One Word Awesome | | Philip Michael Hebert from Bloomington In, USA says (31/Aug/2002): | I was never a UFC fan but a fighting fan I just happen to be. Now who ever that was that said it sucked and had bad graphics is a discrace to video games today, I mean the guy or gal is probably at home playing zelda for gamecube and we all know how those graphics are dont we friends. now its not a perfect 10 in every aspect but a 9.5 in the ones that aren't. Now I do recommend this game. I promise you will like it. See I own about 30 games for XBOX and thats my favorite one. And yes I only buy the best.
| this game sucks | | G-funk from Vancouver, Canada says (23/Jun/2002): | UFC tapout is horrible, matches only last a minute, there are very few moves and the graphics are an embarassment to xbox's capabilities. Unless you are a big time fan of UFC, don't even bother renting this game. After you play it for an our, you'll probally never touch it again, except to return it. This game is one of the worst available for the box and disgraces all wrestling games. WWF Raw wasn't good either, but compared to tapout, it is number one. I just can't wait for the new WWE game to come out (long live HOGAN, THE ROCK, and HBK)
| Worth waiting for | | Danny J from Dallas, TX, USA says (13/Mar/2002): | loved the first attempt on Dreamcast, and anxiously awaited Xbox release.. not to be dissappointed, either. I had no complaints with Sega's version, and it was brought, along with better play and graphics, to the xbox. Hidden characters make the gameplay more exciting head to head (Ice T is a riot). Only problem i ever had with UFC was no quick rematch option in versus mode, and the fact that if youre not playing against a friend, it loses single player addiction quite soon. Technically, its flawless, and when you and your friend go head to head, as experienced gamers, the action becomes quite an enjoyable, counter-grappling, catching, ducking, two way traffic, chop-saki style brawl. Kudos to the makers.... only possibe suggestions would be more ground mount grappling variations.
