Your crazy not to like this game! |

When I first bought NBA 2K2 i thought it would be another game that would be good for the first week or so and then get boring but I've had the game from the day it came out and it still hasn't gotten boring. The funnest part of the game is playing street or a game against a friend. I think this game should be able to be played online against other people. THe only part I didn't like about the game is taht there is no Slam Dunk Contest or 3-Point shoot out but other than taht it's a very good game!

If you don't own this, you don't like Basketball video games |

NBA 2K2 is without question the hottest basketball game EVER!! The new little details in the animations are sick! The cpu AI is unbelievably smart and will exploit any patterns that you choose to stick with. If you like to take Kobe Bryant and get him 100 pts a game, play Live. This cpu will adjust the D and lock him down! Learn to pass. Ball movement is essential. You can learn all your teams plays in the practice scrimmage mode, which works out wonderfully in the games if you know what you're doing. The post game could have been a little cleaner by letting you select what move you do off the block, but most of the time (7 out of 10) he'll make the proper choice of hook, dunk, turn around J, or lay-up. The players continue to run when they catch the ball on the break for a smoother transition game and alley oops are cpu controlled. This is good because you won't throw an alley oop out of bounds, and guys can't just lob it up to the big man on every possession. Graphics, gameplay, fluid animations and plenty of features (create a player, street ball, fantasy drafts, etc.) If there is anything wrong with this game, it isn't enough to make me settle for any of the other pitiful b-ball titles available. NBA 2K2-Greatest Of All Time!!

Almost the best game ive ever played |
| Cullen Unger from Martinsburg, WV USA says (28/Feb/2002): |
I was please with this game (as I am with all the NBA 2K games) but was a little let down by a couple of small things that could make this game a 10. First, there is no certain button (or combination of buttons) that lets you throw an ally oop. Now you just throw one when you pass to a player close to the basket and open enough for an easy oop. In the Dreamcast versions you could press a combination of buttons and throw an ally oop any time. If you were close enough and he was open it would go work if not the ball would go flyin out of bounds. Second, it seems alot harder to block shots on this version compared to NBA 2K1 for Dreamcast. Finally, (this is kinda minor but in my opinion whould make it better) the players all have the same shoes one except Iverson. That is the only advantage Live has. In Live they have all types of different shoes. This game is still worth buyin and playin with friends for endless hours.
