Way to lose track of time39709

A gamer from Columbus Ohio USA says (14/Mar/2004):
This is an excelant game. The graphics could have been a little better along with the music. However, you should be willing to make look over some things when you have a great storyboard such as this. You have the ability to roam around the whole country without doing a single mission. I like that. When it does come to missions these creators set no boundries. You can be a theif or a hero which is a lot more than others can say. I like the an depth storyline for the main corse though. It makes me feel kind of intelegent to be able to understand everything that is going on.
The other thing I like about the game is that there is even adventures it contains. You can even find tombs that has nothing to do with the storyline. Just brake in them and steal things. ALl the weapons to choose from too. Froms heavy axes to glass daggers. Ninja throwing stars to steal crossbows. They have about sixty weapons all together, plus you can enchant them if you want to. If you don't like killing with weapons, that's all right too in this case, because you can have your charector practice wizzardry as well. You can even invent your kind of spells. If you kill a charector that is in the storyline they will not come back so the relism can be apprecaited too. If you buy this game and find yourself lost, I sugest you buy the stratigy guide to improve your gaming abilities. The sky is the limit inside this game and everyone that has an game consel should at least spend ten hours on this game. The only way this game could be better (I challenge the cretors) is if they take this game and make it live for X box.

This game r0x0rz teh b0x0rZ!39476

Chris the Great from Milwaukee,WI says (3/Mar/2004):
wow. When I first got a copy of morrowind, I wasnt even really a true RPG fan at all, and never really was any good at in depth games due to a short attention span. When I first popped it in It looked crappy. Coming strait from games such as halo and other great graphic box games I was almost sure I waisted my money. But I learned how massive it was, and how interactive it was. (3x more interactive then inivisible war) And the non-linear storyline is amazing addition to such a in depht game. Ive seriously stayed up for 36++ hours just to get my time in, and came to school late alot (im 13). I cant find a bad thing in the game really. Except the box users seemed to have missed out on more accesability in the pc ver.(like hotkeyed weps and stuff). I personally like the fact that you can make cool arrangements with dropped stuff, I made a huge bank account of nice items in the gharok manor (by my main man creeper).only thing id ask to add after playing the goty ver is custom soundtrks, that would really r0x0r teh 130x0rz!!!!!

This game blows39382

A gamer from Pennsylvania, USA says (28/Feb/2004):
Two days ago, I would have said that this is the greatest game ever. I even recommended it to friends, (boy am I an idiot). After playing this game for 3 weeks, and trying to keep with the story line, I have arrived at a point in the game where I either have to kill the guy that I am suppose to talk to, or let him kill me. If I kill him, the world is doomed and the story is over. It would appear that my only option is to start over. In essence, I have just wasted 3 weeks a $$$ with this game.

Best RPG ever!38452

Creampuff from Ohio (USA) says (21/Jan/2004):
This is the most in depth game I have ever played. With over two-hundred hours of gameplay, this game is not only filled with quests and guilds but the graphics and wide selection of items keep the game interesting. This is an amazingly open-ended game with a true sence of freedom as you can do anything you wish. You can create your own spells, collect plants to make potions, repair your weapons, steal nearly everything you see in the game, master a great variety of skills, and make weapons and armour(only with the expansion). This is a definite great buy if you are into in-depth games. Rating this game a ten is the least I can do for this amazing game.

One of the best games ever (Halo has 1st place)!38318

A gamer from burlington massachusetts usa says (16/Jan/2004):
This is one of the best games made! i know everyone is saying that so i continue the legacy. I started playing the 1st edition on the computer 1 year ago and in 2 mins i got hooked.
I played soo much i got in trouble. literally u can go from popular like me to a nerd like some other kid down the block.
when i moved i lost the game and my heart was broken. then i got x-box and my world changed yet again. the game of the year edition and the love of the game came back! then 2 days later i found the old game and i was literally p.o. if u got 30 bucks from something and a friends birthday is comin up screw them! buy the game!!! or i will come and slap u to mental ness. in the end its the second best game ever made!

This seems like a good coaster, or maybe a frisbee...38077

Ty from Oregon, USA says (8/Jan/2004):
Just to start things off, I would like to say that this game is NOT to be bought, but maybe borrowed from a friend... heh heh. You only have three attacks with your sword, the graphics are bad, and if you do one thing wrong you're on the run. I became "Drake the notorious outlaw" in a half hour. Does that seem right to you?! Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone was a better game. If you find something that is good about the game(other than being able to steal), contact me some way, and I will personally come to your house and slap some sense into you.

This is by far, the greatest game EVER!!!!36668

Willy Bubba from J-Town, Ohio says (6/Dec/2003):
I had only $20 after buying my X-Box and know idea what to buy. I had heard of Morrowind some where before but wasn't sure it was for me. I wasn't really a fan of other "linear" RPGs, compared to Morrowind all other games are linear. I started playing and was hooked before I even got out of the Cencus Office. The graphics were excellent (textures lighting of course the lovly water, and I could stare at the sky and be amazed). I have played for months, it is past day 900 in the game, and I still am finding new quests secrets, and freaky little things like the scrolls of dead adventurers, with their last words written in blood, human flesh in palansour, north of gnisis, ect. It is absolutely amazing how much detail was put into this game. I have made a potion to fortify my intelligence 500,000,000 points for over a billion seconds. I have become god-like on this game but still find it to be challenging. There is not much I would do to improve it. While there is a ton of reading (some books are clever and enjoyable) I was glad to here characters talk to you when approached unlike final fantasy, the enchantments/soul trapping/spells are unbelievable. I could go on like this for pages but I'll sum it up buy saying, if you have an X-Box, get this game. If you don't, buy one and Morrowind. It is by far the greatest game I have ever played. The only con is that if you're not careful your social life will no longer exist, unless you count talking to all the people on this game, of which there are thousands, literally.

Best.Game.Ever.35790

Julius from Detroit, Michigan says (21/Nov/2003):
The wide open freedom of this game was simply amazing. I loved how you got to choose how you wanted to live in their world. You could bassically get a job! Even a house! I'm not a big RPG fan, but my dad had this game and I just tried it out. The first time i played, the lush world was simply awe-inspiring.

The Greatest.32668

A gamer from jacksonville, florida, USA says (29/Sep/2003):
First and foremost, this game is very well put together. I absolutely love this Rpg. I am level 69 now and beat the game but there is still so much more to do. Sub- quests from travelers along the road. Different factions to join more quests, Caves to unravell underwater grotto's etc. People to see places to go. Rating is the best!!.. By the way by beating the Telvanni House quest's they give you a Stronghold of your own. It's really cool to.

Ok, ok, is good but still they must put a lot of work to fix somethings in the game31826

Praetor: Ceagle Beowulf from BEAVER PA USA says (11/Sep/2003):
Ok, LET ME START, THIS game is cool its true, but It COULD BE MORE COOL Than THAT!!! lets start whit the graphics, I prefer slow graphic quality whit more varietys, in the game, You must see, graphic took a lot of work in the game, that work can be put it into more AI and monsters and a lot of weapons and accesories, and if you could marry in the game will be nice too, added whit abilitys to by Houses, or make big castles hire mercenarys to protect the castle but i mean more mercenarys!!!
More Quests more lands and if they could put a horse will be nice to because you may tire of being walking and running whitout knowing where you are!!! THE SOUND OH MY THEY MUST WORK HARD ON THAT jUST 1 soundtrack spining around it makes me dizzy!
Put some celtic, mediavel, and drums they will took more adrenaline!!!

Help!!!!31774

A gamer from Los says (9/Sep/2003):
I purchased morrowing because my uncle(who's a rpg fan) told me that it was an awesome game. So as soon as I went I got it. This seems too much for me. It's too complicated and it seems you'll have to spend forever just to get the hang of it. The controls aren't that good and the loading sucks. I am also having some trouble because whenever I play it there are parts in the game when you're like going up a mountainor something that my game like freezes for a sec and then continues. That bothers me and i was wondering if that happens to anyone or maybe I got a faulty game. I doubt it's my xbox since all my other games run smooth. Well Peace.

Oh my god!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!30700

Liondor from Penzance,U.K. says (21/Aug/2003):
I first heard of this game from my older brother asking me if I had heard of morrowind yet? which I hadn't so I asked him what about it he said it's the largest rpg ever made and you could spend ages in one room but I didn't have any money so I couldn't buy it. A few weeks later he told me that one of his friends had baught it so I got excited because his friends always always lend him thier rpg's when they're done whith them eventually 2 months later he said that his friend had agreed to it, finally I thought, Morrowind. I sat down to play it and as soon as the beggining fmv started I knew I wouldn't be dissapointed. When reached level 3 I thaught how could that gut get bored of this game - it's immense and it's water sigh.

my mistake30219

Christian (pronounced chris-jin) from Sioux City Iowa, USA says (16/Aug/2003):
ok, you dont have to fetch a cursed soul gem to be cured of vampirism. you have to kill some people. (easy, right?)of course it is. some guy tells you to kill some people, then when you go back to him, you will get a potion. "in theory," it should cure you. be warned, as you cannot use transportation service, it will be a long hike uphill. but its worth it.

SOS: Glitch stopped my play -- help me29744

Erika from LA, CA USA says (11/Aug/2003):
I love the game. I'm new to the RPG world, so any review I give would be uninformed. BUT I need your help. My armor ratings (including unarmored) all fell to 0. I didn't realize it until I got the message that my heavy armor rating increased to 1. It looks like a curse, because the zeros are in red, but I got no curse message. I got all my armor repaired and it did nothing. Everything I buy is at 0.
