Let me ask you this. Why do you think Halo game of the year for Xbox? Because it's the greatest game ever! Since Xbox was Platform of the year and Halo is game of the year then that means Halo is the the Ultamate Game!!! I've had my Xbox Since December 11 2001 and Halo was the first game I ever got and I still play it almost everyday! Then I showed it to my friends and they loved it. (One of my friends baught it the day after I showed it to him!!!!!!

I like Halo and all,but its rated mature.I mean cmon,look up ESRB ratings for the original Syphon Filter.You get rated teen.It virtually has the same things Halo is rated for.So if you have parents that arent crazy about mature games and want to buy Halo, look up ESRB ratings for the games I mentioned,compare them, and tell your parents what you get.

Every aspect of this game is epic. The campain mode is asome especally cause it lets co-op. In the snow level you can pilot the banshee, go fling around blasting your fuel rod cannon and shooting lazers. The best thing about this game are the aliens: The plump timmid grunts or as I call them chublers are the most pathetic thing I've ever seen. They beg to be butcharded by fleing from battle and sqeeking for help. After becoming extreemly skilled beating legendary the hardest thing to beat are the red elites(second worst rank)and yellow jackles. The guns are all unique and have their strenghts and weaknesses. Not very many weapons but it acually turned out way better than other games with a hundred differnet machine guns. It still has the best graphics of all games. Muti-player is so fun especially when using more than one Xbox, and the other players can't see your screen. If you play this game long enough I promise you some crasy stuff will happen. On multiplayer ramp the ghost off the tank or put on heavy sheids and blast your friend with a rocket launcher for sweet air.

alright this game is just awesome.i cant wait til halo 2 comes out, but they keep freakin delaying when its supposed to come out.as of right now i hear its comin out in june.i kno A LOT about this game so if u wanna talk just email me.i play this game so much i know every detail and hide out in most of the levels.i make this game strategical.i have many traps and plans.alot of my friends at school call me the halo king.for instance, i know warthogs cant drive one ice,so on sidewinder i take advantage of this.i wait on the ice for someone to think im a sitting duck.as soon as they hit the ice, if i have one, i throw a plasma on the vehicle and wait to see what happens.if hes still alive his shield will have been terminated and you could easily take him out with a pistol.my favorite level would be Blood Gulch tho.there are good hide outs so u can take out ur enemies with staying in hiding.usually u need some sort of weapon with a scope.now i love the snipers,except they blow ur cover when they break the sound waves because the person can tell where the shot came from.dont ever shoot someone with a rocket if they have no clue where u are unless theyre facing away from u and u know the rocket will hit them before they move or turn around,otherwise the can easily dodge it and ur hideout is now known.usually when i come to a close range rocket fight i just throw grenades,move and occasionally jump.the rocket launcher can only hold two rockets so if ur good enough dodge til they have to reload then its magic time. what i like to do tho is get a good jump clearly over the enemy and shoot a rocket straight down which will leave them with no option but to die.now this is just a little of how i like to play.i know much more.email me and i can give you my screen and if youre able to we can chat.

Im not like one of those idiots... OMG THIS GAME IS INCREDIBLE... well it is but the graphics are great, sound is impeccable, the controls are easy to master, and the missions are detailed. Once you start, you really can't stop. Personally, I found myself beat half the missions in about 2 days because i was practically hooked, but thats what halo does to u. If you own Xbox, and not Halo, you should be shot. Halo 2 is going to be the Shyt. This game is easily the best First Person shooter in video game history. If anyone remembers the old Goldeneye video game for Nintendo 64, they probably remember that, that was the premier First Person shooter of the time. Well Halo, is the FPS of this time, and ever. Halo is such an intense game but it is not the easy game that you can beat in a day. If you play on legendary, you will have trouble with the first few levels. The enemies anyway are done incredibly. My favorite part is being able to listen to the grunts and their stupid comments, then sneaking up behind them and sticking them with a plasma grenade. Then they explode and the real fun begins...

The halo on xbox kinda stinks compared to the new PC version.. How can you people say it never gets boring?? Maybe the first time you play it it dont but after awhile it gets very boring! Most of the guns suck. Only like 4 types of aliens(jackal,hunter,grunt,elite). The graphics are by far the best tho and so is the sound. Not many vehicles either.(warthog,ghost,tank,banshee) But Halo is no doubt in the top 10 for best games made so far. One of the best features are the aliens talking. Like if you die you will hear a grunt say "i got his gun!" or when you kill an elite a grunt will say "he took down an elite!" I think i heard a few cuss lol, but im not sure about that. And its very fun to launch warthogs into the sky with rocket launchers! This game is a MUST HAVE!!

this is one of the most action packed games ever owned and is expecting another, for anyone that says it is one of the worst games it is because u dont have it, or you rented it and you just say that it is one of the worst cause you dont own it is defenitly better then the first by a long shot new vehicles new weapons and even boost for vehicles i think (if or not) halo 3 comes out it will be even better and again lik the second new improvements for anyone who doesnt have this game i feel your sarrow and sympothy this is altimitely the best game made so far the graphics are also the best ive ever seen only with a few glitches witch is good for a good graphic game like this one gamplay in this game is very intense with explosions firing of weapons such as rocket luancher smg pistol brute shot sniper and many more i think this game will be one of the hottest games still later in the world it is the most shocking thing micosoft has ever came up with and thank the makers for making this game this will always be my favorite game on xbox (probobly)lol

Xbox really owned any other system with halo..but ofcourse....halo is from micrsoft..and BUNGIE..exellent companies when it comes to BEST GAMES.there are endless reasons why halo owns everything...(ofcourse..halo 2 weill indeed kick major ass no doubt)u can see cracks in the ice..leave a trail with the warthog scorpion..ect..there is no way ps2 can have such a cool game for their system.not a chance.then again they suck.the weapons look so detailed.perfect models.and halo has something other games do not have!that is *depending in diffrent weapons for certain ocassions..*there's not a bets weapon in halo.yeah u could say that the rocket laucnher is the best at medium raneg but so useless against a sniper at long range becuz it takes an hour to get there.the only well balanced weapon is my favorite.*Plasma Rifle* man that $#< remove me > at ! is annoying when being used against you becuz it brings ur shield down in a blink of an eye.but u could easily get overwhelmed if ur using a plasma weapon on short range against a shotgun.u'll infrlt a fair amount of damage but u';ll die for sure!!(depends on how evasive you are at halo).all i got to say is.halo is UNIQUE and THE best game ever made..as far as halo 2....thats a hall of famer baby.don't worry bout how long it takes for it to come out..we're all excited...i know.but PERFECTION TAKES TIME.

Halo is simply the ultimate game with graphics up to date and music that you feel into your soul. If you're into that soul stuff. Halo will be the best series of games and anyone who denies it either sucks at halo or has never played. Motions in this game are sooo realistic and the guns and vehichles always leave me leaping with excitement as I blow my friends away! Overall the best game ever! So I love to use the Sniper Rifle i am the best sniper all around. I have not lost a multiplayer match in over 2 years. I am the best of the best the elite one in only ultimate sniper. Dont believe me you go kill 4 elites and 4 jakles with 4 bullets. It aint easy. hmmm not two hundred words yet. Although i am the ultimate sniper and no one can beat me.

freedom of movement, challenging opponents that do not wait for you to kill them, not too many weapons (a definite plus!) and sick, seamless graphics... why nine? it's not perfect, but closer to it than any other...

Halo was a pretty well developed game I think. Microsoft didnt think it would go very far since it was released when the Xbox came out. There are a few glitches in the game, but what games are you gonna find that dont have any? I thought the graphics were crazy. They were great. And the massive multi-player games you can get going are insane. Whos ever heard of 16 player games? Thats a definate plus. I think they should make a sequel to the game. If Halo made such a big impression when it first came, then you know the sequel is gonna rock, if there is one. The gameplay was great, however, i wish the eviorment in the games was more interactive. Like if a bomb goes off near a tree, itll fall, or get thrown a small distance. Oh yeah, about the sequel part. If anyone else has beat the game yet, in the end movie, the Master Chief says thats 'This is only the begining.' so you know theres gonna have to be a sequel

Halo is the best first person gun game I have ever played. Most games in this style get me motion sick right away, but with this one I can last hour and hours!!!!!!Also the story line is pretty good. It reminds me alot like Aliens. But Like I said this is the best game I have ever played in general!!!!!!!!

Listen, Halo's multiplayer mode goes beyond the comp(perfect dark Goldeneye (DOOM LMAO)) and goes to such extent to make the perfect combat style for you! My friends and i got three XboXes together for 12 action and i dont have to mention the hours and hours of fun and carnage we had, it was awesome! Even the story mode is incredible, the graphics(astonding) enemies(crafty, and smart) and two player story mode adds to the destruction, the game is truely exellent!

I loved the game! The first time I heard of Halo I said "Just another stupid game. Project Gotham Racing is probably better" But once I went to my friend's house and played it, I couldn't keep my self of it! It's not been to easy for me to get to play it because i have some stupid rule in my house, no playing games on the weekdays, only weekends, And I dont own the game yet. I spent most of my money on the XBox it self. $300.00. So when I rented the game on the first day I beat the game. The Graphics were (to me 9.4 of 10). The game Bettteerr!! have a sequal game to it. it would have to! It's the best game ever made! (yet, of course)

This game makes me feel lucky i got an xbox than any of the other systems. The game play is better than anything else. The graphics are great.(of course) What makes this game and every good game great is that it makes u feel that ur in a whole new world. One of the great things about this game is availability of the tank and the banshee. And is therae anything else better than killing aliens?

This game has the best graphics, sound, and character design I have ever seen. It was the reason I bought the Xbox in the first place. The game has an extremly powerful AI. Each character reacts on thier own and has memories and intelegance of it's own. There is no "god mentality" where the characters know everything no matter where they are. The speach is context sensitive and the comments of the characters (friend or foe) are varried and funny. The weapns are also very well thought out, for example when you fire a plasma rifle too fast it overheats. The weapon design is also very inventive, the rocker launcher for instance, has directions for use written on the side. The covenant characters are comical in the lower ranks (grunts) but very dangerous in the higher levels (Hunters, Invisable Swordsmen, and Spec Ops Grunts). The number of glitches discovered was very minimal and did not draw away from gameplay. The context sensitive music and sound effects are very good on any tv and make the game totally imersive when played through DTS 5.1 surround sound. The veichles are fun and interesting to pilot. Overall a big glitch is the environment. When a tree gets shot by a covenant mortar tank the tree looks exactly the same. One other thing I could think of is that the banshees can not fly well at all (they run into everything) but can miraculously hit a Warthog on every try. Overall the good points of the game far out number the bad pionts. The game is not perfect but nothing in the world is.

First Things first this game kicks the hell out of any game. I am a huge zelda for 64 fan, but when i saw the new graphics for cube I shuddered. I was never goin to buy an Xbox until i saw the graphics and that the games are more realistic than any other, unlike cube which are all cartoonie, but anyway back to Halo. I thought i was just going to be another shoot and kill game with no strategy but when I played it, it was unlike any other game made. The ability to move was awesome you weren't restricted to one position. The guns were realistic. The enemy were the best ever made they were smart except for the grunts, but they moved different ever time, and didn't role over for no reason or fall down if they weren't even dead like goldeneye. What i'd like to see in the second if there is are some new features such as; Infared, so you can see you enemy before they see you and a nightvision, and fiberoptics as well. I'd like to see a laser sight and scope on the rifle. The laser swords that some Elites or have a knife that would be cool because they mention that the spartans used knives in " Fall of Reach." Beable to drive the huge Covenant hover tanks. Have a silencer for sniper and pistol. And finally a bonus level of the Spartans fight together on Reach. These are the reasons I gave the game a 9 but I still loved this game and can't wait till the sequal and the movie.

Well i got this game right when i got my xbox so it was my first and so far its my favorite i have (Max payne, Amped, Dead or Alive 3, Ufc tapout and Project Gotham) but i think halo has them all beat. you can sit down and play it for hours and if you put it on lengendary its even more of a challenge, ive beat the game on every difficulty. and when my friends come over we have 4 controllers and we just go at it, every man for them selfs, 2 on 2, flagging, fragging, king of the hill, every thing its just fun and you never seem to get bored with this game. if you have a xbox i would recommend you get this game, it rules! =]

I am an obsessive gamer, and this game is a first for starting games. Out of every system I have seen, none has had such a successful starting game. And those ppl who say less than 7, are PSX fans and just dont like to see their system's games suck so much. Halo has great graphics, huge worlds, great storyline, and a nice array of badguys. I liked how the human ai's got in ghosts and helped. I also thought it was a good idea to not let people use the wraith (covenent tank), because of its abilities and armor. If you dont think so... think how many hits it takes you to destroy one, and then look at the $#< remove me > at !pit; notice how the pilot is completely shielded? And the banshee in multiplayer would be nice, but it would be a menace in that the pilot is shielded as well, mostly. All vehicles in multiplayer have it so you must kill the people in the vehicle because the vehicles dont get destroyed. Finally, the comedy put into this game makes it even more enjoyable. If you are totally wiping the floor with covenent, some of the little guys will start running away shouting lines such as "He's gunna kill us all!", or "Save yourselves!". Even when death is imminent to them as a grenade is stuck on a part of their body, "Oh not again!". Overall, a definite buy.
