I think im gonna cry41672

game_gurl101 from Katy(Texas), USA says (7/Jul/2004):
At first I wasnt gonna try Morrowind beacuse, frankly, we were short on money at the time I heard about it. But once my birthday rolled around I got a $#< remove me > at ! load of cash, prompting me to go to a used game store and check things out. I got an SNES first, since my first broke, and Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland. And since my brothers b-day is right after mine, I searched for something for him. And I saw, right on the shelf, a Morrorwind game. And so I got it for him.

Later I asked him how he was faring on the game, he said it was great. And so I asked him if I could try it once. He said sure, when he wasnt on it. That took another year or so. Anyway, when I got it hes character looked awsome, so I started my quest to make my character cooler. When I first played it, it was awsome. It took awhile to get used to the controls though, seeing as how I used to a playstation controller, but I got the hang of it pretty fast.

The graphics are okay, I mean, there not awsome like Legend of Dragoon or Chrono Cross, but they're still great. And I love how you can pick what way you want your character to look, the different clothes you can choose, the paths you can take, and all of that. But aside from all that fun stuff, there is a story line, believe it or not.

Its basically this, the Dunmer (more commonly known as Dark Elves) are totally pissed that other outsiders are taking over their home. So, they start telling of their prophecy where their lord will kill everyone else. You job is to kill him before he kills you. I cant remember most parts, seeing as how my brother wont let me on his Xbox anymore, but thats about it.

While your playing you can simply blow off the main course of the game and go join guilds, be a mercenary, and rob tombs. One thing to do first is join a Great House, and, if you advance enough, they can will give you a house of your own. Let me explain the House's.

House Telvanni. This house circles around magical users. I've heard they're a pretty rough bunch cuz they hate outsiders (and thats what you are) and usually dont accept them into their House. But dont worry, you can still get in. They are loacted in the small islands that are all bunched up in the East.

House Redoran. My favorite House ^_^ This house is mainly for upfront fighters, like me. I forget where they are loacted, but it was a dusty town with lots of crossiant shaped houses. (Im not joking, thats what the houses reminded me of)

House Hlaalu. This is the one my brother joined, even though hes a mage. This house is for theives. Obviously my brothers character wasnt a full theif, but he made it the top of the house anyway. They are located in your first big town.

Remember, once you join a House, you cant simply just quit and jon another one. I dont remember the details, but I think that even if you are fired or something like that, that you have to plead forgivness intil your let back in, and even during that time you cant join another House.

I think this game was awsome, and if you loved this you should diffinatly try the PC version. I havent tired it, but my brother did and I saw some wicked looking houses on there. (They were free too)

This seems like a good coaster, or maybe a frisbee...38077

Ty from Oregon, USA says (8/Jan/2004):
Just to start things off, I would like to say that this game is NOT to be bought, but maybe borrowed from a friend... heh heh. You only have three attacks with your sword, the graphics are bad, and if you do one thing wrong you're on the run. I became "Drake the notorious outlaw" in a half hour. Does that seem right to you?! Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone was a better game. If you find something that is good about the game(other than being able to steal), contact me some way, and I will personally come to your house and slap some sense into you.

This game blows39382

A gamer from Pennsylvania, USA says (28/Feb/2004):
Two days ago, I would have said that this is the greatest game ever. I even recommended it to friends, (boy am I an idiot). After playing this game for 3 weeks, and trying to keep with the story line, I have arrived at a point in the game where I either have to kill the guy that I am suppose to talk to, or let him kill me. If I kill him, the world is doomed and the story is over. It would appear that my only option is to start over. In essence, I have just wasted 3 weeks a $$$ with this game.
