I'm a 20-year-old chick, and I even played the damn thing. It kicked so much ass! I call the Iraqi, Habeebs, it seems fitting. Anyway, I loved the game play, I thought it was pretty confusing at first on the Game Cube version, but I got the hang of it quickly. I was always John Bradley, "The medic" because that's all I was good for. My brother Alex(who is in the Army right now) was always Paul Foley, the sniper dude. My best friend Amanda was always Mick Connors, the bad-ass Anti-tank dude, and Heather my other friend, was Jones... that is until we killed him off in a mission to get Ayre, who was much cooler. I love all of the weapons in the game, so fun to watch the Habeebs go down in the line of scattering bullets. The tanks scared the $#< remove me > at ! out of me... now I hear different sounds of machinery and find my self crouching down or lying prone. D'oh! Anyway, the overall game play was excellent, though I would have loved to have seen a bit more moves. Like the rolling gig in the second one, that would have been sweet. I also didn't like it that you couldn't climb onto little obstacles. As far as being compared to any other war game, Conflict: Desert Storm puts'em all to shame!

I agree with this game because its not only single player, yet me and 3other friends can play to!! I might be only on the 3rd level with the jets, but this game ROCKS!! The aim is a bit touchy in first person, but 3rd person view I looooovve it! I dont see how it only gets an 8.9, they must not be into action games at all... One of my draw backs are at the beginning having to rescue your team on Multiplayer. It took me an hour to figure out that I had to release him in the north-east corner. I give this game a 9 out of 10 due to the draw backs of the aim at the beginnning. If you read this, try the game, Trust me, you'll Want to buy it after the first time playing it. Its worth the money, so dont think your going to buy it and be bored in a few minutes. So I suggest you to try it, if you haven't the taste for action war, or Adventure through the snow, desert and jungle, I bet you would be better off sitting on the couch playing the other types of games

it is an awesome game.I play it for hours with my father.he likes it more than me.well maybe not more than me but he likes alot. the graphics are pretty good. if you havent played it,go get it.I saw only a few flaws.some weapons dont fire.but i dont let that change my dicision of the game.i have not finished it but i will try. the levels i played are so much fun. i want to do them over again.my friends havent all played it.only one that lives on my street.they really are missing out on a great game.the ones that havent played that is.i like how you are fighting iraq.i wonder if there is a saddam in the game that you kill.but if there isnt who cares. at least it is a great game. i have it on rental but i hope i get it for my birthday.or any other holiday.it is a great game.i hope more games will be made like this.

Folks, let me tell you, there hasnt been a game this fun since Metal Gear. Its the right amount of action in each and every level and the controls are easy to use. If there is anything that ruins a game its annoying controls. I tryed to play that new Tom Clancy game "Ghost Reacon" or something like that, and the controls really ruined the game play. The contorls for Desert Storm are among the easiest in the gaming world and that lets you really get into the game. I dont buy a whole lot of games, but i had to go buy this one as soon as i put it back on the rental self. Now all the guys at Gotham Games need to make a game like this for every war in the past. If you have never played this game and you like fun action games, stop in your local movie rental store and pick it up. Then get ready for a great game.

I love Desert Storm, I really like to play it in Multiplayer, because otherwise if you wanted one guy to throw a smoke bomb as another sneeks behind a tank to blow it up, you can't. The graphics are great, I like the Sniper Scope in aim mode. In the missions that you are carried on to another those are hard, On Scud Alley me, my brother, and my cousins had a tough time getting through that. I ended up getting killed after being seperated from the group, and they keeped running over me to find me. I ended with Collins in the next mission. The only things Desert Storm needs are 1. More missions, I want to kill Sudam and 2. For training, make it so you can pull out any gun and just fire, I think that would help.

i got this game today it is one of my many xbox games. It is one of my favorites along with medal of honor frontline. I like it because there is so much stuff too keep me busy I like shooting the barrels well thats just me like every other 11 year old i like to blow things up it is hard buti like all the training and that stuff it helped a lot. I like the graphics the are pretty cool the game play is really good i havent got to play multi player yet but i look forword too it the only bad part about it is that when you shoot someone the blood does notfly every were it is just a little puddle i wish this game were more like splinter cell. i know it is world war 2 but c'mon but still it is good 8-)

This game is great! It is realistic too and I like the fact that I can kill Iraqi people and Arabian people. The graphics are super and the gameplay is fun. I also like the weapons and levels. Especially the levels with vehicles and the ones where you enter the enemy's bases. Nothing is wrong with this game except for the fact that you cant save it more than once for each level, but that won't knock off one star at all. It is also cool because you can make your soldiers get ranked up and give them orders and stuff like that. Also, multiplayer is sweet. Nothing is better than four player co-op. Overall, it is a ten because it is realistic and fun. (Not a waste of money).

This game is sick. Straight up. Me and my roomates rented this game awhile back and can't keep talking about it. I got Ghost Recon and thought that was cool, But it has no match to this game. The 4 player action is tough as nails. The gun " the saw " mows down more rabs than you can count. There is one level where you have to sit on a plateau and hold you're ground for like 15 min till the chopper arives. The valley is a major battleground, One of the best level in the games. Also, If you think you're getting killed by the enemy, just call in the air strike. They have to make Operation Iraqi Freeedom! This game is up there.

the game has good graphics good wepons my favorite is the ak and the gun conners has(iforget what its called)and i disagre with the kid who said ghost recon is better.the game would be better if u could fly planes and stuff.and here is a tip if u incounter a tank and u dont have a bazoka or ne c-4's just make sure u have a guy with mines and another 1 with medic kits.go up 2 the tank and plant a mine or 2 right next to it then step on the mine and the tank will blow up then heal your self if u r down with antother guy.THIS GAME IS THE BEST.(and ur mental if u dont buy it or at least rent it)!!!!!!!!!!!!

This game came out at the exact right time with operation Iraqi freedom going on. One thing i would change is the intelligence of my soldiers. a realistic us delta force soldier does not run up to a enemy tank and smile at it. connors is constantly getting killed by iraqi tanks. And i have to risk my ass to save him. foley and ayre are always getting spotted by those bastard iraqi soldiers. All in all Decent game. this game is a lot like Socom Us navy seals but better. anybody who has never played it and are for the war in iraq you dont know what you are missing.

There is something about this game that puts it in a leage of its own. Wwhen your pinned down by fire from multiply ememy targets and desperately trying to coordinate your team with shouts of ON ME ON ME, FIRE AT WILL, ARMOUR SPOTTED, bullets screaming passed your head, you get a true taste of the essance of real combat that most war simulation games fail to convey. The graphics, scenery and msic all add to the feel and the characters are all distinguished and beliveable. my only critisism is the shooting controls, slightly too slow... if only they were like Goldeneye 64

Graphics, story line, and weapons are all cool. But it needs to have more blood.... I mean if you get shot point blank by fricken tank you should be in chunks. You should be able to lose limbs and stuff. Another thing that I did not like was that you could not play against each other in multiplayer. It would so cool to snipe your little brothers head of from a bridge. And pretty much the only other thing I have to complain about is that there are only the british dudes and the american dudes you should have more selection. But overall It is a really cool game.

This is an excellent game, and because of the fact that it is Iraq makes it a must play. The only thing i would cahange is the game detail and pace of action. Anyone who was killed by a tank while jumbling around to find a character with a antitank wepon knows this and also alot of times i find myself killing Iraqi scum without even seeing the look of anquish on there faces which tends to take away from the fun of the gameplay, the benifit to this is that it makes it more realistic. All in all I give it a 7 because of the fact that you kill Iraqies.

this game has great graphics and the stuff on the game really happend in desert storm its realistc and uhhhh ........:) dude theres alot of goood stuff about it trust me buy it o my favorite part is were ya kill saddam or do you i dont know i havent beaten the gmae yet last level is HARD >:) i like it like thta oh by the way heres a hint note:this game can piss you off so if your a short temperd ppl dont buy this game trust me it can really i mean REALLY piss you off.Oh and the cheats ruin the fun dudes dont do cheats ya sissys. peace

this game is the best game that i have played in a long time. it's awesome how 4 people can play missions on a team, because going against your friends get boring. But with this you, and your friends, can be the best 4-man army and kill every scum-bag in your way. i'm always the sniper and he's gotta be the best guy on the game because that gun is awesome. the only little thing wronge with it is, the graphics, i don't think they're that great for the game, but they're still pretty good. but i still give it a 10 because it's awesome!

Yup... This is the game of the year for my rating .... (For year 2002 of course) and it has great strategic value... U are able to do anything nowadays with the games that are connected to war, but this game connects strategy and 3D visuality inside... It has experience levels, i like that, and the only mistake i think is very important is that you have only 2 different uniforms to choose from (delta force and sas) that really bothers me... Otherwise the game is good value and i hope that you thionk the same way... Cya- XaN_MaN!

the game is great good units good play and goog weapons. i think that is a man died then he is dead. none of this first aid $#< remove me > at !. make auto-aim an option. and make more levels with large scale war. but also maintain covert missions. the sir base mission was fun it was an assalt but you still tryed to be covert. make somthing to counter gas granades and actualey make them usefull. and last make charecters like the prince and the doctor dude be able to use aks pistols and light weapons.
other than these pionts the game is sweat.

i think it is the best war game. it is really fun for four players(one with rifle others with gernades). this game has really good graphics and the sound is just brilliant. i spend nearly my while day playing this game and dont even get tierd of playing it. i played other army games but their controls are $#< remove me > at !. this game has taken me away from Grand Theft Auto Vice City and Golden Eye on N64. i say that everyone should buy this game rather than Medal Of Honour, Army Men and others. (THIS GAME IS NOT A WASTE OF MONEY)

i found it brileant and easy i'v completed the game and you dont kill sadame and i like the first level and really all of it i think if they make a desert storm 3 you should kill sadame and make even more levels than 10 like a level were you defend your base and be able to drive a proper tank than just an apc and i'v played both desert storms and i thouht the firist one was harder than the second one because the second one i complted in a week and that is not a lie you lot.

Most games that i play with my friends get boring very quickly (not with me, but with one certain someone, i think he has extreme ADHD) but this is the only one we haven't gotten bored of yet. I'm usually the Sniper, Paul Foley, and he has to be the funnest character to play with. 1st: Foley(Sniper) 2nd: Connors (Heavy weapons) 3rd: Bradley (Rifleman) 4th: Jones (Combat Engineer) This is my list, but try everyone to get a true feeling for the game.
