This game is in a league of its own. Normally I dont have the patience to play a game for a long period of time, but this game is both exciting and scary... The graphics and sounds are enough to make you quiver. The moves in which you use to defeat your opponents are moves that Buffy herself would use in the actual tv show. The quirky puns that she is known for have been thrown into the game making the game more and more like the actual show. Having the game based in Buffy's thrid season, gives other characters that are no longer on the show the opportunity to once again be apart of the team again. Fighting the demons are challenging enough, but then the obstacles that are in it add to the tension of the game, so you need your ability to kick demon butt, but you also need directional and aiming skills in order to complete nearly every level. Finally, majority of the time, if you wish to clock this game, you have to have two things. 1st is faith, have faith in your slayer & you'll go a long way, nothing is as it seems. Secondly, have fun, cause if you're not having fun saving the world then what would be the point of playing any game.

Buffy is a great game packed with tons of fighting and platforming.The best thing is the way it all fits in with the programme.The good points of the game is the graphics it is extremely detailed,the action never gets boring although on hard mode it can be tiring as all vampires and Demons are continuously blocking and it is hard to get a move in edgeways although on easy mode it is easy to kill a large vantity of vampires or demons as you have the opion of using the spin attack.The bad point to the the game is the fact that Buffy cannot swim entering deep water will automatically drown her which is very annoying as when a vampire or a demon enters deep water it has no effect on them at all and sometimes they jump in the water while you can't get to them and then they heal and then come back out and use powerful attacks to hit you.All in all the game has brillant gameplay,platfoming and action,a game you should definetly buy or rent.If you buy it and complete it use cheats to liven it up a bit.

I was waiting for the release of Buffy on Xbox for a long time, i finally got to play it, and am now hooked. Its easily one of the best Action/Adventure games i have ever played, and one of the best titles on Xbox. From the opening credits to the actual gameplay, it feels like you are watching an episode of Buffy. Music, Giles, Willow, Xander even Buffy's usual one-liners are here. From the first level, being the standard training level, to sunnydale high, Graphics, Sound and Control are all of high standards. Only one small problem is evident, as with all games of this Genre, there are slight camera issues that can cause some small control problems. The camera issues aside, if you are a Buffy or Action/Adventure game fan, grab this game. I was hooked from opening sequence, and can't wait to get back to playing it.

Buffy is what X-Box gamers have been waiting for. It's by far the best game yet for the console. Buffy's got it all ; great graphics, easy gameplay, fast-paced action, killer combo moves, increasingly difficult levels, and some interactive backgrounds. I picked up the controller and couldn't put it down because the game was not only easy to play, but totally satisfying. Within ten minutes of playing it, I was slaying vamps in a manner that Buffy herself would have admired. And if that's not enough to convince you to play it, then listen to this : honestly, I never really watched the show before playing the game. Most people played the game because they watch the show ; I started watching the show because I played the game !

Buffy has very awsome wepons and levels. It is just like the T.V show. I am glad I picked this game over another game at the store. It took me a long time but beat the whole game without cheats. I recomend this game to gamers that like fighting games. The game is very fun to play. Stakeing vampires is very fun.Here is a cheat for people that like the game. CHEAT:To get arena 1,2,3, and 4 go to the extras menu and press Y,Y,White,Black,Black,Y,Y,Y,Y,Y,White,Black.NOTE:You can play two player if you prees START on the second padle when the demon or vampire come out then you can be the vampire or demon.

This game is the greatest. The graphics are amazing and the demons actually looked evil. I love how Buffy slices and dices through the big brooding evils. I also love her puns such as
"little pigs, little pig, aww never mind i'll find another way in." Truly fantastic.I couldn't take my eyes off her wicked moves. Of course they would probably come up with some better apocalypses if Xander had both eyes,Willow was still driving stick, and Anya wasn't dead. The other best character who should have been in the game was Faith, the slutty slayer.
Keep on saving the world.

I specifically bought an xbox for this game, and I am glad I did!! This has to be the best one player game ever made...I literally played from it from start to finish. Their were moments of excitment and shock ...just as if I was watching the show.They capture the feel of the show perfectly..I only wish other companies would put that much dedication into a game! It even got my girlfriend, who hates videogames to start playing , and now I have to beg to get her attention.
Thank you for such a great game. I can't wait for whats next!?

Buffy the Vampire Slayer combines awesome graphics with a great storyline which makes it a great game but even better to long-time fans of the show because it includes all your favorite Buffy characters Willow,Xander,Giles,Spike,Coridally and Angel. Buffy is a fun and entertaining game to play and it never bores.
The sound is also great such as the voiceover for all the characters is from the actual actors from the show expect for Buffy's voice. Buffy is a great game for any kind of gamer!

oh my god all I have to say what a waste of the xbox's hardware not to mention the major slow downs in the game and the repetive fighting styles are a joke. Once the game is beaten you do not want to go through it again. But if your a fan you'll love the fact the setting was when they were in highschool and has all the cheesy puns buffy normally says but hey the voice is not sarah michelle gellar but if I had to rate it, it would be a 6 and a half out of 10

From the opening sequence to the actual gameplay, this game is amazing. Apart from the noticeably absent voice of miss Gellar, this as close to Sunnydale as any of us will ever get. Everything is detailed, right down to the slayer 101 intro by Giles. The action is superb with dozens of combos as well as an ambiance the rivals even Resident Evil (complete with it's on zombies). I easily give this a 10 and would vote this as a possible game of the year!

Buffy The Vampire Slayer is a sick game!! The action in the game was awesome. Some of Buffy's lines are a little bit cheesey, but most of them are actually funny though. the animation in the game is amazing!! buffy does sound alot like like Sara Michelle Gellar, but sara Michelle does not do the voice for Buffy. The All the weapons are tight. if youre a Buffy fan you WILL like the game, i am a buffy fan and I LOVED IT!!

damn good game. i hate 1 player games but this one rocks ass. i couldnt stop playing and there are so many levels, 55 including 7 library levels. and after ur done just use the arena code and get arena mode and fight whoever u want whenever u want. plus arena mode is multi player and u can actually also play coopertive story mode with cheats. i luv kick'n the evil buffy's ass.

I LOVED the game. I am a hardcore Buffy fan, and that game was perfect. It had everything and anything you want in a game. The graphics are amazing, as is the sound and everything else imaginable. It was great seeing the high school and seeing the gang again, and to be Buffy was so damn great. I loved it and it diserves a 10 out of 10

I only gave it a 3 because it's Buffy. Other than that the most repetitve and cheap shot game I've EVER played. Been playing it for 3 hrs now...at Bronze level, died about 40 times. SCREW this game. It's going right back to Blockbuster and will NEVER be rented again. Halo shames this garbage into the dirt.

I'm also a hardcore Buffy fan and I loved the game! I was so happy I got to see the scoobies again! They did a great job on everything! well I dont know how anyone could say anything but good things about this game. It has all the things a good video game needs to be exciting, entertaining and at the same time dificult. I think it looks good and feels great to play, there are ample fighting combos and the story line is good too.

It's like seeing a whole new season of the show. The game is awesome. The graphics are great and they have the cast of the show doing the voices so it makes it even better. If your a die hard Buffy fan you will love this game. I know I do!
