personally i thought that it was the best car game i have ever played. the grapics are amazing and the courses are some of the best i have ever seen on a game. the handeling is almost like the real thing it give me an adrenlin rush like when i race cars in real life. i have been playing this game since i got it and i am still not tired of it yet. me and the guys play for hours and we all think that this is the best.

The thing that'sa unavoidabl when discussing Rallisport is that visually this is possibly the most staggering game yet released in any genre on any format. Gamecube and PS2 are both capable of amazing stuff, but if ever there was proof that Xbox can go that step further then this is it. The sun reflects off the road surface, the cars are almost pixel perfect recreations of the real things and the game whips along without a hint of slowdown or pop-up. Thankfully it's not just eye candy. A great looking game will drop jaws, but as Wreckless proved it has to cut the mustard in the gampeplay department too, and Rallisport delivers. The play style reminds me more of Sega Rally than Colin McRae, with fast, furious arcade action and handling that gives thrills, powerslides and a real feeling of control over your car. The courses are brilliantly designed on the whole, with hills, jumps, crests, tunnels and stunningly varied scenery, and although there are some drab environments that's mainly due to sheer volume. The career mode lets you compete in a wide variety of events, split across hillclimb, rally, ice racing and rally cross styles, which offer both McRae style point-to-point time trials and full on wheel-to-wheel action against three CPU opponants. The lack of lots of rivals is a flaw, but an understandable one given the games genius in other areas. Ultimately, this tucks in just ahead of Project Gotham Racing and Moto GP to head the Xbox racing genre. In fact, at the moment only Halo could justifiably claim to be a better game on the Xbox. Play it and believe it!

I'd would love to play that idiot in a 2-player game in Rallisport because I would definitely stripe him. He definitely doesn't know a thing about rally racing. This is most definitely THE BEST rally game ever and the most realism next to being the real thing. The guy in the car next to you is your co-driver he's suppose to tell you whats coming up because everything comes up so fast. Unlike PGR it isn't on a flat paved track the entire time, there are hills, mountains, dips, jumps, very sharp curves and most of all dirt. This game is PGR on dirt.

It is obvious that he does not know too much about Rally racing because he did not like the fact that you race against the clock instead of other cars. WHAT DO YOU THINK THEY DO IN REAL LIFE?!?! As far as the driving goes, I have never played a more realistic car game before. I don't think that there is any room for improvement on that aspect of the game. He was clearly exaggerating when he said that the game resets you every time you go off the track. That is not true, in fact, the game incourages you to go off the track in order to cut corners and get better lap times. I would recommend this game to anyone who likes racing games. Good Job Microsoft.

This game has great detail. The landscapes are tremendous. On the safari courses you can see horses in the background. Contrary to the person before this. The handling is decent. It does get hairy, but every game gets hairy sometimes. You just have to balance the brake and the gas. It is a good game and a worthy buy. You will not have buyers remorse.

I've been waiting for this game to come out and after playing it for a total of about 3 hours, I'm completely bored with it. The gameplay is terrible in that the car resets too fast if you go off the track. Unlike PGR, it doesnt have any type of free roam so the game automatically resets your car on the track if you go the slightest bit off course. Also, the handling of the cars is terrible. If you brake the slightest bit too much, your car spins out and if you dont brake enough, you go off the track and your car is reset. Except for the ice racing, you're basically on the track by yourself competing against other car's times and not the actual cars themselves. As far as choices of cars, there's quite a few but most must be unlocked in career mode similar to PGR. From what little I've seen, the "better" cars dont offer much more than the original ones. The graphics are very good and the sound is alright, except for the annoying guy in your car directing you through whats ahead. I've read nothing but good previews about this game saying it would set a new level for race games on the Xbox, but this game is an absolute joke. Project Gotham Racing is still the king by FAR.
