I love this game for the simply amazing graphics and the best gameplay ever!!!!!I love the smell of fried covenent in the morning.I"m a Halo freak,I mean running around shootin those guys it"s fun alright, the fun parts when you get a rocket ohh ya.Like my favorite vehicle is the all powerful BANSHEE!!!.That thing rocks that makes halo a fun game.Also the array of vehicls at your disposl rocks.Get this game now.I love the powerful weapons dude the best one in split screen is the sniper rifle.Also the coolest alien is the jackel,I like his shield.But those flood guys freak me out man they gave me night mares.Also the cooperative mode is fun certainly on the snow levels.The only vehicle that stinks is the ghost you"d have better luck trying to run them over than shoot them.Like I said befor the banshee is the best with it"s ability to fly and because it has some pretty heavy fire power.It has the same secondary gun as the hunters built in fuel rod cannon.The hunters can be killed by jumping over them and hitting them in the back.

Halo is $#< remove me > at !ing awesomes. I first played in summury vacation 2003 with my friend Ron on Xbox on Versus mode it took me about 2 hours to get the game. But i mastered it and beat my friend ron and jeff. They good , in fact best players i ever went against ecept for a guy with a profile called Halo king who i battled online. making a clan. beat a game with an old freind in co-op. and beat it in pc and been playing it online which adds two new weapons and six new maps pretty cool , but you get 2 more new maps in gamespy and other things. Cant wait for halo 2. Im a gamer and halo is an awesome game . Well im a good player . shotguns and machine guns are my style of weapons im a good sniper too . Ask some folks in internet (my profile is Ghostkiller). Well im hoping to find an awesome player who can kill me with an hog. Im pretty good my self on vehicles , i went agaisnt 3 strong enmys and won 50-4 by myself.Well i try not to play much but im still good , even have a lot of rookies in my team and started teaching them my styes

PS2 gfx engine can't cope anymore |

I'll say this from the start. I got a PS2 the minute it came out and I thought it was great. Right through all the games to GTA3, still cool. MGS2 was a big letdown, poor loading times, stupid cut scenes etc. I was constantly telling everyone XBOX was crud. However I then went and got Vice City on PS2 and this prog shows that the PS2 can't cope anymore, massive slow down, terrible draw distances, crashing, save game errors. Two years in and the PS2 engine can't cut it anymore. Depressed I went down the shops and saw MS were discounting the XBOX complete with five games for 199.00UKP, amazing deal, at that price I had to have one, even just for the bundled version of HALO. Now I've been playing it solid for two weeks and it is the best console/game out there. Even my PS2 owning friends agree, although it hurts them to say it. I still fire up my PS2 just to play GTA3 or Vice City but it pales in comparison next to XBOX. Just imagine if Bungie used the HALO engine to create a city and cars GTA3 style, it would be amazing.

Halo was a breathtaking game. It has amazing graphics, sharp sounds, and a beautiful storyline--just like a sci-fi movie! I must say, I am picky about games, I mean, I am quite the critique! But I coudn't find ANYTHING wrong with Halo. I loved it. The 10 levels of game play were amazing--not to mention the wicked levels and options for the multiplayer section. Halo, dare I say it, was the BEST game I have ever played in my entire life! Sure some people may say, "Why can't we shoot two weapons at a time?" Well, I have a message to them. Halo was supposed to simulate real-life combat. Tell me if you see any Marines shooting two 3-foot-long rifles at an enemy. It is almost physically impossible to keep a target. Plus, the other games that do have a double-weapon feature, I don't see a button dedicated to throwing hand-grenades! As a matter of fact, many of those games don't let you carry grenades! Anyway, in conclusion, I loved Halo, and I can't wait to play the sequel, Halo 2, which will be released some time in 2004.

Halo is the best game that i have EVER played. Halo two is going to going to be sweeter though. In Halo, you are crash landed on an alien world and you need to fight them off in order to survive. It has four difficulties: Easy which is well, easy.Normal a little harder but still simple.Heroic pretty hard but still not impossible Legendary VERY HARD I suggest you not start on this one i have beaten the game on: Easy: Are there numbers this high? Normal: once Heroic: none
Legendary: THREE TIMES I would say that on Legendary, Two Betrayals is the hardest, right before Truth and Reconciliation.
It is a really good game and except for the mild language I would say that it is perfect. The multiplayer is VERY fun. With up to 16 players all playing at once, it can become kaotic. The best setting is Capture The Flag! If you have two teams of 8 and vehicles in Blood Gulch or Sidewinder, storm the enemy base with tanks, warthogs, and ghosts, it can get really fun. The multiplayer is worth buying the game for!!!! PERIOD

I have played this game for a longgggg time now, and I have to admit it's still the best game I have ever played. I am scared though that halo 2 might ruin the series with something stupid. But here are some tips,
Snipe behind red base in shadow
Theres a glitch near one of the bases on the right walk up there to snipe, ( Squirrel Spot )
ALWAYS use a pistol for fighting anywhere head shots kill like 200 times faster than rifle,
When shoting a rocket delay yourself 3 seconds to where the target is,
When facing a Mammoth ( tank ), grab a ghost is availble the speed of the ghost has the advantage plus you can do tricks of the mammoth!,
On Ice take a warthog on the ice alone with full power then jump out give it around 2 seconds then press X youll be in the gunners seat with the warthog moving,
Even without the tips THis game is really fun and 1 played mode gets boring but multiplayer kicks major ass.
Thats all i can really think of the top of my head right now so if you have any for me just email me.

Okay, first off, the graphics are incredible. You can actually see individual blades of grass. or the instructions on packs of ammo. The A.I. is awesome, especially in legendary. like if you go far off and watch through a sniper rifle, the covenent do things like go to sleep, crawl around, and patrol, and when you attack, they don't just sit there waiting to die, they fight back. and its not like goldeneye, where the guys have bad aim and no health, you gotta unload like three clips of an assault rifle into an elite, and the whole time he could be kicking your ass. Gameplay is awesome, with interactive environments and everything. you blow a gun turret off a bridge, it's down there when you get to the bottom of a level. It has the perfect number of guns, different species and races of enemy, awesome vehicles, and the chance to steal enemy ships. and the movies are awesome. The storyline is really imaginative, and you get sucked into it real fast. plus the fact that you can whack things with your gun. GET THIS GAME!

ok first of all halo kick ass the only thing i dint like is that the game toke me a day bumer but it was GREAT ! me and my friends cant wait until halo2 comes out. oh and I bought this magasine about halo2 and i cant w8 2 see BLOOD GULTH 2! now i find that the hunters shouldent be so easy to kill i meen eny1 can see the orange spot is there weaknest like hou wouldent know that well i mine if you know how to play . my point is that if you cant kill a hunter why even bother trying to kill a elite i find elites allot thougher then hunters . eny way i want halo2 it sucks cause we here in canada only get the game nov 9 . I gust hope that the controls of h2 dint change that much from the 1st one enyway all the dudes out there that want to send me a email go right ahead and plz email me about HALO2 for some edvice like about how the game works and oh yeah 1 more thing dont email me on nov 9 you gust have 2 more days to email me well hope you guys all like the edvice of the hunter thing and oh yeah no offences newbies!

i have never played played a game as good as this!the graphics are awesome.if you havent played it go and get it!!!!there are so many weapons.the way the author of the game made the flood just come and not be in the book was a great idea.on a 60 inch tv it looks awesome.i play it all the time.i beat it 2 times on normal once on easy and 1 time on legendary wich is the hardest level of them all! the last level was hard but after a while it gets normal. when i do the last level my heart rate goes sky high! it is an exciting game with many suprises. it was my first game on the system it is on. the first time i played it i was obsessed with it.my father plays it to with me. multiplayer is the only way i played it and beat it.on vs. mode i think it should have a way you con be marines or the aleins.the vehicles are awesome.i also think they should have had you be able to fly the planes in the multiplayer.halo has only a few flaws but i still think it is the best game i have have ever played!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Halo is simply the ultimate game with graphics up to date and music that you feel into your soul. If you're into that soul stuff. Halo will be the best series of games and anyone who denies it either sucks at halo or has never played. Motions in this game are sooo realistic and the guns and vehichles always leave me leaping with excitement as I blow my friends away! Overall the best game ever! So I love to use the Sniper Rifle i am the best sniper all around. I have not lost a multiplayer match in over 2 years. I am the best of the best the elite one in only ultimate sniper. Dont believe me you go kill 4 elites and 4 jakles with 4 bullets. It aint easy. hmmm not two hundred words yet. Although i am the ultimate sniper and no one can beat me.

Halo is the best game ever. The graphics are awesome. I love this game because the vehicles are cool, the weapons are so fun to use (my favorite is the shotgun). The music is scary while you are in battle. I think halo and halo 2 will be the best games forever. And when it is quiet you can hear mc heartbeat.My favorite vehicle is the warthog. I like to run over enemies and hear them scream.My favorite level is the library because there is alot of flood in it. I also like to play with hunters. I beat the maw on lengendary twice with a partner. But it is not the hardest level. Keyes is the hardest level to beat. Halo is not to hard or not to easy. I like it that way. Bungie did a great job on halo. The enemies are cool the weapons are awesome, the vehicles are so fun to drive, and the story is cool. Some bad things about halo is nothing. I wonder what things are going to improve in halo 2. I cant think of any. At first I thought halo was not very fun but now I think it is the best game ever.

This game called Halo was given such rave that I ran out to by it. What a worthless game? It was bad in ever way possible. The graphics were very lame and all the aliens looked like robots from the toy department in Wal-Mart. The weapons were rip offs from every sci fi game out there as was the extremely pathetic plot. They should have made the plot a off the wall joke like in Hunter instead this dramatic piece of fluff. The sounds must have come from the porgrammars garage because they showed no promise from the start. Single player gets boring within the first two levels and multiplayer brings nothing interesting new to the table. I am planning to pawn this worthless game so is any one wants to waste money just check the local pawnshops. I am a warning to all the people attempting to find out wether this game is acutally worth buying.
Overall this game is worthless and lame that has no real appeal so please stay away from it and get Splinter Cell or Ghost Recon

I played halo for the first time down at my friends house. It is a superb game. The multiplayer is amazing. I reckon dis waz da best shootin' game ever made. Whoever hates this game deserves to av a slow & painful death.
The graphics are an obvious 10/10
so far in da game i haven't seen any glitches. The enemies have amazing graphics and bungie [halo creaters] have put every detail into da enemies. And da guns. Hell Yeah the guns are radical!!!!!!!!! The music is ok!!!!!!!!! I said i only wanted an Xbox just to by this game. 007 Goldeneye for Nintendo 64 is the best shootin' game but this is the 2nd best. It is similar to Goldeneye in many ways!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If your lookin for a really really really action-packed game then you should bye Halo!!!!!!! If you see this game for about 40 quid it is a good offer no matter how much the game costs its just da best. You little kids out there this game might be a bit hard for you. If you like really hard games then buy.

There is no words that can describe this game it is a must have if you own the xbox console its a third person shooter where you have to go to the secreat world known as Halo and when you get there you kill all the alien scum that you can see but if you are into codes that give you invicibility /max ammo this game has none you must play it 100%lagit and that makes it more challenging which to me is a good thing to me and if you want to beat this game be prepared for the long hall it is huge there is lots to explore and do which is why I gav this game 10 stars oh and one more thing it NEVER GETS OLD after you beat the game hook uup on xbox live and join lan parties and that will keep you busy untill april when Halo2 is released so as you can see I think thhis game is definitly worth the money adnd I promie you if you buy this game you will not be disapointeed

i had never been much of an xbox fan untill halo. it opened my eyes. when i started playing, the controls confused me( im an adventure style gamer)but when i got the hang of them i realized that they could not have been improved. gunning down the covenant and flood is a cakewalk thanks to the great control. the graphics are nice too, but there are many glitches. master cheif seems to glide across the ground and looks pixelated. through all the action there is no slowdown, which is good, it would make this a very hard game. i must admit it was a bit short though, i wanted more by the end. there werent enough different enemies, which made it get somwhat repetitive. overall though, it was a good game, mosly nice graphics, like the environments,it controls great. it is still a long ways off of being as good as metroid prime though, if bungie can work out the kinks and update the graphics, they may be somewhat close to even being comparable to zelda or metroid in halo2

halo is so fun that every day from school.I like the graphics than any other game ,i love hearing grunts cuss and say some stupid stuff the sound is great. the game play is like your actually in the game. multiplayer is better in halo than in other shooting games. in multiplayer you can change your lifespan up to 200% to 50% i think halo is one of the best games ever made anybody who thinks halo is a bad game they are wrong i love halo so much i can't wait for the 2nd halo to come out.in my words halo is a 10 from a scale of 1 to 10. If halo 1 is like this than halo 2 is even better. the story of the game is completely original. the value of this game is worth 2 to 3 other types of games. I've player games that ain't half as fun as halo some games like bam aren't nearly as fun. Halo is by far the best game of the decade this is what you can get in stock with halo and many more games on halo halo is probally the best game on xbox and any othersystem

Halo is a total credit to the xbox and how superior it is AND CHEAPER i love my xbox and i am gonna fail my xams bcoz of halo ive completed heaps of times but keep goin bac its ACE i cant stop playin it, i think its best in cooperative the graphics are quite good, could be a little better (my onli criticism) th sound is amazing and i love what the covenant grunts say 'little guys first' they're soo funny, all in all no mater what level u play it on the game play is execellent, my fav alien is a hunter they r cool lifespan is not too much and not too little in sum games its incredibly unreal at how hard it is to die but on this50 side halo is fairly realistic, its v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v FUN, its v original i kno no other game like it and it was deal at £30 ! try it .... buy it ... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!and enjoy it the story is simple yet effective i know i couldnt come up with any thing like that congrats !"!!!!!
