Ok Knights has got to be one of the best games I have ever played. I love the fact that it is set 4000 years before the Empire. Something to my knoledge has not been done. The graphics where kicking considering how long it takes to beat it, or even without the considering. (laughs) I loved the game play the way that its based on turn base rules but you don't hardly really notice it. The way the game blockes and doges on its own rocks. Oooh and the way that you can just sit back and not have to read everything that someone says. Just listening is so frelling cool. I have been waiting for that. I preordered it like over a year before it even came out and was so scared that it would not be worth the wait, I have experienced that before and it blows, but not Knights. I put it in fired it up and form the first note of the original music to the to the rocking background fighting i new that they had finlly put out a game worth buying.

I think this game is excellent!!! Weapons,Characters,Items and more!This game has it all!Except more action you only find action in these levels.LOWER CITY,UNDERCITY,DATOOINE, and other levels.The level with the most action is STAR FORGE.Its kind of sick because Zallabar rips off a gorremen`s arm and eats it but spits it out.I like to beat up the BLACK VULKARS or the RAKGHOULS.I am a swordsplayer I like to use the EHANTI RITUAL SWORD or the VIBROBLADE.And I go heavily armed.(HEAVY COMBAT SUIT,HEAVY BLASTER and 62 medpacks.I don`t like BENDAK STARKILLER he`s to hard to beat.And sometimes Carth and Mission fight just because they call Mission a little kid.Also sometimes it gets complicating.I don`t know if I want to be a dark jedi or a light jedi.But heres a tip- before you start your death match against BENDAK STARKILLER, you'll earn dark side points.

KOTOR is the BEST Star Wars game out there, but for all the work they put into it for some reason they fell short at the end!! I couldn't believe that they had done 90% of the game perfectly and then (on their part) just seemed to finish it to get it out on the market.Examples: They should have given you a rating on how well you did, allowed you to carry credits,items over to your next game or at least given you bonus items for how much you accomplished!Don't get me wrong the game does have an excellent replay value and if you have XBOX Live you can download new things to the game!! I just wish that they would have made better and longer endings, allowed you to acquire certain items sooner than later and allowed you (in some way) to have been rewarded for all the time and effort you put into the game!! My over all rating is a 9!!!! Hope they do even better next time around. Aradyn Sith.

okay okay i thought it was good but there was just two many stuff ups in this game. like why is it when your kicking maliks ass in the laviathin he becomes even more powerful near the end like wasn't he ment to be already maxed out and the fighting was a bit dodge like how come you only can attack one person at a time or how you don't do many diffrent styles of moves like in jka how you have diffrent styles of fighting being able to change to have a better advantage over the apponate. why is it also that in all these starwars games you can't chose light or dark from the start and follow two different paths i think they should work on making a game like that, and one more thing you guys should stop dissing the dude who doesn't like this game its his opinion not yours i think he has a right to say what he thought of it. peace out.

Ok I represent the canadian point of view. This game has amazing graphics and the main plot is unbelivable all the hidden twists in the game. The game also gets pretty emotional. A summary of the the plot would go like this...
You a soldure of scoundrle or something like that and your ship is under atack. You get basic help from your room mate. He shoes you how to egupie weapond clothes and view your stats. You must the fight your way through some basic sith soldures.
You catch the last escape pod and you meet up with Carth. You then crashloand on a planet called taris. You compleet various quests in 1 of 3 levles. upper city,lower city,under city. Once you do most f that you then rescue the wounded jedi bastila. Then the game gets good.
You become a jedi. ill tell you more in my next review on the game twomarrow.

this game is really hard ( for me ) i just got the game 4 days ago and i am pretty far i like how u can choose each side. I chose the game for malak on the screen and the double light sabers, graghics and just STAR WARS. i bought the game at wal mart for $ 52.00 bucks. its allot but it is worth it. this game is one of my favorites. I have soround sound so the games music is loud and great. I gave it ********** stars for thew graphics people dark side , light side new pepole and can create ur own person, and more light saber action, and last of all ,game play. This star wars game ouyt matches them all bye alot the moves on the game or real and don't freeze like an other system. this game is in the lead until a better star wars game comes out. Remember i rated it ********** stars for the best game play bye

Before I never rally liked games where you had to imput moves instead of doing everything yourslf but now that i have played it it is my new favorite game. The graphics are great, it is very originallity, and you can choose to be light or dark good or evil. How can you beat that? once i got the gome (3 days after it came out)i was hooked and beat it in another 3 days on dark and now i am working on light. the game if fairly short when compared to a few others but as far as gameplay goes it has blown every single prvious star wars game into ity bity microscopic pieces. I can't count how many hours i've spent playing this gome since I got it, but the only time I stop is to get food, go to the bathroom, or to go to school. that is why Star Wars Knights of the old republic is my favorite game for the year 2003.

Don't get me wrong kotor is a great game, but i know Lukius arts can do better with the game play.Kotor has some of the best graphs i've ever seen(i play it on a computer), has one of the best story lines of all time and it's STARWARS. But there are still things i would like to point out as thing that keep the pace to slow and give me a headace. First The one thing that relly botherd me was the fact that it paused every time you came by a bad guy or, secend when you are facing forwerd and you press back and you turn in a circle, third there is know way to look up or down, forth why does your levels stop at 20?, and fith IT'S TOO SHORT. Those are the relly the only things that i disliked about the game, but even with these it dident stop me from playing the game thru 6 or 7 times.

Yea this game is really Kewl, some parts are kinda hard like gaining points to be on the light side!, being dark is so much easier to do, If anyone knows an easy way to gain light points, besides being nice in conversations, my pointer to how dark or light i am stays in teh middle for some reason, its like im mixing it up for no reason being on the dark side is funner in talking with people but light side cause the force points takes less to use powers, its a good game havent played KOTOR 2 yet, but i will after i beat this one, just got it last week, just finished off manaan and tatooine and dantooine and of course taris, now im on kasyyyk, if anyone could help me out with getting more light points quicker to where i am in the game please write a review, Thanks

Don't get me wrong I love the game, I've beaten it almost 50-60 times, longest running time was 25 hrs. so it's not for the faint of heart. The only thing I wish they would have done was stuck to the reality that Geroge Lucas created.
IF YOU ARE HIT WITH A LIGHT SABER YOU DIE! please it's a high intinsity laser that was shown in the movies to instantly slice through any limb or droid.
Plus, I was on Korriban with bastila and full darkside points, would I not tell Master Uthar that I had the Jedi that Lord Malak wanted?!?!
And I hope that you have a choice in the begining of KOTOR2 to start out as an evil jedi!

Yes I do this game is wonderful Im telling you I like it more than any kind of finalfantasy and is even better than morrowind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you have to buy your own stuff and your words can change THE GAME!!!!!!! for example some times if you kill some body or make him live might change the story. you can also go on swoop racing it took me 7 days playing 10-6 hours a day. once i did not sleep playing this game its soooooooooo damn long its worth your money !!!!! and you can buy armor,gloves,sowrds,guns etc........... you have the ability to travel to5 different planets each got differnt people,enemys climate. belive it or not this game is worth buying for $100 dont weast your time renting it BUY THE DAMN GAME!!!!!!!!!

Ok, at first I wasn't hooked on the battle system, but then when I became a Jedi, and had force powers, that was much better. I hear you are all paying $99 for the game, that is odd, because I paid $60 for it. NO joke either. The game is awesome, and the characters are cool, especially Bastila, I took her duel bladed lightsaber and gave her mine, that was fun. You are a veritable killing machine! The graphics were good, the gameplay was good, over all the game rocked! I had no problems with the game (yet) and I have finished it twice. I am not a RPG fan, but my friend got it and lent it to me and I was hooked, i ran out and got my self a copy. You should all get this game!

This gam is totally remarkable. The fighting system kicked ass in being a turnbased combat that really uses xp to see how good someone is. I played Jedi Knight Academy and that game was 500times crappier than this game. They had crap story plus bad fighting stile. In this KOTOR however everything was perfect. Exellent story and gameplay. Noticable that BioWare created this game. It is right up there next to other games that are just like it, BG2 and so on... Very well made.
I played as darklord aswell. It is the most exiting by far. Many RPG are like that. The "dark side" makes it more exiting and thrilling to play... The light side i so... normal. That's not what players usually want. As most people already know.

This game is very additive as others have said. Take advantage of your X-box's hard drive and save multiple players at mulitple times so you can come back and do things differently. The game has a steep learning curve at first but then it becomes very envolved and keeps you wondering what if I would have done this... Both sides are fun and the transit mode is a life saver from all the running USE IT it cuts time. The Mini games are fun and so is the whole game. A must have for all game fans. I paid 49.95 at Target for my copy so its not a bad price. I love the stategy involved and the fact that you can self heal when you become a Jedi. Another plus is the pause before a fight. What else can I say but A+

I started playing the game and i hated it...i thought here we go with another dissappointing, waste of money game. But after about an hour or two i was hooked. Now i havent slept in about 4 days, my girlfriend hates me and im probably gonna get fired but i dont care...im addicted. Im not even a big stars wars or RPG fan...I just bought the game because it had good reviews. As for graphics, i think theyre great except for all the secondary characters looking the same. It hasnt froze on me completely yet but it almost did a couple times, its probably just from running my xbox for so long though. Overall great game, its definitly worth it and about time that something came out at the same level as halo.

Ok for people who love RPGs this game is for you. fairly good gameplay... SEVERLY ADDICTING! and is hard even on easy it was still hard. And choosing your own side is crap i mean you can do good or evil things but it doesnt really matter it just a question you ask. With the commercial I was really excited about getting this game but its not worth 50 bucks.. 30 maybe. The gameplay is alright but it was like Final Fantasy, i was hoping for kingdom hearts style the force powers graphics ok like Storm thats awesome but IT HAS NO MULTIPLAYER unlike jedi outcast i think that is what a game should have. It was fun...LOT OF RUNNING! but you should rent it maybe twice because it takes awile too beat.

After years of crap from lucas the star wars following we finally have a game that lives up to the story. The gameplay which can be daunting at the beginning becomes worthwhile after learning the ways of the force as both a dark or light jedi. the system is inventive and except for a couple of freezing problems is near perfect (save often is the best advice). The character development is interesting with many different angles you can pursue. All in all this is the best star wars game to ever hit a peronal consle and lets hope this will finally put an end to terrible star wars games and bring in an era of well thought out games. Hopefully we can see something like Masters of Tera kasi 2.

When i saw the ad for this game I didnt even have an XBOX but I wanted this game so bad I went out and bought an XBOX and this games and It was worth it. This is the best video game ive ever played on any console. The Graphics a awesome although a little jagged but its hard to really notice. Sound is great all of the voices of NPC are really well done. The storyline is the best part about this game especially the twist about 3/4 the way through the storyline is alot better than any of the recent movies. The one thing bad about this games was that it was two short it needs to be longer and have some stuff to do after the fight with Malak instead of just ending

If your interested in just playing games with no story where you beat someone up, play mortal kombat. Without the picking your attacks system the game would be total havic! I admit, the game is a little incomplete, a few freezings but nothing major, it didnt ruin my day when I had to restart the game every once in awhile. Payed $45 for a used one. Its not hard so far at all and im very cloes to beating it, havent gotten stuck once yet, its not hard but yet its not easy as in boring, its always surprising me! As for graphics, what the heck have you all been playing?! These graphics are crisp and nice. I didnt even notice the songs. VERY ADDICTIVE

This is the best game that I have ever played. It has the best plot ever. I used to think star wars was stupid but after playing the game, I love it.I agree with Dan, it needs some type of transportation. Other than that it rocks.On the star forge I think they went a little overboard with the attacking jedi but that just makes it harder and a lot more fun. I like that you can choose what you say. That makes it alot better. I really like the end battle with malak. I like the fact that you can drain the jedi with life drain or death feild befor him so he cant regain life. It makes the battle alot esaier.
P.S. Ilove the alternate endings!
