]Now to the Review of UNREAL Championship for XboX[
This game is fast, furious, fun, and UNREAL. I first got interested in UNREAL when i bought UNREAL tournement for PS2. That game was awesome, so when i found out it was coming to tha boX, i said "your mother knows how to use her tounge really well!". But at that time i was strapped for loot, so i waited and waited and waited until it hit the twenty dollar price tag. When it did i knocked out the clerk and broke the display glass. I screamed UNREAL and grabbed a UNREAL championship game and left Target in a nintendo ultra 64 induced rage. So when i got home i put in it. UNREAL Championship is a great addition to the UNREAL series. It is very different then UNREAL Tournement. Better in most areas, and worse in one. Another thing about UNREAL Championship is it has a limited amount of levels and should have the levels from UNREAL Tourement also.
There is no real solid story behind UNREAL Championship, but there doesn't need to be one. This game is about first person insane death battles and the gameplay layers over the small story element. If you like killing people first person style and playing with some friends then you will like this game bro.
Graphics - 10
The graphics are slick and polished. While you run through the different arenas the graphics really shine. The graphics are just stunning (serious my friend Ducan had one of those video game comas while eyeballing the eygptian arena and saying "Whoa that's some crazy graphics Twad")(Twad is my other friend) So be carefull. What else can I say about the graphics except as previously stated they are second best to Halo.
Weapons - 7
Weapons are always important in FPS. The reason UNREAL Championship got a seven is because it seems they dumbed down the weapons and tried to make it a simple selection. What i mean by this is they added two new guns but didn't include three from UNREAL Tournement. The double pistols, the saw blade gun, and the sniper rifle. WHY??? That was stupid and let me down and im sure other UNREAL Tournement fans down also. But the weapons they did include from the last were all upgraded for the better but feel dumbed down. The weapons are all still awesome. Don't let the 7 fool you, even though they didn't include three guns from UNREAL Tournement the weapons are still good and plently.
Everything Else - 100%
This game is the in the top five best games out now for XboX on my list and is fun to play with a group of friends (prefablly females that will strip each time they get fragged). The graphics are great, the levels are great, The fun factor is strong, and the replay value is also very strong (like my pelvis muscule b*tc*).
Get this game sissy and stop trying on your mothers underwear!
P.S. - If you are a < remove me > at $$clown they don't get this game get some RPG with faries in it

This has to be one of the most amazing games ive ever played for my xbox. Graphics are a 4 thumbs up, well, if i had that many thumbs. The amount of characters is amazing. The maps are nice and large for good games and matches but, whatever happened to the 5000 other maps from unreal tournament? I have all of the unreals for computer except for Unreal 2 and i have seen great improvements from each version to the next. In normal Unreal, there were monsters to kill in single player which were stupidly removed with bots who have 0 skill in Unreal Tournament even at godly skill mode. From Unreal Tournament to Unreal Tournament 2003, guns were improved, as long as amount of characters, but again. Where are all the maps from UT? Gone, gone for good sadly, unless they are back in Unreal 2. Ubisoft made another version, Unreal Chamionship for the XBox. I have gotten the chance to borrow this from my friend in trade for NHL 2k3. The graphics are pure amazing. Amount of characters is great, models, eye shattering, amount of guns, wow. I was suprised to see that brock and laruen from the intro were not in the starting list of characters. Im still working on getting them through the tournament mode. I love the maps and textures in them. They are nicely sized, not too big, not too small. But where are the maps from unreal tournament. I see like 2 or 3 that were carried over from UT, but where are the rest. Where are the custom maps and long lists for each and every type of game. Where is the no time limit on instant action? Ill tell u where. It was never put in. The game was rushed like a previous reviewer said. If they spent a little more time on it, maybe there would be more maps, and no time limit. Maybe even more characters and guns. Overall i give this game 9 stars. Graphics-great Guns and animations-WOW! Character list and stats-makes it worth the while to learn to master Maps-amazing textures and size but not nearly enought to have fun on, or to have a favorite, mutators-kinda useless, they dont do much for the game and it needs more. this game is one of the best and when i say best i mean it,its over the top GRAPHICS are just as good or even better then halo or timesplitters 2,the Bang Bang Bang that rings through your ears is top notch listening to and i drool everytime i here something or someone dying in the background.
Now down to the gameplay everyone i listen to says that for a good game its not the graphics that count, its the gameplay well what can i say the game play is outstanding if ya got a couple of mates to bam bam bam with other than that ya can play the single for a day or two but gets awfully boring if ya dont have a mate or two.
the Fun factor well what can i say i play this game from dusk till dawn and then some. Its awesome fun fun fun bam bam bam slash slash slash o i died owell lets play again.
The originality isn't brand spanking new but what can i say that dosen't matter when ya are having so much fun.
The life span of this clasic of a game i whould have to say ya just cant get enough hacking and slashing out of a game that last generations.

P.S just remember to have a great deal of fun in this great game ya gota have a couple of mates over for the night other wise it does get a bit boring on ya own,

This is a great all around game. The graphics are amazing, the guns are new and original (especially the T.A.G. rifle), and the sound is great. Unreal Championship does things right. It has many different characters to choose from to suite any and all tastes you might have and i really liked the whole gaining ability attribute. The action is very fast paced which keeps you on the edge of your seat through the whole game. I like how headshots are not easy to get but not far out of reach either in this game. I've even seen my bots do it. The game can get pretty hard sometimes if you dont use your bots right, especially on double domination but thats what makes this game great. You need to know how to use them and play them out to your advantages. This game has a good replay value because you can make up so many different possible teams. And the multiplayer is incredible, its a lot more fun when you have another human mind to fight against rather than the bots though. I brought it down though because its only four players tops unless you go online. That just messes it up when i get together with 5 of my friends and we have to keep rotating the controllers around. Over all though i thought this game was great and if you like 1st person shooters this is the game for you.

UC is definetely one of a kind. Smooth graphics and plenty of action nicely mixed to create an interesting gameplay that allow people without experience in the Unreal series jump into the action. Balanced races to choose from and weapons for every taste and strategy are main features of UC. DOn't try to compare Halo with UC since they are 2 different genre games. Halo is The Huge FPS for the single player fan, while UC is unique for the multiplayer fan. In some areas Halo is definetely inferior to UC, example: when you shoot somebody in the head with the Shotgun they just bleed when everybody with a working brain could tell that it should be nasty. UC reachs a higher level of reality talking about gore than Halo.
UC rewards violent players using Homo sapiens Tarantis or medusae by regenerating them according to the damage they inflict in their victims, while in Halo the typical shoot and hide strategy is more ideal. If you want a violent FPS multiplayer with interesting gore (realism for genre experts) UC is what you are looking for, if you want a single player action Halo is your best call. Both games provide beautiful graphics and the framerate is not very different. If you are looking for a unique Xbox live game Unreal Championship is the answer.

This game is solid in most catagories but I do have some complaints. The frame rate is really low and that is not a good thing in a game this fast and hectic. The AI is a little bit easy. This game gets boring really fast until you get on Xbox Live. Now for the good stuff. The graphics are very good for a next-gen console but for the Xbox they are just good. If you like the style of gameplay then you will love this. It is very fast so if you like a slower plotting, scheming style game this isn't for you (though you will probably like it anyway, it is hard not to). Multi-player, multi-player and more multi-player. This game is second only to Halo in the multi-player area. If you don't have Xbox Live yet then go get it, or atleast organize a System Link party. I cannot wait for downloadable content for this bad boy. If you are looking for a slower, less mindless shooter, go with Ghost Recon (very good game also), if you just want a high energy, guns-a-blazin', frag fest, get 'em both (why not? they are both good). Again, this game does have problems but I think you will be able to see through those to the great game that lies below.

I love the way it's a quick game. You die, you respawn and you're ready to kick some guys out there. It's sure that sometimes, you can just stand behind a wall and wait for someone to shoot him with your lightning gun, but somebody would arrive fast from behind and kill you with rocket or etc...
I very like the survival mode....very easy in big map(refer to winter map) but difficult in mini-maps....
What I VERY DISLIKE is that we need more options!!!! Like : How bots do you want in your game? Can we put some bad guys with very best bots? Also, bots in professionnal mode are not difficult....there's just impossible to beat....all time they shot they hit you and kill you,blabla......I said same thing for last level in halo and now it's easy...
Other very big dislike: When you play with someone(split-screen), you add him to your game and now one team is one more than the other....IMBALANCE!!! ...or it's me that don't know how to do correct MP (split-screen). If it's me....contact me by e-mail....
UC is a very good fast game...the best on XBOX and I just can't wait to have XBOX live!!! 10 out of 10

Having only an 830 Celeron and a TNT 2 my chances for running Unreal 3 was pretty
Slim, so I was pleased when Unreal Championship was released and I saw that Live enabled logo on the box, an instant buy I thought I think so. I was even more pleased to find that the live could be accessed with the Unreal disc, and that it was broadband compatible, and Telewest were doing X-Box live in my area. So I hooked up and never looked back. The game graphics are beautiful and to watch it run at such a smooth 60fps < remove me > at 60hz even online with a 4 ping and 16 characters was a cool sight. I will have to admit though the one player game is pretty poor and the whole purpose for this game is for online fun and trust me that’s what it is. This is the ultimate online experience to date with a whole array of different characters and wrapped up with stunning visuals and sound. The action is fast and pumping and with the communicator you can speak with another 3 people on selected channels. Its defiantly shows the X-Box live potential and should be in every owners collection.

Unreal Champ is a good game, however, it is no way as near as good as Halo as a previous reviewer has said. Unreal Champ seems like a very rushed game to me, and there is little difference from it's predecessor, Unreal Tournament. The guns and characters have been upgraded for the better, however the environments, although have hi-res textures, are not very immersive. Another HUGE down side to this game is the frame rate. For me, it is almost unplayable. To go from a smooth 60Hz game to Unreal Champ, hurts my eyes(!) The frame rate issue, together with slowdown during game, makes the game bearly playable -and i haven't even tried it on Live! yet!! There will however be a patch released for the game -which is something Microsoft have tried to avoid because the Xbox is supposed to be a 'console'. To poor salt into the gaping gash -the menu system is appallingly rushed and there seems to be little imagination in that department. I saw the game in alpha and assumed that it was a sample menu system!! An Atari game it is most not, Infrogrammes -well nuf said.

When i bought my xbox every body said get halo, so i did and i thought that the game was great, but when i bought Unreal Championship i thought it was the BEST! All these things kept running through my mind, Awesome graphics, great ideas for the guns, great sound,it didn't even get boring to play.I had never played any other Unreal game(like Unreal tournament)before this game,but all my friends told me that i should play them. but, I didn't so when this came out i thought that i would either rent it or buy it. but, i was going to get a new game anyway, so i bought it and loved it to death(not literally). Me and my friend played it for 7 hours straight, No stoping for food occasionally drinks but by the end of the day we were Square eyed to the max.
I think that if anyone want a really, really great FPS(first person shooter)game this is the game to get.You would be a fool not to.

Most of the maps are pretty tiny as well. Menus/Player Options - What the hell happened to difficulty levels?! You can't make the game any harder!! Also, it can be a pain in the a** trying to set up a multiplayer game, because the creators couldn't put a "Multiplayer" button on the Main Menu. Xbox Live - Awesome, but most of the maps are too small to have alot of people.

My eyes are bleeding, this game is so fast...the graphix are amazing...especialy the maps...but thats not saying the characters are rubbish, because there not...there all very distinct and different...like jugernaughts, very slow and cant jump high but my god there almost indestructable. the sound is ear pleasingly awsome..and the gameplay speaks for itself (truely groungbreaking) ...the game itself could last forever thanks to its ace multiplayer (split screen) and live option(when its releaced that is). even though not masively original...it is incredably fun and never gets boring...as long as youve got a couple of mates...again thanks to its multiplayer split screen....all x-box owners out there ive got 5 words for you...YOU MUST BUY THIS GAME!!

i recon unreal championship is the 2nd best game ever because you can just play over and over again also uc has the best graphics just under halo's.
its also fun to run round on ctf (capture the flag) nick there flag then run away get the iron cannon and blow everyone up so your score just gous up and up and then there is just no stopping you.
i think they should change a few things like create your own bots and customise weapons stuff like that would get more people to play they should also try to get jeeps and turrets that would make it more interesting to see a bot to try to get your flag just then they get gunned down by an auto cannon.

If you are going to buy this game, make sure you buy Xbox Live along with it. Xbox Live makes this game what it is. Even without Xbox Live, the game is great but you'll be sure to have the most fun with Live. Create your own profile and challenge the world to a deathmatch, join an online clan to take on other teams in team deathmacth, bombing run(great idea), double domination, and of course capture the flag. The arenas are great and the graphics are also excellent. Make sure you have high speed broadband internet before buying Live! Oh, and when you get Live, look for 'Stellus' he'll soon be kicking your < remove me > at $$!

This game is just so freaking fun because you got different Alienesk species. You also get to control everything about the game i.e. speed, difficulty, weapons, gravity, etc. in atleast "quick match" (I think that's the name of it) I just get a feel of pure fun from this game because you have unlimited lives and stuff. I never personally play as a human because the 1 time I did she sucked so now I play as the youngest member of the Kangarooish looking aliens and even though I suck at fps I can beat matches against "god-like" bots.
1 more thing this IS about 9000000times BETTER then $#< remove me > at !ing HALO

Damn... Few games can compare to this. The graphics, sounds and split-second game play make this one of the best Xbox games to date. The single player is fairly quick and straight forward but fustrating at times when bots are on godlike. The best way to play when by yourself is the instant action mode. It just drops you in with a few bots and you go. As far as Xbox live goes you just log on punch in a name and off you go. If you're live enabled this game is a must get otherwise just borrow it or wait until the price drops. Better than Halo in multiplayer but worse in single player.

This game is one my favorite games because the multiple arenas, the weapons, the characters, Bombing Run and Capture the Flag..those kinds of things other games only wish they had.
The graphics for one thing is the best I've seen for an X-Box game(Halo being the only other exception). I've yet to get X-Box Live but I heared it's great with this game, so when I get the chance I'll check it out.
But other than that if your FPS fan this game is a must buy, don't rent first just buy..........Satisfaction Guaranteed!

terrible is the only word that fits this game. the graphics are terrible. when you kill people the explode into some lame liquid mess and then float away. the x box live part is terrible. this game is so frantic and stupid i dont see how it ever got to market. the guns are assanine, for example the plasma rifle and that stupid close range charge gun. it literally makes me angry to see something like this mucking up xbox's good name. this is a definate DO NOT BUY. even for the 12.99 i payed for it.

It was great to run around feeling as if you had the fate of someone or something else in your ammo clip. The graphics were astonishing, but I've seen better. It was packed with gameplay, but it was quite challenging at some points. The first game I bought when I got Xbox was Halo it was a great game, but this is better. The levels were awesome and the weaponry was very smooth. I encourage most people to purchase it, but this is not a childrens game!

Ah, nothing better than getting home from a long day and pulling outh your lightning gun and shooting peoples heads off. This is a definete step up from unreal's of the past, though closely resembles 2003 for the comp. This is one of my personal favorite games. You can't get a better fast pased non-mission based FPS, espicaly with such a high quality as the xbox provides for this game. I give it a nine cause nothing is perfect till Halo 2.
