Who can say 10, wait who can say 100 because thats what this deserves. I have only heard one complaint, and that was by an idiot. This game rocks. I mean the story is crazy, the twist are insane, and the characters are hilarious, i mean HK-47 was cool as crap, i kept him around just to hear his comments. You can be evil, You can be good, hey if you try hard anough you can be both, two endings, endless ways to get there. Yeah sometimes you feel kind of bad after you just told a woman that she is worthless, and then force persuasion her to jump off a cliff, but still its funny.
This game rocks, so shall the second one. Long live George Lucas

KOTOR is a excellent game with the story line, great graphics, and character level ups (to me it makes the game more realistic, and i love realistic games, not any cheap crap). the fighting is a lil lame having to attack one at a time, but it doesnt ruin the game (i mean come on u dumbasses). i dont have many problems with freezing cuz all u gotta do is NOT lay mines (layin them is stupid anyway cuz they dont do crap, they just waste space). seriously i would love is KOTOR 2 would come out. things i would say i would want in it would be more fighting moves, force powers, levels, and choices of things to say. thats all i got so later folks

That is all i have to say about this game becuz it is amazing. I dunno some people donht like the fighting but i think its new and AWESOME. You can see what is going on .... and if ur new u can pause and do actions in order. Plus the variety and detail is amazing becuz each planet offers somthing new 4 equipment or race of people.I love star wars in general and the only other star wars game i liked was shadows of the empire for N64 and we all know that was years ago. Now the only thing i am waiting for is the new content download for xbox live. Beucz new levels people weapons equipment storylines storytwists will be awesome.

Great game. Graphics are decent (compared to Pirates of the Carribean they are decent). Gameplay is sound. Easy to play, and Impossible to win. The last battle is Impossible. You cannot win. Remember these are my .02 your mileage may vary. But If you don't min/max your character just right you will never beat it. 20th level is max? This is a major flaw in my opinion, you stop getting feats but not xp..... Don't buy this game if you like to finish things. Buy Pirates of the Carribean, a game you can play and have fun with. Star Wars is too linear. You must do this. You must go here.... It's not open enough.

Like everyone else has said, the running around part is a drag. The plot, storyline choices, reaction choices, weapons, and the fact of the awesome twist in the game will make you want to save and then try the scenario over differently. I have logged over 40 hours on the game in less than 3 days. The best thing about the game is the fact that so much of the storyline is based on your leaning to the light or dark side. You get different answers for being more dark or more light. My favorite skill is the force domination. That brings me so many laughs, well that and the HK-47 "You Meatbag!!" A definite must buy!!!

My first experiance at Rpgs was The never ending storey on my speccy 48 that was a cool game sat up all night with me ma until we saved the world well 16 years on and this is one of very few games since to keep me up all night repeatedly Yes it does lock up Yes you do walk ALOT but $#< remove me > at ! so what it is very cool imerse yourself open a can of bud sit back and watch your own storey choose your own path make friends and kill enemys Have to say the twist caught me by suprise and that is always good if you play games to escape then this is the daddy of escape put the disk in and kiss the bird goodbye your in for a long ride

How can you not like this game?!? ok so maybe the fighting system could be more user oriented, but so what?!?!
The graphics are the best ive ever seen, the story is great, the plot twist in the middle is VERY unexpected, and its Starwars! I like the use of light sabers and love to customize mine, but i do not agree with their power. come on! Qui-Gonn can cut through a like 5 foot thick wall! why cant a lightsaber kill a kinrath or a kath hound in one hit? I have completed it once so far on the good side. i like the starforge but holy crap thats alot of Sith! over all i give it a 10! its a must have for starwars lovers.

I was 14 hours into the game it locked, restsrted to save point and got to same previose lock up point and it locked up. Took the game back got another disk, cool... got through old lock up point and was all good. Then 30 hours or so into it, lock up! reset and played up to that point and again, lock up! Got a new disk, and guess what, lock up !!!!! This is a rushed game, they were behind on a deadline and shipped a flawed product. The game is great except for lock ups. oh ya, there suggestion is to delete all memory of it on the xbox and start over, ya 30 hours all over again.

I beat Star War KOTOR in about three days. The best part about the game is all the chouces you get. like being on the dark or light side. you get to choose your speech. Plus there are a whole bunch of twists in the story.The first time i beat it i chose dark side. but this is a game you should really play more the once. so i started a new file and i'm going on the light side. another part i liked is how you have nine friends which you can choose two out of. the graphics on the game were pretty good, but i've seen better. how long the game is, depends on what choices you make in the game.

i dont usually play rpg's, but star wars:kotor was an exception, it has got to be the most amazing game i have ever played and i fink nuthin except star wars:kotor 2 could beat it. i woz up all nite playin the part on the levithan cause i was so desperate 2 find out wat happened nxt and there wer so many twists and turns. ive completed it twice now as both good and evil and im still not bored wit it, the only minor downside is that i wanted to carry on bein darth revan and take over the universe, but hey we cant have everfin, i recommend this to anyone. heck u should buy an xbox for this

this game is definetly the best game around but there are alot of improvement that could of took place but it is still the best game around. it is awesome that it takes place 4,000 yrs before the original stars took place it would be awesome if it were two players both of u running around with a lightsaber both lets just hope knights of the old republic 2 will come out if they ever make it. the downside of the game is it freezes alot the fighting could be bettter and of course alot longer lets hope that jedi knight 3 is cool. Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic rocks! ! !

Most of the Star Wars games in the past were really not great games, but this one is amazing! I hate RPG's and I always have but this game is so good, it's the best game this year and the best RPG ever. In the game, you go to 7 different planets, fly on this awesome ship, learn to be a jedi, and choose between being on the dark side or the light side. The best part of it is, you get to pick your color lightsaber and they even have double bladed lightsabers! How sweet is that? I adise everyone to buy this game, it is the second best game I have ever played next to Halo.

This game is an amazing game! I am a total Star Wars Fanatic so I love it. Only problem I've been having is sealing my friend my X-Box so I've been playing there until my next paycheck. I know a lot of ppl have problems cause it is a 100% RPG and I know it would be oh so much better if you could control every action but I am finding this game amazing and have 2 games I am playing at the same time. 1 where I am a light Jedi and 1 where I am a dark jedi I am loving the game. I consider this a must buy for all Star Wars and RPG fans out there. !!!!!!!GREAT GAME!!!!!!!

This game has awsome role playing and a awsome team up fighting skill. also had awsome graphics . but needed more facial choices. but it definetly gets a ten out of ten. it most definetlly i mean definetly got the game of the year title . but the second one we get the title again for the lucas arts team. god bless them guys for making a terrific game for all us videogamers worldwide. this game gots all the terrific bad mouth and good mouth talking to help you join the dak or light side of the force . good action and needs less talking and more of that action.

The game was great. I must have spent days playing this game. Loved it. But the problem is that when you beat it all you get is a stupid cinema. I wanted to play as darth revan. Whats up with that. Also the game would lock up a few times. So to Bioware for next star wars game make it like this one just make it like never end have like 50 thousand worlds, yeah that woudl kick, and stop making it lock up. BUt if you havent played this game yet and are thinking about it believe me get it. it is most defiently the best game ever made for the xbox.

Hey, dont get me wrong, KOTOR is totally sweet, but I agree with the dude from Vegas, KOTOR 2 should be realistic; kinda like Jedi Acadamy, but more things get cut off.
But the fighting is kinda lame, I mean if my 5 year old cousin can beat the thing in 2 days on hard mode, come on!
Also, why cant u do cheats on the X-box? 'Cause if u cant take the game to the next level, am I right?
Quick question, if you beat the game in 4 hrs is that some kinda record?
Yo, I got a little hint 4 ya, the fastest way through taris, dont do any sidequests.

This game is more good than bad.I agree with various complaints about only advancing to 2oth level,that blows.However this is still a great game.Not to mention the fact that I have beaten the game with several different characters (on hard I might add)
so I dont get the complaints about the last battle being to hard or the fact that you need to level up a certain way everyone of my characters is nothing like the other. So if you are having trouble beating it you should try destroying the other trapped Jedis when Malak goes to power up.

The story is a bunch of junk just like every other game safe some chick.That is kinda ok cause there are bigger flaws.Like the fighting,who whants to just sit there and watch the dude just fight.You can't really help him.Run,Run,Run, give me like one of those space cruisers or something.Camera angles could be better.All I ever see is a buch of damn circles.One thing i like about it is that you can be any one in your party just by pressing a button.Rent just to try you will think it sucks then it gets better then it is all downhill.

damn son this game is one of the da best games ever made in my opinion but i don't give a fudge about wat u think. The only reason i gave it a 9 out of 10 was because of the walking.I bet even the characters wanted a brake.the weapons are great each with their own abilities and disabilities. Not only does it give an action feeling but it also gives a tactical sense 2 it. Using your imagination to level up your character may be a little of a fudging bother but still once again it turns out great. THANKS bioware!!!!!!!!!

This game is good I guess but it is a take turn press one button game, I don't know about you guys but this game was alot worse then I expecteed. I have to admit I am a star wars fan but Not of this game if it were a "Not take turns trying to kill each other game I would like it though. It has an awsome story awsome grafics, its music is repeated over and over and over again, the gameplay sucks. I give it a 5. If you like games where you go all out and destroy things without taking turns do not get thid game.
