when i first started to play this game i thought it was so amazing i mean the only thing i havent interacted with was well nothing i mean you can take the meat of dead rats like WOW!but after a day or so i got bored of the game because well i had no idea of what to do so i thought and realized that it was so good i restart it and be more carefull and take the game in rather then in my haste of thinking the game was so crazy i was to jitterey to listen to what the people in the game were saying,but this time i lisend to them i trained i joined a guild i made about 5000 gold and all i can say now is WOW!and i havent been able to take my eyes of it for like a week.oh ya this was the first game i purchased for a xbox and what a hell of a first impression so when you get a xbox or have one bye the game and if you dont like it id like to hear why because i have no idea why anyone wouldent like it!

Everyone gives this game overly good ratings,it definetly could have been way better, but I guess this is how it is when you relaease games into the mainstream... EXPENSIVE. I'm sure if money was to object the team would've given everyone their own opinions and so forth. That's on thing it should have inherited from standard platform RPGs--- NPC development, only using somewhat of their same system, making it a better hierarchy of thoughts for each NPC. Maybe I'm only dreaming, but someday this will happen... For now I make my own games for the trusty old comp... Also some people wander around aimlessly, and where the hell are a ll the kids? And (sorry for bringing this one up, but after playing some SNES game I couldn't help but ask) WHERE IN GOD'S NAME DO PEOPLE GO TO THE BATHROOM? Take no offense, this is my favorite game - EVER. But I think they can do better, I know I can pretty much figure out how this system works and dupe it. But I want to see some NPCS walk to the market and buy something, then go home, put their kids to bed and sit down and have a drink or something. And what's up with the loading on xbox? Anyways that's all I have to belittle now, have fun.

Morrowind is one of the best and most fantastic games out there, me and my friends love playing it, I currenly have a level 18 Crusader who is very high in the Fighters Guild, its also a boon for you to get invis. pots, if you do you can steal very nice stuff, (cheap i know but still WAY cool) this game is like one of the best games out there, i would advise anyone to get this game and Halo, and if you can get another Dead to Rights but deffinetly Morrowind, because it has the best graphics, i mean when u cast a spell u can see it move, and people have their hands up during sandstorms and stuff, i mean how COOL IS THAT!

Morrowind is the, no exageration... the best looking and the most ultimate game i've ever played. The graphics are amazing, it has cool A.I., very realistic, and the coolest thing of all........ THE CRAB KING!!!!!!!! If it wasn't for the crab king would have been only a 9 out of 10 instead of a steady 10/10. They put a few more extras in there for a few good laughs, such as.... the talking skamp in Bamora, an the strip club. There were a few annoences though. Guards, fish and birds. I hated the guards the most. I always got caught the very few times i had a bounty, so i'd have to kill him cause the fear of losing all my stollin goods. when i'd atack that guard, more gaurds would come running to assist the damsil in distress(aka gaurd),then i'd get killed. gaurd + bounty = somebad. The water textures were unbeleivably realistic! Designers must have put quite a few weeks into getting the water detail just right. I applaud them for that. getting to chose between faces, hairstyles, classes, ect. was also a bonus. The theif is probably the best character for the game. Many of the tasks you must do in mini quests require you to steal, sneak about, or minipulate someone....and the theif is perfect for those duties. Spells are an almost essencial part if you want to take out attackers as quickly as possable. Trust me on this one, a greater fireball does a grand amount more of damage to foes than a long sword......unless it's the fiend katana. the fiend katana is most likely the most broken weapon in the game. It can take out any opponant in the game in a matter of minutes. The only downside there was to the game was that you couldn't fight dieties in any such way.'tear'. It would have been cool to challenge Loki or Tiamat for a place up with the gods. Overall "The Ellder Scrolls 3: Morrowind" is the most advanced, and largest game out there for play. The only thing that would be better is if "Dungeons and Dragons" made a video game.

Morrowind is sweet Halo is sweet 2 and Obi-Wan but i refer Elder scrolls 3 Morrowind! i beat it my guys stats are like max and yeah stuff like that. Well have i told you i am a jedi my lightsaber is violet like my master mace windu's i can use my jedi mind tricks on the weak minded and everything. Yeah and thats all i have to say for now Bye

This game is the best game i have ever played! Im level 43, I beat lord vivec at level 12. I have every full set of armor, awsome spells, and you no how dwemer people are supose to be extincted well a couple weeks ago I was in Tel Fry tower and I kill ed a big fat dwemer guy with spider legs like a robot machine thing. I think this game is cool because you are in the persons eyes.It is like real life. My favorite races are kajiit, argonian,dark elf, and orc. My favorite classes are rouge, crusader, and barbarian. The sign of the tower is the best. The best game for xbox is MORROWIND!

I thought about this game when i went to the block buster and read it and instantly knew it would be the best game i ever played.
i really like to make my own class and abilities. i always use the red gaurd. i mean int his game you really need and all around character. i mean if you make a character all out mage and nothing else he/she will be slow as could posibly be and cant carry anything. this game is about using your brain and alot of it. i mean the main quest is long and hard as it is the first time around like finding the camps and the burial grounds.
im at about level 28 and still going strong. she hass nothing but constamt effect items and 757str. , 1625 int., 747 willpower, agility 119, speed of 191, personality of 128 and luck of 1614 =->~.
And theres supposed to be a 100 max for each stat.
And my fav, signs are the atronach and ladys grace.
this is the best game i have ever played and i had a hard time putting back into block busters return box. every time i get payed and go to fred meyers they are always sold out.
If you ever get an xbox get this game if you can only afford one if two also get halo

Morrowind is the best god damn game ive played in years, its fun and it is practicly unbeatable, no matter what lvl uyou are you can come back and have fun killing everyone in the shops and so on, there are so many different guilds and classes to choose from, i really like the part that u cant make your own class, and the way you can personalize almost everything you have. If you like long RPG's this is a must to buy for the xbox, even if you dont, i sugest you get it anyway ;)

When I got my xbox I got project gotham racing. Well that was fun for a while then I got like 6 other games played them forever (until I got morrowind) and now all I do is play morrowind. I have too many hours into the game. It’s cool because you can go out to a trader and buy potion-making material. Just hundreds of rat meat or something like that and then some small eggs. Make potions if you want to. Sell them off and make a profit. Sleep and do it all over again. Or you can be a warrior and go do the fighter guilds quests and rise in rank. You could join a temple and do that ever they want you to (haven’t done that yet) you could be an assassin and kill people legally (haven’t done that yet either) I have done a lot of stuff with this game and haven’t even scratched the surface. I am still playing it when I get home from work till I go to bed and before I go to school I even throw in the game and play it some. And I am only on level 27! But that’s not the point. I got my xbox and my friend said pos right away. He’s got a game cube. Haha about a month and a half later he got an xbox because of the game morrowind. It’s a great game and I feel that anyone that owns an xbox should get it. Hopefully they come out with another morrowind game in about a year and a half (that’s how long it will take to beat it for me) hehe but add me to msn messenger if you want to B/S about morrowind. Or just to talk about anything.

This game is extaordinary!!! - It allows you the freedom to be whatever you want to be and it's your world to do with as you wish. You can even decorate your abode with just about anything available. Not only are there exotic towns to explore but caves and passages exist everywhere. I like the ability to choose between 1st and 3rd person views as 1st person often gets me dizzy where the 3rd person does not. The graphics are great especially when water walking and you can look down thru the water and see everything there - It might have used a little more color here and there but that's just a personal preference. The sounds are great, especially in the caves and ancestoral tombs and the thunder storms make you jump. There are quests and more quests and so many other diversions that you can do that there are hours upon hours of gametime. I like being able to actually see the enemies like the racers and netches in the air rather than having the game stop every little way to generate the enemies like in Final Fantasy games. And with all this there are moments of humor in the game that will make you smile. Like a ship full of pillows or the guy falling from the sky. I play strictly rpg/adventure games and have for years but this one is like the proverbial good book that you can't put down - This is a game that I can't stop playing. Let's hope that the X-box will take notice and give us more like it.

This game is great. I just recently beat it after two months of play, going through every single storyline quest (which, you find out later, isn't at all necessary). It gets a little boring and tedious for a while, then exciting again. Definately worth it if you've got the time. Some things are a pain, though: most of all, the limited merchant inventories (you have to wait 24 hours before they restock), and a few points at which you can get stuck in the landscape with no way of getting out (mostly in mountainous regions, such as the ashlands). Also, concerning shops and merchants, they have a limited amount of gold on them; I don't think you'll find a trader with more than 2000 gold available, yet you come across items worth 15,000+ in your travels. These just get thrown away if you can't use them. The game isn't the best, but it's absolutely awesome anyway. Do something fun the second time through, like join the assassins' guild, or become a vampire (my personal goal).

I was skeptical about Morrowind: The Elder Scrolls seeing as I was not that I did not find past Morrowind games interesting. But I was shocked when I rented the game to see all the different types of characters you can customize. I played for the 5 day New Release rental period, and then I went out and bought it with my next pay check. I had no idea what I got myself into. This game has a not too big world, lots of weapons, lots of armor types, many, Many spells, and LOTS of modifiers to the game which makes Elder Scrolls have a HUGE replay value. I was wondering when the game was going to begin to start winding up... but after 1.5 weeks of constant playing, I have only begun to find out ONE possible storyline. Whats more, is once you get high enough rank in the house you have chosen, they will build you your own place to call home. Mind you, this 'home' has its own marketplace. The Music is good, but kinda suspensful at times. There is NO POSSIBLE WAY this game could have been put on PS2 or Cube. Aside from the small glitches which are unavoidable in any game, this is definately a buy,.. considering it is such a long game. It will keep you occupied until the next large-scale game comes out. I have played this game literally for hundred's of hours i have seen 4 characters reach a level of 70 or higher i have seen every weapon in the game seen every piece of armor beaten the main quest without doing anything but killing vivec and taking the wraithgaurd and had the old dwarf put it back together for me i have actually gone through the main quest doing each and every quest (not recommended), i have made tons of magical weapons and amulets in short i have seen almost all this awesome game has to offer and you know why i still play it? so i can go back make another character and do it all over again.

This is one of the greatest games for Xbox since Halo. I bought an Xbox and have been looking for a good RPG for it, I got a game called Azurik, but that was a failed attempt at an RPG by its makers. As soon as I put it in I got the hang of it. Great controls, similer to that of Halo, complete freedom to rome and explore, and a good storyline makes this the best RPG I have played for Xbox, and an equal to the better games of the famous Final Fantasy series.

Its a great game, i hadnt heard of bethesda or any of the elder scrolls games and i love it, its a tad confusing for the first ten min. but then it gets fun and easier and it controlls like halo making it a breeze to attack and stuff, i think any one who has an xbox, half a brain, and an urge to enjoy something sould get this game

It is one of the best games i have seen for the xbox yet the graphics are great and it is just fun to run around and kill people, go in there houses, and steal stuff. Plus I took over a house and decorated it it is my little hide away p.s. its in plagiad by the tavern if u want to see it i also took over the mages guild. Good luck on the game.

I have had Morrowind for about 3 day now. Out of the 36 hours of having it I have played with it for about 20. Once you start you are imedetly hooked. You just can't put it down. The game is so well designed becaus you can go anywhere you want and do anything you want. From being a hired assasin to joing a temple and being a monk this game is for everyone. The graphics are great and the gameplay is awesome. The only flaw is the music gets boring after a while but it's not a problem becuase you can just turn the music off and listen to the radio. Other than that is the best game for Xbox. How can a game be bad if you can choose you own destiny and outcome.

What I like about this game is the fact that you can custom design your caracter that can be completely different than that of anyone else that will ever play the game. The open endedness is really breathtaking and every detail is fully polished. This is an amazing game that everyone should own bar none. This game has all others collecting dust somewhere. They should put morrowind in a class of its own, no other game is worthy of your time after you play this game.
