Halo is the best game i have ever played. Theres only 1 or 2 bad things about it but the rest of the game pretty much makes up for those. I dont understand why people think PS2's are better. Halo got the XBOX in the the guiness book of world records. The PS2 is way over rated. For 1 you have to buy memory cards for it and the graphics arnt as good as XBOX. Vice City could never compare to Halo. Another thing size dont matter its how u use it. For all people who dont already own this game i suggest u go out an buy it or wait for Halo 2. Halo is overall the best game ever.

Halo is a brilliant first person shoot 'em up. It is the best one ever made. It does lack one thing though, and i knoked a star off for it, the ability to place bots in multiplayer games. Race is also pretty lame. The vehicles are amazing, the banshee, wonderful stuff. I would thoroughly reccomend this game to anyone with an Xbox, and the 4+ player multiplayer are totally AMAZING. In a nutshell, the best FPS (first person shooter) ever!

halo is by far the best game ever created. Its graphics are unmatched, and its gaemplay is both realistic and exciting. The AI is the best I have ever seen for any system, characters move freely and are not programmed to do a certain task(for once). This adds a refreshing sense of orginality, unlike any first person shooter i have ever played. The coopertive mode is awesome as well, how could you not enjoy fragging some aliens with a friend? Coopertive mode is what makes the game possible to beat. Who wants a game thats so easy they can run through the hardest level in a day? Multiplayer is just amazing, and it really feels good killing all those people u dont like over a local network. I just love killing someone i dont like and then giggling to myself at how mad i must have made them hehehe. The levels are huge, and for those people who say the game sucks because they got lost, i have some advice: Go opposite the direction of all the dead aliens you killed. Wow thats a tough concept. Or if that doesnt work try going in the direction that the bad guys fire at you from. hey hey, im a genius. The only thing i dont like about the game is no bots. But im not complaining, this game has made me who i am. I am know joining the marines because of this game. Oh i went off track there, in otherwords, halo is the best game in the world......for those of you who didnt get it.... get it. You are making a huge mistake not buying it. Trust me it can change who you are.(for the better)

Halo is a great game. Period. But for some of you guys who are dising PS2 and GC, don't. Each system has their own great game. Halo has some of the best graphics out there until Halo 2 and Ninja Gaiden. I would recommend buying it. Its a great game overall and thats why I am reviewing it. Although I think it could use quite a few more weopons and more vechs. Either way, Halo2 wll have that. Well, what I am trying to say is.....buy it. But don't go trying to grab every dime for it. Its always going to be great. And its not going anywhere.

HALO is the best FPS ever made. What other game has seamless transitions from foot to vehicle? And for those who think that it doesn't have enough vehicles need to think a litle. What other FPS has a tank, ATV, a hovering thing and a flying thing? The graphics kick < remove me > at $$ also, no other game can beat it. The aliens put up a good fight unlike other games where they go down in acouple of shots. Also, they have an awsome AI. The plot i great and intriguing with twists that you wouldn't expect. This game has raised the bar foe FPS games and they will only get better. The only reason I got XBOX was because of HALO but eventually more great games came out.

Anybody that buys this game will be impresed. It has great graphics and a great four player, four screen game. If you buy this game, make sure you buy a system link so that you can system link two x-boxes and telivisions and play with up to sixteen players. Try it, you'll love it. GOD DAMN THIS IS A GREAT GAME!

I recently bought an XBOX (late December 2002), and started hearing all this talk about how great of a game HALO was from other XBOX owners. I was a bit skeptical at first, so I read various reviews of the game before I finally convinced myself to lay down the $50. I honestly cannot recall how many Best Buys I visited before I FINALLY found a copy in stock. I brought it home that night and right after dinner fired up the XBOX to see what the hype was all about... Well, after having played it, I can honestly recommend it to anyone who likes first person shooter games. After having played the Rise of the Triads and Dooms of the world, this one just brings it all together in an immersive, mind-boggling experience. I liked the experience so much, let's just say I'm urging the wife to preorder HALO 2 as my Valentine's gift...

I have to say Halo is a good game, but it gets old. I got halo and beat it. All my friends tell me that i cant beat it on legendary. I have to say that it is too hard. I cant believe it takes that many bullets to kill 1 alien. O well it doesnt really matter tho, because the game is awsome. if you have an xbox it IS a must have, but dont believe the people that give it 10 stars. it is a really good game, but dont loose your head over it.halo kicks so much ass.

Halo is the sickest game I have ever played. I got hooked at my boarding school but all I ever played was the multiplayer version. After I got my own XBOX the first thing I did was go out and buy the game for myself. Immedialtly I was hooked. Althought the storyline get's old, the game was still amazing. Playing in so many different environments, from space ships, to the library, to the 'natural' outdoors, made playing intresting. The non stop flood of aliens provided a great challenge but nothing unbeatable. I'm still in the process of beating the game on legendary though and I'm having a bit of trouble. The mutiplayer modes are great. The split screen mode is tons off fun with lots of different levels to choose frome or ways to play (slayer etc.) and the cooperative play mode is great too. The graphics are amazing and the sound is good too. But my favorite part of the game is the vehicals. After getting the hang of steering, it's so great to drive the Warthog or the tank, and the covenant vehicals are great too, although I do tend to crash the banshee alot. The wepons are cool too but I wish there were more. The shotgun is my personal favorite. The stratigicly placed check points throughout the levels are nice so when you die you don't have to start compleatly over. OVerall this was a fun, captivating, and well planned out game. If any of y'all are trying to decide weather to get it on not, i reccomend it 100%!

For ever i have been part of Sony Playstation, but when Halo came out on XBox, I got one just for it. It is the best FPS I have ever played mixing intriguing gameplay with high quality graphics and soundto add to its already great originality. With multiple levels and guns (although there could have been a larger selection) both single and multi players versions are fun. The only reason anybody couldn't like this game is that they suck too bad. This is the best game for XBox currently on the market.

Look! this game is the game that i will remmember it until i die first this game got a very shiny good graphics second,you can finsh the quest with a freind or play aginst each other with 16 people. there are alot of transportation machines cars,tanks,airplanes and hovercrafts they are so cool EX: you can sit on one of the cars and have some body a marine or a another player sit in the back of the car on the mounted gun and BOW =wow! i played it so many damn times i cant stop. every time my cousin comes we play it. third the enemys. there so smart. the story is the best. and your not alone you have marines but wait they are not dumb like the cops you get in halflife they run, talk, drive, or share help in the cars ETC----. you are free in this game and whats so good about it is that it is realistic you cant carry 1000 guns with you like half life. there are alot of guns in this game but you can only carry 2. and if you like music then get it i dont mean rap or some emenem crap i mean real good truth full music it reacts with the game. this game is on sale for more than a year and still the same price im telling you trust me i know you will like it just get it ok?

Halo is the best video game I have ever played in my entire life.
It beats the graphics of any PS2 or Gamecube games can offer and it has an outstanding cooperative and multiplayer capability's that no other such game in man kind yet has. All XBOX players must play a four XBOX, 16 player link up game of Halo all night with lots of chips and soda and pizza and no sleep. Amen to Halo 1. Halo 2 will be better. HALO 1. BEST GAME. EVER. AMEN (untill Halo 2 comes out).

if you have halo then you have to play prisonor, only rockets. it is the best . after you play like for 30 min then like when u die the graphhics are so good you see a gernade or rocket launcher flying from when u got blown up and you shoot it, all reflexes. it somethings twitches, u shoot it, reflex. i got so used to it when someone is invisble, i see them like there not invisble, i geuss i played too much. the multyplayer is incredible.plus on boarding action i rock. i kill like everyone with a head shot.

i have never played played a game as good as this!the graphics are awesome.if you havent played it go and get it!!!!there are so many weapons.the way the author of the game made the flood just come and not be in the book was a great idea.on a 60 inch tv it looks awesome.i play it all the time.i beat it 2 times on normal once on easy and 1 time on legendary wich is the hardest level of them all! the last level was hard but after a while it gets normal. when i do the last level my heart rate goes sky high! it is an exciting game with many suprises. it was my first game on the system it is on. the first time i played it i was obsessed with it.my father plays it to with me. multiplayer is the only way i played it and beat it.on vs. mode i think it should have a way you con be marines or the aleins.the vehicles are awesome.i also think they should have had you be able to fly the planes in the multiplayer.halo has only a few flaws but i still think it is the best game i have have ever played!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Halo was a breathtaking game. It has amazing graphics, sharp sounds, and a beautiful storyline--just like a sci-fi movie! I must say, I am picky about games, I mean, I am quite the critique! But I coudn't find ANYTHING wrong with Halo. I loved it. The 10 levels of game play were amazing--not to mention the wicked levels and options for the multiplayer section. Halo, dare I say it, was the BEST game I have ever played in my entire life! Sure some people may say, "Why can't we shoot two weapons at a time?" Well, I have a message to them. Halo was supposed to simulate real-life combat. Tell me if you see any Marines shooting two 3-foot-long rifles at an enemy. It is almost physically impossible to keep a target. Plus, the other games that do have a double-weapon feature, I don't see a button dedicated to throwing hand-grenades! As a matter of fact, many of those games don't let you carry grenades! Anyway, in conclusion, I loved Halo, and I can't wait to play the sequel, Halo 2, which will be released some time in 2004.

As soon as i played halo i thought wow! this gameis the most amasing fps ever even more than half life.MUltiplayer has to be the most addictive thing since chips. master chief must be the coolest game hero EVER.things that make this game so special thought are when u do your first warthog jump or having a frozen marine fly hundreds of feet into the air. From what i saw of halo 2 thought things are only going to get better
