Review of Nascar Thunder 2003 |
| Nascar Fan from Toronto, Canada says (24/Sep/2003): |
Not bad, not bad. I love the fact that EA Sports has gone after the nascar fans of the world. But there certainly is some improvement left to be done. The crashes are certainly not realistic. In all the nascar races I've ever watched I've never seen a car do a flip, land on another car, and both cars keep driving with minimal damage. Career mode can be very frustrating if you're expecting to keep up with the other cars on the track. Get ready to be lapped time and time again early in your career. Putting in your dues is one thing, but this is a little ridiculous. On the bright side, the game is fun. Love the sounds, the action, and the "spotter" feature. Also, the beginning of each race is great - very TV-like presentation. Looking forward to 2004. I know EA Sports is on to something great.

NASCAR Thunder 2003,,,,,, A Must Have! I love It, My Wife Hates It! |
| James from Fort Rucker, Alabama says (8/Aug/2003): |
I played the game for a first at a friends house one night. When I got home I couldn't stop racing in my mind. To make a long story short I have never been a NASCAR fan or known anything about it, but now I can name off most of the top drivers along with stats and other NASCAR Guru stuff. NASCAR Thunder is by far the most realistic driving game I have ever raced on! As a matter of fact I was renting a movie the other day and saw a kid looking for a game so I had to show him the Greatest game of all...YOU KNOW...NASCAR THUNDER 2003!!! YEAH BABY BRINGING IT HOME...

I just can,t quiet talking about nascar 2003 i just can,t wait untill nascar 2004 come out. I have had a lot of fun with this game. I have really enjoyed playing nascar 2003 it would be really cool if you could build your own track and all the graphic details for the track that you build.

Nascar Thunder 2003 Rocks! |
| Evan from Wisconsin Rapids, USA says (20/Apr/2003): |
I couldn't wait to buy this game so I could race as Jimmie Johnson. Thunder is a great game it can be really simple and easy or it can be difficult and challenging. I really like the way you can change so many things in this game it is amazing! Go Jimmie!

Nascar Thunder Changed the way I looked at Nascar |
| Ross from Zeeland, Michigan, USA says (15/Apr/2003): |
I have been a nascar fan since 1995, and I always waited for a game good enough to be like the real race. Well i found that in Nascar Thunder 2003. The whole concept of the game is great, the drafting, and the passing, and of course the Lighting Challanges. But I do think the Career mode could be adjusted for the next year, it is kind of hard to understand and take a firm grip of, you really have to know what to do to the cars.

Great game for everyone, nascar fans especially. |
| A gamer from Ottawa, Canada says (15/Mar/2003): |
This is an awesome game if your into racing games. You can play mulitplayer with beginners and still have fun ( they wont be blown away like in most other racing games) but its still challenging for even the most experienced racer. I was never a NASCAR fan before i bought this game, but now, i cant get enough. Playing the game, watching the real races, its changed my life, maybe it will do the same for you.

This is the best |
| Nick Piro from New Jersey, Orange USA says (8/Nov/2002): |
Yo this game is the realist funnest and most heart clenching nascar game ever made EA sports really hit it off with this game i hope they come out with more, Bud Shootout and gatoade 125's. Ive always thought they should put them in the game and the did. I must say the graphics of the crashed cars and they victory lane are awsome pitting is fun and career is the best. Every other game its easy to win this one you really got to race

A great, new game |
| Aaron from Pennsylvania, USA says (4/Nov/2002): |
a great game, with realistic crashes, and handling. Cars constantly spinning out in front of you, make it a game to test your reflexes and alertness.
