There are three reasons why I brought this game, 1) It was on classics (half the normal price!!!) 2) I like James Bond games. 3) I like EA games. But, it turns out it was rubbish. The grapics aren't very good. They spent so much time making the faces look real they forgot to do anything else, like water or fire. No good.
the gameplay isn't good at all. The AI is ridiculous. Enemies just stand there shooting and hardly realise your shooting their brains to peices. Also, there's a problem with enemy resistance. At the start of the game one shot in the head and they're dead, like in real life. And as in real life, you have to shoot their arms until they die of blood loss (no blood in James Bond though). But as it gets later in the game the enemies get harder. In the end if you shoot someone between the eyes with armour-peircing 44mm sniper rounds they nod once and get back to buisness. ??????????!!! In the last level your faced with invincible enemies with huge guns and the boss doesn't die.
And besides of which, why are there human bosses? And why do you fight Block twice and the second time he's stronger than his exact clone?
To be honest, this game is more fake than the first Evil Dead movie. (Trust me, it is fake, you can tell). Don't waste your time with this one. My copy already sits on the shelf saying "Pre-owned" So should yours if you have any taste in games.

I rated this game a 2 because there was nothing great.As soon as the first level was over i thought it might get better, but it didnt.When I was in the car levels i thought it was ok but the graphics kinda sucked.The sound was horrible!they played the theme song the whole game except when there were only sound affects.When i started to get to the higher levels i got really fustrated because it took like 50 shots to kill one guy the stood there not running.The gameplay was poor since pretty much every boss you killed you had to kill another time when out found out they had a clone.The fun factor of this game was probibly a 4 out of 10 becuase it seemed like every person in the whole world was after you and still couldnt kill you.The last level was so fake i had to laugh.I would snipe a guy and he would brush it off like a scratch.I think the only good part about this game was when you could snipe in to see the hologram of the lady in the shower.Do not waste your money on this game!

This game is by far the best ps2 game that i have. though i haven't tried halo yet. Anyways, the number1 reason i like this game is the missions on single player. Ilove them all. The graphics are pretty good, especially when nigel block dies. HOLEY MOLEY!!! those are wicked! I don't really like the music, but i can live with it. Multiplayer is cool to. The one setback is the slowness of the bullets and the fact that you can stand so close to an enemy to kill them. And the switching weapons thing. uggh! Other than that, it is great! The fun factor is an 9. The best mission is precious cargo and forbidden depths. I just love that ka-57S gun! The weaponery is amazng. i like every gun except the ingalls. the p2k and defender look exactly like a real life handgun. My personal faviourite gun is definetly, by far , the PS100. That is wicked it sounds like a laser when it goes off and it is accurate and extremely powereful. It is a key gun in the posiedon mission. WOW! The weapon rate is a 10. I like the life/health thing. I only wish that you could stay alive longer after being shot with only about 10 bullets. And the people you rescue, like the alluring zoe nightshade, shouldn't die if they accidentally get shot. Like in the "trouble in paradise" mission. I was just blasting away at this guy with my ks7 machine gun, and across the way, some of the bullets hit zoe and she died, causing me to fail the mission by accident. Otherwise, this is a phenomanal game and it is like no other james bond game ever made. WOW!!!!!

I would have to say this game is very good. I am going to get 007 nightfire. The graphics I give a 7. The single player was quite short. Multi-Player is the best. Goldeneye was quite weird in how even when you died you still had the blood you had before you died. The games' escort map is sooooo funny. Me and my friends always get ran over by the trains. My friends' favourite weapon is the photon cannon whille mine is the SSR 4000. I suggest you buy this game if you like 007. I havent beaten it yet but that is because I am not so good. The sound is great. I hink there is a good variety of weapons. I really think the graphics when 007 finds the tank and Nigel Bloch dies are almost real

The guns and gadgets where terrible there where hardly any gadgets and the weapons stunk it takes like 580 shots to kill a guy. and the x-ray glasses where so fake they can see only through certain parts of a wall and the other parts which is stupid and you can’t through peoples clothes like in the movie, and the parts like when Nigel block die has good graphics but the game its self has terrible graphics. If I where the graphics designer at EA I would make the death of block the same as the whole game wouldn't you?

Yeah ive been reading, and i would have to sat the samething the AI aren't very good, but if you got some buddys to play Multiplayer then thats when it gets fun! I really didn't get into the actually game to much. I like it better than the N64 Golden Eye..

Do not fall for the flashy colours and patterns on the cover of this game... It is absolutely PATHETIC! The enemy AI is bad, all of the textures (including the people) look as though they were modelled off of lego bricks or something... and the bullets go as slow as they do in the Matrix! It is stupid the way all of your enemies happily stand three feet away and fire until you kill them! The weapons look as though they were drawn on a piece of paper and coloured in for the actual game! It Sucks!

James Bond is a fantastic game for teens 12+. This is an excellent choice to get your teen. There is no gore in this game. The rating is what it should be T for team. This game has multiplayer and regular playings on it. You can choose from 5+ games for multiplayer with the choices of Combat Training, Protect The Flag, or Diffuse The Bombs. This is a fantastic game

I have to admit that I'm not a James Bond fan. In fact, I've never actually had the patients to sit through one of the movies. That aside, I loved the game. It has different difficulty levels to choose, the graphics were good, and I had a hard time putting down my controller. Lots of cool stuff to do and you can wander around the levels looking for other neat stuff. I loved the claw, which zips you up in a flash to higher spots, great weapons, great challenges, and hey...I just can't say enough good things about this game. I loved sneaking through the air ducts, targeting the enemies and blasting them away while hiding. Very fun game, wish there were more like this one. Rent it, if this review doesn't make you a believer. You wont be bored playing this one!

This game is the perfect james bond game! You could almost do everything, you can drive a car, you can drive a tanks, and you can of course walk around and kill people. And the graphics! Oh, god the graphics! it is just one word that fits in here: PERFECT! :-)

This game is horrible! The AI are cheap, the textures are bad, and when you shoot an ai, theres no blood or injury apparent on it. Plus, the levels are horrible and unreal, not to mention pedestrians always seem to avoid your speeding car...

This game just blows away the others. Goldeneye on the N64 was addicting, and so was Tomorrow Never Dies. The World is Not Enough... eh, it's ok, but Agent Under Fire is just the one we have all been waiting for. Think about it, guns, cars, and women, what more do you want? Oh yea, plus multiplayer. Ah, multiplayer... Anyway, there are a few minor setbacks. The biggest ones are weapon/gadget switch and bullets. The switching of weapons gets a little hard to get used to... And the bullets are slower then my grandmother, plus most guns in the game are inaccurate, and I'm a marksmanship gun kind of guy. But, just because there are setbacks, doesn't mean the game is horrible. I love multiplayer, using the Q-claw and flying around like spider-man (literally) and fireing your AR's grenade launcher and setting Prox mines and Trip mines (my fav). The game is a buy. My opinion is, rent first.

WOW WOW WOW this game is great it has great graphics and if you like james bond music it has great music. I've played golden eye which is just about the same thing except it is for n 64. The missions are fun but some are hard i'm happy they have difficulty levels. The multiplayer is my favorite part you can blast away at your friends with guns. This game is defineitely worth buying, I love it.

This game is my second favorite out of the 8 I have. (And many more I have played) It has a great singleplayer with awesome graphics. The multiplayer is also great. The problems that I have with the game so far is that the weapon / gadget switching is a hastle. For example, if you have your PPk out and you want to switch to grenades, you have to fumble through a huge list of guns that you are carying and find it. While you are being shot at from all sides. Another major dissipiontment is the sniping weapon. It only can shoot 1 time before it needs to reload (5 sec reload time). Then when you are zoomed in, you cant walk. you must stay in your position. Me, I prefer the sniper in Halo (The greatest game on the earth.) Before rambling on i must tell you about the meaning of sensual themes. (I'll keep it clean) In one mission you walk in a room and see a girl changing behind a screen. In another, you see a hollogram of a girl behind glass taking a shower. Don't worry Parents, it's not too bad. There is no blood, so this should appeal to the younger croud too. The sound is ok if you like the theme music from james bond. It plays over and over but its not overly redundant. The gameplay incorperates many different playing feilds and is put togather well. The driving missions are my favorite.(Especially with Unlimited Rockets unlocked) There are three levels of difficulty so the game lasts a while. The multiplayer is good too with many coustimizations available. One other bad thing about the game is that it only has four preset controler settings that cant be changed. The fun factor is about a 8. I generally like FPS's that move fast and include many powerful guns. This game is pretty fast moving while some parts take more thinking. It is not very origional if you have watched the Bond movies. The plot has to do with Clones trying to take over the world.(Where have i seen that before?)A minor setback to a great game. This game is worth the 5o bucks but if you dont believe me, go rent it yourself.
