This game ROCKED!!! It is the mother of all{and I mean all} Mks. My favorite fatality is Kung Lao's Hat Throw. My favorite charecter is Frost. I drew an exellent picture of Frost as a boy. The graphics and sound are also cool. Anyway this is the best Mortal Kombat game yet. I hope they another MK game with hecka better graphics, sound, arenas, chareters, everything. This is the best game in the world.

The Good Part is easy this is one of the greatest games made especially with great graphics and with weapons thatu dont have to cheat to get. The bad ummm.... first is the one fatality sucks i mean who wants to watch the same thing over and over. Second the gore and blood sucks with all the little pieces that look alike the organs should be detailed more like a heart pumping on the ground. Other than these MKDA is one of the best (or maybe it is)games around and hopefully it will get better.

Is is definitely THE best game of the whole Mortal Kombat series! The graphics and great attention to detail are mind-blowing, the storyline is wonderfully deep and complex and the game overall has that great fantasy/supernatural atmosphere that I've come to love! I think the sotryline, infact, is my favorite part of the game--reading about how all of the charatcers are tied to the "Deadly Alliance" and discovering everyone's reasons for being in the tournament. There's just so much mystery and backstory that playing the game is like reading a nice long adventure novel! Only three small flaws:
(1) (and I'm sure everyone else agrees) that the fighters have only one fatality
(2) Some of my favorite special moves of games past are missing (Sonya's Leg Grab, Scorpion's Teleport Punch, etc.)
(3) Only two hidden characters--wish there were more
But MK:DA is still DA BOMB! Bring on Mortal Kombat 6!!!

The Game is ok But what bugs me is the character Endings all sucked Except for Quan chi. The video showed Quan chi getting Kano to turn on shang tsung so when Kano turned on Shang tsung He shut off his Endless supply of souls. So when doing this It Killed Shang Tsung. The souls went spewing around the room. Quan Chi then realised that if kano could so easily turn on Shang Tsung So easily he could turn on him as well so quan Chi then tried to kill Kano then after Kano dies one of the souls that was spewing around the room Shot in to kano The Soul was lui kang

i liked the game it had nice graphics. The gameplay was awesome. But the one fatality per person isnt enough especially since their is no animilities. I want crazier fatalities as well. After a while everyones fatality seems the same

Oh yes, and the fact that they killed LUI KANG! Those bastards! I hate you for it, but still love you. He was my all time favorite character ever. But that is fine, I will go with my second Raiden, which they did good except no flying torpedo or teleport? Please learn young grasshopper that we, as the consumer and addict of MK, cannot live with out more than one fatality lol.

While playing this game there are numerous advantages to observe and numerous failures to cringe at. Why should you choose Mortal Kombat over other fighting games? I find the fighting is more intricut due to the fact that you have several different fighting styles to choose from ( 2 styles and one weapon style ) for each character. The fighting looks real and it provides hours of endless gameplay. In addition the locations of the fights are very well done and fun to fight in. About half of the character models are well done, but a few are just awfull. The blood is totally unrealistic. In this game you are immediately addicted to its complexity, but in a way its complexity is its downfall. Once all the complex elements of this game have been discovered than it has become a lame game. A lame game meaing the fighting becomes entirely boring and the same thing over and over again because a few key elements are missing in this game, the very elements that made mortal kombat previously stand out against other fighting games. These are the lack of special moves ( some characters only have 2 ) and fatalities. The special moves hardly play a role at all and the fatalities are the worst in the history of all MK games. After the first week of this game being amazing it becomes rather boring to play and looses its luster. This is a good borrower game, but don't buy it. DK was average but I look to the next game in the MK series to be dominating.

GAMEPLAY:
The game is excellent! It has the same pizzazz that the second game in the series had, only much more sophisticated, the fighting is intense and fun! The krypt with the 676 coffins to unlock adds to the longevity of the game. It's possible to search the internet for the content of each coffin, but I recommend that you find out for yourself because that way you'll have more fun playing the game...
GRAPHICS:
The textures are simply breathtaking, lighting and special effects are awesome! Don't compare this game to DOA3 because it's style is very different to that game!
LIFESPAN: 23 characters to master, 676 coffins to unlock, this one will last you for ages...
OVERALL: best bucks I've spent in a loooooong time. RESPECT to you mister Boon...

I thought it was a great game other then the killn of lu i mean come on, but oh well i soon will get over it.. any way the graphics and blood shed are sweet!! the chars could use more then just one Fatality. and i dont like the way they changed johnny cages upper cut.But all and all its a great game.. hope to seen a new one in couple years

MK: DA is THE best fighting game to date!!!!
I've played them all from Tekken 2 & 3, Marvel v.Capcom, Vitua Fighter, even some foreign imports and the originators like Street Fighter and the original Mortal Kombat. Mortal Kombat: DA kicks them all in the a**. It is the hardest fighting game ever.
The makers have taken a game concept that has seen repitition and have put a new mark on how fighting games are played. The new fighting style changes are so sweet. The gameplay will always keep it difficult no matter WHO you are playing.
I sat around for hours learning the moves and my friend challenged me to a game. The first time he played, he was whipping my a**. Knowing all the moves didn't help me out of the coffee grinder and his little gut punches still kept me on my toes. You have to appreciate a game that skillful.

This newest installment of MK is the best to date with the three styles of fighting for each warrior it really gives me the chance to open a can of whoop ass on whichever poor sucker challenges me.. MK4 sucks as it was to slow and lame i went and brought an xbox primarily for this game well done to midway for bucking their ideas up and designing a fighting game worth spending £39,.99 on money well spent if you ask me the only reason i didnt give it 10/10 is because it takes eons to open up all the koffins without cheating and half of them are naff ps scorpion rules

i think this is a really great game and is good for fans of fighting and killing i myself have rent it for a while now and think it is excellent!!! the graghics are GREAT!!!!! and my brother does too.my dad is not too happy cause it is 18 and i am not 18 i am nearly 18 but not yet it is a good game i am gonna try and by it if my mumu and dad lets me.

Wow...this game is sooo sweet...only problem is too many moves...its gonna take forever to memorize them all,combos too...but the graphics are bad ass and sounds are tight...if only it was an xbox live game...

Good points: The good points are so high it makes up for the bad points,I myself am a video game creater.(9 years and running) So I know its not easy to make a game. trust me on that! Ed Boon and the wonderful team he had this round was all it took to blow people back in a chair and make millions! Let alone the best fighting game ever! anyway the game play is fast, fatalities are on the money,switching styles of fighting during play is something unseen to mk! that was a great step up! They finally brought back {Test Your Might} which i was waiting for a long time! The krypt is a great creation which makes the game not boring! and last but not least the expanded vairity of DVD in the game was HOT!!!
Bad Points: Liu Kang this was a great loss in the mk series, fatality's were limited to one per person like in the original mk {One way you can take it is they were trying to start over from scratch!}some classic moves were replaced,took away and some even tamperd with too much Ex.
Cyrax: his Net Grab was turned in to a spinning sharp blade (not that it is not tight but that net damn near made Cyrax)
Sonya B. where the hell is her pink spinning rings,and her mk3 downward bicyle kick.
jonny cages sahdow kick was tamperd with too muck if you watch closly you can amost see threw his body when he makes the attack and last but least theres a coulple glitches not nothin big.
Overall: I tried to judge this game hard as i could and if you have been reading you can see that.There are still way too many good things that stick out stronger over the weaker things.Ask your self what game am i gonna buy the game thats all around screwd or the game that lost a player and picked up hella more and mishapped on a few moves,and picked up incredible graphics with DVD content!!! this game is a perfect 10!!

I thought this game was pretty sweat. But there's only 1 fatality and thats really stupid. I kinda wished they didn't kill Liu Kang. And what about Johnny Cage not punching people in their nuts. Graphics were sweat. Girls' boobs jiggles too much. Reptile looks retarded now. I like how you can impale weapons into people (but sometimes i want it back). Also theres alot of people not in here like two of my favorites smoke, and Noob Sabot (i forget his name). But i loved all the blood and it actually stays there.

Compared to all the other new fighting games that came out this past year,,this one takes the cake.Sure its not perfect,,,the sound could be better and there could been better fatalities.
But come on,,overall its great !!! Midway did a good job.
The graphics are sweet,,there's mad combo's to pull off with the new fighting system and the weapons in this game are mad fun.
I love the size of the arena's as well,,nice and big.
There's plenty of room to run ,battle and bleed.
Sure it dosnt have some of the fighters from past games,,but come on,,they had to make room for some new faces.
Im sure they all grow on us in time,,
just like the other fighters have in the past.
My biggest problem is why it wasnt used with X-box live.
I would love to play people all around the world and find different people to battle who are on the same skill level as I am.Which for the record,,is not very high. smiles
And maybe im perverted ,,but the girls breast are just right,,
what are you guys talking about ?? (heheaahaha)

It's finaly happened the best mortal kombat game that will ever come out. New characters rock sure they're missing some of the old ones but how can you get game play like that and still have every single character there ever was..that's about 30-40 fighters..now I agree with some people saying that their favorite fighter is gone and sure that does suck..for them.but if it really bothers someone that much to have their fighter gone from the game...well to bad cause now you got a new selection to choose from. I am a ninja guy I like sub zero reptile even though they just made a complete mess out of him and scorpion and I'm starting to use frost quite a bit now and it's just a blast.. yes the fact that there is only one fatality per fighter does blow the big one but that just leads you to use other characters to see how they gore up your game just a little bit more..I think the whole coffin surprise thing isn't the best idea but meh if it works.

I think i speak for alot of gamers out there when i say Mortal kombat deadly alliance is the best fighting game of 2002. The new characters are great. I think they should have brought back 2 of the best characters ever in an MK game back for this one. JADE AND RAIN!!! The downsides to this game is the low fatality count and the stupid koffin system. I also hate the way moloch is always using the same punch over and over!! Besides that MK deadly alliance is great!!
