitting them in the back.

The game is totally awesome,too bad the game doesn't have more levels. Well,if you put it on legendary,it would seem longer. The game has awesome graphics and cool guns. One of the cool things about the game is you can kill your partner on the game. If you keep killing each other, you can get unlimited ammo. The best thing about it is the vehicles, my favorite is the scorpion tank. If you go to demos on the game, and look at Halo 2, they have way better aliens,weapons,and levels, but it will be a long time before that comes out. Grunts, usually stick in packs and use weapons like pistol,plasma rifle,and plasma grenades. Jackals, have great hearing,smell, and sight. They use plasma pistols and carry a plasma sheild. The best way to kill a Jackal is to hit it anywhere on it body just like you do with a Grunt. The Elites are pretty strong, they have a sheild on their body and use a plasma gun. Hunters are the strongest alien of all, they carry a gun and a sheild. The gun is inside of their arm, it is very strong. Their sheild will protect them and will be used as a melee weapon. I don't know why I've even bought my Xbox(Although they say It has better graphics than PS2) I never seen the difference,well the game is dumb when you die easy,I meen who wants to die? They think you say (I DO!) I meen the act like your there slaves,and you gotta beat there games to win prizes,WHAT THE HELL? JUST TO WIN PRIZES? This game is soooooooooooooooooooo boring,and everyone thinks it is cool and graphics are very cool,Well I think you should only buy PS2 Games,you Fanboys suck If you hate PS2,Halo sucks,I meen,Whoever wants to play a game like this? It is like a Copy Of Perfect Dark on N64! And Graphics are to sucky,And Gameplay I said sucks cause of you die easy,If you want a Cool game,I suggest you buy a PS2 and buy GTA Vice City. Oh and don't go crying like theother peeps around here,cause they got a dumb game.

There is no words that can describe this game it is a must have if you own the xbox console its a third person shooter where you have to go to the secreat world known as Halo and when you get there you kill all the alien scum that you can see but if you are into codes that give you invicibility /max ammo this game has none you must play it 100%lagit and that makes it more challenging which to me is a good thing to me and if you want to beat this game be prepared for the long hall it is huge there is lots to explore and do which is why I gav this game 10 stars oh and one more thing it NEVER GETS OLD after you beat the game hook uup on xbox live and join lan parties and that will keep you busy untill april when Halo2 is released so as you can see I think thhis game is definitly worth the money adnd I promie you if you buy this game you will not be disapointeed

I have never seen such an awesome game as it, because its got puzzles, aliens, and my favorate, combat. Although I dislike the unnessessary cussing, its one of my favorate games. I often can't figgure out the puzzles, so I go places like here for help. I also love the Co-Op mode, as, my brother and I beat it as. It was hard going over the debree with the warthog with such low time. He got killed, and couldn't beat it without me as I saved the day. I just can't wait for Halo 2! I saw on the final level he said it just began. Oh, and those Flood freak me out! I have ventured with my brother through the levels, solved puzzles, and wasted my bullets on trying to kill the Moniter. We like shooting dead aleins and walking around next to the fire. When a hunter comes, peice of cake, as we shoot him down dead and cortona gives us a hand. We also like to kick back and stare into alein's faces with the sniper rifle. Man, they need a bath!

Greatest game ever made, it is now THE game amongst all of my friends who have played it.
Some of the smoothest, most detailed graphics I've ever seen on any console and better than half the PC's out there. The controls flow together so well and have even revolutionized FPS control setups ever since then. The Dolby 5.1 surround sound and HDTV support are such nice added touches to the XBox and make Halo even better (I didn't think it was possible either). When you've got a nice surround sound system with good bass and a nice 36" HDTV hooked up to it, the game just blows you away completely, especially in single player.
People complained about having alien races for your enemies since they were used in the past to avoid the human body coding that was so difficult to pull off. However, the bodies of these alien creatures react almost seamlessly as you rip round after round through their bodies. I just wish there was a little more gore in the shooting (ie limbs detatch, heads pop off, bodies torn apart by grenades and rockets). It'd be the absolute icing on the cake for that game but it is still absolutely amazing nonetheless.
The great assortment of weaponry is a nice little feature. That and the concept of only being able to hold two weapons at a time adding that nice touch of realism to bring you back down to earth. The weapons aren't as plenty as they are in some other games, but the tactics employed in using each one of them makes up for it. I'd sooner have 4 or 5 weapons with some substance to them than 20 guns that are just mostly modified versions of other guns already existing in the game or wielding multiple weapons (with the weapons just getting better as you go through them, *yawn*). A real marine wouldn't pull out dual pistols and fire them both of repeatedly with perfect accuracy, it's all about function over flair.
This game is absolutely incredible and even though I've been playing it since it pretty much first came out, I've never found myself bored of it.
If you play just one game on XBox, make sure it's Halo or you'll miss out on a whole new way of thinking.

Im not like one of those idiots... OMG THIS GAME IS INCREDIBLE... well it is but the graphics are great, sound is impeccable, the controls are easy to master, and the missions are detailed. Once you start, you really can't stop. Personally, I found myself beat half the missions in about 2 days because i was practically hooked, but thats what halo does to u. If you own Xbox, and not Halo, you should be shot. Halo 2 is going to be the Shyt. This game is easily the best First Person shooter in video game history. If anyone remembers the old Goldeneye video game for Nintendo 64, they probably remember that, that was the premier First Person shooter of the time. Well Halo, is the FPS of this time, and ever. Halo is such an intense game but it is not the easy game that you can beat in a day. If you play on legendary, you will have trouble with the first few levels. The enemies anyway are done incredibly. My favorite part is being able to listen to the grunts and their stupid comments, then sneaking up behind them and sticking them with a plasma grenade. Then they explode and the real fun begins...

Xbox really owned any other system with halo..but ofcourse....halo is from micrsoft..and BUNGIE..exellent companies when it comes to BEST GAMES.there are endless reasons why halo owns everything...(ofcourse..halo 2 weill indeed kick major ass no doubt)u can see cracks in the ice..leave a trail with the warthog scorpion..ect..there is no way ps2 can have such a cool game for their system.not a chance.then again they suck.the weapons look so detailed.perfect models.and halo has something other games do not have!that is *depending in diffrent weapons for certain ocassions..*there's not a bets weapon in halo.yeah u could say that the rocket laucnher is the best at medium raneg but so useless against a sniper at long range becuz it takes an hour to get there.the only well balanced weapon is my favorite.*Plasma Rifle* man that $#< remove me > at ! is annoying when being used against you becuz it brings ur shield down in a blink of an eye.but u could easily get overwhelmed if ur using a plasma weapon on short range against a shotgun.u'll infrlt a fair amount of damage but u';ll die for sure!!(depends on how evasive you are at halo).all i got to say is.halo is UNIQUE and THE best game ever made..as far as halo 2....thats a hall of famer baby.don't worry bout how long it takes for it to come out..we're all excited...i know.but PERFECTION TAKES TIME.

Halo is probably my favorite game that has come out on the market so far. Not only is it a good, solid FPS with good graphics and fun missions, it also has awsome multiplayer! One thing that makes Halo mulitplayer so much better than all the other multiplayers is that at sidewinder and bloodgulch you can pilot vehicles and run over all the other guy. HA HA HA! The weapons are varied though I was slightly dissapointed at the number of weapons. Only 8. UGH! But they are still awsome to use and the multiplayer levels are huge witch is always a good thing. The replay value is huge and the graphics are really nice! The gameplay itself is awsome unless you get lost in some huge underground place in single player. Then your kindof screwed especially if you have lots of flood after you. THe music is catchy and the game all around is almost perfect. But not quite. That's why I give it a 9 stars. The perfect game hasn't come out yet. I'm half expecting to be the one to make that perfect game. But Halo is definately the best one out right now! If you have an X-box, go out and get it!!!!!!

This is the coolst game ever!!!Anyone who says it sucks deserves to be kicked in the face, HARD! I loved every minute of it! I cant explain how good it is! The wepons are awsome! The plot is really cool! The master chief is so cooool! I allways look in my Xbox magazine at the rating of the game before i buy it, but not with halo! It Is soooooo great! The aliens are awsome! The graphics are the best! Buy an xbox just so you can get halo. One thing though. It really should be rated teen.

considering that it was one of the first games to come out on Xbox.I like how the music only comes on when the game is going to get though or the level is about to end.Timesplitters2 was a very good game but will not beat Halo.I encourage you to buy this game.

Halo I must say is pretty awesome because it has excellent graphics especially for being made when the xbox came out. The graphics i would estimately give 9/10 because the videos at the end of the levels lacked style, but it was still good. The gameplay value was good but multiplayer mode was slightly a dissapointment because you could not set the outher players to CPU so you HAD to play with humans! The sounds were excellent but why could'nt you use your own music??? My friends tell me the pc version is way better because you cannot predict what other people online are going to play like. And it is completely like a new game altogether. The reason I love this game is because of the campaign mode which tops everything I have learnt about games before: You can have different difficulties for which type of player you are. The hardest mode would have to be the last one there which they describe as suicide and guess what? It is suicide! My first impressions to this game were "Just another FPS!" But oh boy was I wrong! It took me a day to complete!24Hrs . But do not! Do not let this put you off. I had this game yesterday and I think that I will be playing it for a long time like the RPG Phantasy star! Overall this game would get 9/10 which is not average! So if you dont get Halo 1 Get Halo 2!
