Brute Force |

I think Brute Force is a great game. It has great graphics, with detailed textures and enviroments. The Gameplay is good, with easy controls. The level design is great, with twists and turns. Specials help flesh out the game, with a sniper, gunner, infilitrator, and a beast, you can play the game so many ways. The weakest part is the AI. Telling Hawk (the infiltrator with low health) to cover you, see will just run in the open shooting, usually meaning that she dies. Running over pipes (sometimes over lava or toxic waste) The AI will fall and Die or get lost. Multiplayer is fun, with tons of unlockable characters and lots of levels. I think this a good game, but it's faults pull it down.

this game was just too easy! it was a good game, but to easy. i rented this game and beat it in 2 days. i expected it 2 be a little harder than that! the m-play is all right but you can't play online. the creators could have made it alot better!

this game is great i love it the story is kind of good the game play is awsome i love flint she is the best at sniper. the game have some good stuff like u can play the quest over LINK!! and i like the weapons in this game there are alot of them ilove the sniper and the kingman auto pistol i recomend this game to every one becasue it great BUT not as fun as HALO

Hey the game Brute Force will kick Middle Earths ass anyday. So get of your PC and buy it. The levels that u are able to play r just rad. My Fav dude is obviously Brutus he walks around and everyone pretty much gives up!!! Tex is another character who gets the guns that will blow up a town. Theres also Flint who is an expert at going invisible. And thens theres another chick who has the snipering better that Master Cheif. Overall i would rate it 100 out of ten.

I got this game I while back, and just beat it today. The levels are beautifully made. Even in the deathmatch there are tons of things that are interactive: Gas canisters blow up, you can kick chairs and tires around, statues break, lights pop, containers smash (When you shoot them of corse). In the deathmatch levels there are "environmental hazards" eg: lava or toxic slime. This adds a touch of danger that isn't your friends, to the deathmatch. Not to mention that some of the levels are huge, especialy the squad deathmatch levels. Some are indoors some are out. Unlockable characters are great too. By finding DNA canisters in the campaign you unlock players in the deathmatch. Each player has different abilities, things they can and can't pick up, different amounts of health, and different speeds they move at. There are a total of 20 different characters you can play as, making 5 squads for squad deathmatch. Another nice feature is (and I hate to make this comparison) like in Halo once you beat a level you can play it on a different diffuculty. Well I'm off to play some more Brute Force.

Just yesterday i rented brute force.The game is not really thatgood. Halo is the best xbox game ever.brute has good graphics but you cant hit any one with your gun,ore drive cars.No game could ever beat HALO. and when halo 2 comes out brute is going to look rubbish.

theres only one thing that could have mad it better, vehicles. Like a jeep or something. But overall this game rocks i just got it last monday and ive already played it for hours, even though ive been weightlifting and going to the pool.
Graphics: 9.8/10.....Sound: 10/10.....Lasting: 8.9/10.....Controles: 8.7/10.....Overall: 9.6/10

to all of youthat think that im comparing it to halo im not halo dserves at least a 12 or 13!! i liked the way you could choose stealth or fire fights every mission in halo there is no stealth you cant turn invisible and cut people in half with your power blade plus halo had like 6 weapons and the same old enemies!!!(with the exception of the flood) so rock on halo but dont take all the glory

I jus bought this game and i can't wait to play it. all the buzz i heard about it makes me wanna play it more. but one thing though.
NEVER COMPARE ANYTHING TO HALO. halo by far is the greatest game evermade. jus wait till halo 2. if u can't wait that long halo is coming out for computer with a lot more new features including new weaopons, levels, and vehicles. plus u can't get the banshee in multiplayer

Brute Force is overall a really good game if you don't compare it to Halo. If it weren't for Halo, Brute Force would probably be the game of the year. Brute Force is a Halo version of Socom: U.S. Navy Seals. I rated it a 9 because it gets kind of hard controling 4 people at a time.

The graphics were good and i thought it had a good storyline to it. It was really fun and i thought they made the game really well. I was excited till the very end of the game. This was a really good game and should be played by all. The multiplayer is awesome too.

Well, unless you have your own screen. (ie: more than one x box linked together with seperate copies of the game. )
The single player rocks ! The AI is really good. It also has 18 looooong levels.
And when you beat a level, you can go back and beat it with a better score later, and find hidden items and what-have-you.
The Campaign mode in this game is even better when you have 2 - 4 x boxes linked together, and you work co-op within the single player mode of the game.
But as far as first person shooter multi-player games go, I'll stick to HALO. Well at least until Counter-Strike comes out.

sure halo rocked,it was ahead of its time no doubt.You could make your own game and name it,custom right down to the color of master chief.Just about any company can make a good 1st person shooter, but how many can do a great 3rd person shooter! There hasn't been one since syphon filter2.Brute Force,30 weapons in all, awsome graphics and gameplay! Call me crazy but I went out and bought a second xbox and 2 copies of brute force, system link is INSANE and well worth the money!!!!!!

i dont own brute force but a friend let me borrow it this game has good gaphics and AI. such (hawk)"im taking cover" commanding your own squad is what makes it slighty better then halo. the reason it to easy i beat it in 3 days with 2 more DNA canasters to find the multiplayer is cool. in multi. u can have squads going at eachother. the weapons r cool varities of grenades certian members of the team can only use spieacal items and do stuff like, Tex is the only 1 who can diesable mines.

ok first of all, some of you need to stop basing your review on halo compared to brute force. the only things really similar between the 2 games is the controls. almost identical. thats it. but this game has a feel like halo. my friends and i consider it has more of a Conflict: Desert Storm feel to it (gameplay wise). but this game is truly incredibly fun. if you dont own it, go get it. if you think its too easy, then try the "Brutal" game mode then lets see how easy u find it on the lava levels. (There are like 5 fire hounds in every group, its insane)

This was a great game the graphics were a sucess and I like each of the characters. The story not that great. So what if you get four people, master cheif can do all that. And the story in Halo gets into really good detail. I like the multi player in Halo because you could do different games then just deathmatch. So if I give Halo a 10 and this game an 9 when halo 2 comes out (hopefully soon, dear god make it soon) this game will be raked down to a 5.

I got Brute Force yesterday and from then on I've been hooked. The graphics are amazing! Each area is fully detailed with little bumps to rocks or twigs! The only thing I dislike about the game is the fact that it's in third pirson view. And when you are in the heat of battle and all of a sudden you can't see the bad guys because your co-op is in the way of your view. I've died tree times because of that! But for those of you who think that this game might compare to Halo your wrong. The weapon detail is much better and I really liked being able to control the diffrent tipes of vihicles. And in Brute Force it becomes a big pain ordering your squad around. First you tell them to run in guns blasting but then you see a groop of guys with mini-guns that are taring them apart by the time you give the order ther're already dead. Another thing that was good about Brute Force though is the great quality of the sound. Hearing the co-ops tald with perfect facial movements is pretty cool! Overall the game is alot of fun! You get to command awesome operatives and use some of coolest weapontry known to man. You also get to play one of the gest multiplayer games of all times. The only major downfall is that if you don't want to really get into the game and give it some thought instead of just running in guns blazzing tring to take down the enemies as if they were little flies, this might not be the game for you. But for me the game was a totally worth my fifty dollors, and if you have Xbox then I recomend it for you!

By no means is Brute Force is a perfect Ten, but holy crap it isn't a 3 or 4 either. If you rate it a Ten you are comparing it to games like "King" Halo, or (the best game ever in my opinion) Grand Theft Auto; Vice City. And if you rate it a 4 you are comparing it to junk like Shrek. Now if you took the time to break this game down it deserves a score more in the 8-9 range. If you are actually looking for a more realistic review I will break it down by 5 categories...
Graphics - 10
Sound - 9
Game Play - 8.5
Replay Value - 9
Fun Factor - 8.5
P.S. NERDS... STOP COMPARING THIS GAME TO "KING" HALO. Who said it has to be as good as Halo. This game is a success, and it will sell well.

I can see why some people want to try and compare this game to Halo, and I have to admit, Brute Force is the closest thing to Halo other than Halo I've ever seen. If you like third person, good graphics and overall good gameplay, buy Brute Force. If you want a game that compares to Halo, wait for Halo 2 to come out.
