Man what are you guys talking about this game is so great it doesn't have enough stars to put how great this game is before i get every game i always try to find stuff on it 1 people saying that nba 2k2 is better are you nuts look u bet the computer to easy on 2k2 u lose them to easy the nets don't look real shaq dont even look 300 madden 2002 ain't got $#< remove me > at ! on this game like i said i review games before i pay for it nba inside drive 2003 is going to let u retire in the hall of fame in every give u a trophy case for your trophies nba inside games are the best games u can play on nba 2k2 computer will dunk all over shaq on hear that ain't going shaq looks like he ways 300 that sucker is big come on nba 2k2 is weakbut i'll tell u something if u don't agree i will agree with u on nba2k3 u can play people across the continet but if nba inside drive2003 comes out with a dunking contest i promise u that nba2k3 will nevr be a game interest so go to walmart or any store and get this game trust me

Realistic moves, and yes you actually have to set up plays to be successful at this game. Strong AI on All Star level. Play the Lakers.. dare you to stop Kobe and Shaq. I love how this game gives you lots of freedom to set picks, juke and jive and yes pick and roll, fade aways, baseline moves, and alley oops. Warning: If you don't pull up your pass icons you will turn the ball over alot. So don't gripe just do it. My only gripe is no glass shattering back boards, but you can bend the rim. Moves take a while to master, and dunks are sorta random, but you can start your move far outside the paint and finish nicely. Vince Carter is a GOD in this game. verall it's the best I've ever played. Graphics are strong as well. I love Microsoft's sport games. Now it's off to try NBA2k2! Peace

After renting this game, I got say it was not as good as the others. NBA live is more fun and has many more options. There is not create a player option, and to trade people it takes forever. The game play itself is some what bad too, it does feel real but the computer is too easy to beat. It was worth the rent.

I am going to stay simple with this review. I really like NBA Inside Drive. This game is bold enough to go ap against the leading compatition and works hard at getting its followers. believe anything to be better than EA's Live series (and seriously who dosen't)and I think it is slightly under NBA 2k series. I really enjoy the comentary given in ID. I have seldom heard the same thing repeated even after playing back to back games. The dunks, which I feel are the highlight of the game are not of a wide variety but they do give you a feel of power and destruction (glass shattering please?). As far as graphics, all three basketball games look good but I have to say the only thing about the ID characters is that when they clap they look like they have feathers for hands. Players also look heavily sedated and it makes for a nice game of monster mash. The detail is superb and I find that the arenas, jerseys and sideline are another big part of this game.
The gameplay...what can I say, Microsoft themselves need to work on how their sport games play, I never can defend as much as I would like to (I am a defensive person over being offensive). People who pull down more rebounds than average, don't seem to duplicate their real life counterparts (shaq) and I find this to be frustrating.
Closing this, I would like to say this to the creators of Inside Drive, Offense wins games, but Defense wins championships.

The game is great because you can do one on one like michael jordan versus wilt chamberlain and other greats from the 60s 70s 80s and 90s. plus that have tight cross overs and wild dunks
