This game rules. Everything about the game rocks. I love being able to go around and strangle someone, then steal their clothes, then trick the other enemies in thinking that I am one of them. THEN KILLING THEM!!! :-) The game play is smooth and I love to hear the character voices when I am playing, rather than reading them in the bottom of the screen. The texture is rich and the game is somewhat realistic. This is a must for those who love action games. Buy it today!!!

I think that Hitman 2 is as quality a game as Hitman was. The new save feature could go though. I found it rather easy. Remember the frustration of the Lee Hong Assination? I miss that gut wrenching do or die type of gameplay. 2 is much more planned or maybe too linear. Overall I place Hitman 2 in the realm of greats like Thief Gold or Half Life 1. Play for the silent assassin title. It makes the game far harder! Happy Huntin u crazy killers!

I want to know why some people insist on ripping through a game as fast as they can just so they can say how little time it took them? I play games on the hardest level and do the missions as they are ment to be. I have only completed the first mission so far and that took me a good 2-3 hours of attempts. However I completed the mission without being seen by any gaurds, I fired one shot (into the head of my target) and retrieved all the weapons lying aroung. Ofcourse I could go in shooting and blast my way through in 10 minutes, but that's the easy way!

if there is someone who wants to play a game which involves shooting get hitman 2 its ace like when you put in the gravity cheat you kill people and they float up!and not just that its the weapons you get just really rock, i dont know any other shooting game better than hitman.If your one shooting fan get it now!!! you wont believe your eyes the graphics,guns,blood its just cool!!!.its an incredible experence its a fun game to play on you could play on it for hours or days.

This game is it the ultimate game i have for the xbox and i have a few. The costume makes you look like an office worker but the gloves just give it that hitman touch. I found the game fairly easy but there is huge reason to want to replay certain levels. I personally never played hitman 1 but by the quality of this game i reckon it must have been good. Sadly it does have its bad sides like the fact when you steal clothes(so fun) you leave nude guys lying around everywhere.

I bought this game about 28 hours ago and I just finished it, I loved the first one and this is even better. Beautiful graphics and awsome guns plus the controls are fairly easy to get used to, opposed to the first for PC, where you had to spread your hands all over the keyboard at once just to open a door. I dont think that the game is to short but it is just to addictive. When you start you just dont stop and therefor you finish it in an incredebly short time span.

I just bought this game on November 7th, which was a Thursday. I beat the game on Sunday morning. Believe me, It wasn't a short game, but I was obsessed. Once you start playing, you just cant stop. The Graphics in this game are amazing. The character models and environments were extremely detailed. It was amazing how you never found youself in a level that looked like the one before it. The sound was also something that can be acknowledged. With a full Orchestra and music that makes the hair on your neck stand on end, It brought the game to life. Every environment had its own style. The controls and gameplay were extremely gamer friendly. The controls, like any game took a little getting used to, but after you get the hang of it, it's simple. The game was extremely open-ended. You could complete a mission with stealth or guns blazing. I reccomend stealth because it makes the game more exciting and requires you to actually think. A.I. of the characters was an overall great. Don't make a wrong move or they will get you. The harder the difficulty, the more allert the guards. I played the game for about 30 hours and every hour was worth it. I find myself going back to replay levels to get a higher rating and it never gets old. I had tons of fun playing it, and I actually felt like a hitman because the game consumes you. I highly reccomend this game to anyone who wants to play a kick-butt game. Please buy it and give it a chance. You won't be dissapointed.

For all those people who are 'veterans' of the double-analog control system, Agent 47 will swiftly react to all of your commands. The beautiful graphics, and great story line are two factors that make this game a perfect choice for rentals and purchases alike. The game itself doesn't hold many stages, but be prepared to shell out 20-30 hours at least. It is a difficult game, even on the easiest difficulty setting. There are many weapons at your disposal as you make your way through different countries, working for the agency you believed to have left behind. What I liked a lot about this game is the mission objectives. There are many missions you must accomplish, all which require stealth, intrusion, and silent assassinations. But naturally, the choice is yours whether you will drag dead bodies into dark corners and steal the victim's clothes, or run straight ahead and shoot anything that moves. Agent 47 is a cool protagonist, always quick with an answer, and always ruthless, yet professional with his targets. You'll enjoy being a part of his complicated life. For each mission, you have photos, videos, and detailed explanations of what you'll have to do. Each weapon you finish a level with ends up in your inventory for use in the next level, if you wish to do so. All in all, this game is a bit frustrating at most, but worth playing through.

My only complaint is there should be more levels. This was an exciting game to play because of the freedom Agent 47 has in making any decision. Great selection of weapons and other aresenal. The fact that you can assume the identity of your victims rocks. There's a whole lot of sneaking around through many countries in an interesting (but somewhat cheesy) storyline.

As i said in the title of this review it gets boaring after a wile but on the good side there is the graphics which is quite amazing. the sounds are good like on the second levle when the made gets scared she shouts "ostaff ostaff!" i myself do not know what it means. There aren't enough levles so i compleated the game within 24 hrs but i was playing it non stop. I would say that the jacuzzi job is the best levle.

This is one of the best games for x-box. the story line is great and there are so many weapons to choose from. i love it when you can switch clothes. there are so many codes for this game, and the levels are great. i can't wait to see if there is a hitman 3

I really like the first one. I'm a bigtime stealth/shooter guy, but I had to admit: the first one had a couple problems. The first was the lack of in-mission saves. The second the lack of multitudes of was to go about each level. It's all gone in the sequel! However, this game is HARD (I view this as a good thing)! Definetly a good buy.

Well. The option of 1-3 person views are simply genius and the range of weapons is really exotic. Couple major beefs though, the story is rushed like a mother... I get the plot, whupdee do, but a few minutes in the game and you're already out of a life long planed hiding? Also, in the first I thought the whole mafia hitman look was really original... but I think the theme has just been played out. The game was good, they should quit while it still is. One more thing, they should take out of the sword, it's movements are even more chopper than the knives.

i have been a fan of stealth action since thief: the dark project (quite possibly the first... ) then metal gear solid came about... then hitman. then splinter cell and mgs2 and hitman 2. so of course when thief 3 comes out this winter... nevermind, back to the review. this game rules. as stated, its extremely open ended... but who wants to go around just killing everyone you see as a matter of technique and style (not counting those who beat it overnight simply cuz thats exactly what they did and consider the game a piece of $#< remove me > at ! because of this)? try it on professional and see how long you last ;). of course, if you ask me, the name of the game is to try and be mr. "silent assassin." it makes the game alot more immersive, not to mention harder. xbox is harder than the pc version (the pc version will not calculate additional kills by fibrewire or knife [cut throat] as "agression" not the case on xbox) so... any other body other than your target will lower your rating immediately to professional. then again... who knows. some levels maybe your not suppose to be...
pick it up, play it for what it is, and you'll totally understand what i mean... if you have that edge that is...

This game is very satisfying, but I understand when people say that it is too short. Maybe I've just got a short attention span... I do feel there's not a great deal of replay value. Part of the challenge is finding new ways to complete your mission, or trying to do it again with fewer bullets (from "Mass Murderer" to "Silent Assassin" on the level "Tubeway Torpedo" - not easy!) but essentially each option is very linear. However, I still get a kick out of finding new ways to kill Hakamoto in "Shogun Showdown". (Two words: Bomb placement.)
There are some annoying things... like, if somebody sees you when you're in 'sneak' mode, surely they should be alarmed much *more* quickly than normal? If there's one thing more suspicious than running, it should be tiptoeing along the middle of a darkened street past a guardpost.
I'm glad I bought Hitman 2, because it rocks, but if you're a really hardcore gamer you'll be able to push it aside after a week or so and go back to 2-on-2 Blood Gulch CTFs... thus the title of this review, 'Probably a renter only.'

Well, yeah, its a great game..but i think it was 2 short. I beat it in 2 days, wished it had a couple of more missions, cause its really alot of fun. Of course, i could always play it again, trying to be more "silent". My advice is, rent it over a weekend and finnish it. It shouldnt be a problem..
