Multiplayer mahem | | Jumpy from uk says (4/Dec/2002): | I have to admit, Iam one of the few who actually liked Fusion Frenzy. Im sorry, but if you stick 4 people together and put that game on...it rocks...play on your own....hmmm not so hot. This game follows a similar route by leaning heavily on the fact you have friends and use a link cable aswell. The System Link offers this game some breathing room in gameplay stopping you trying to second guess every sprite on the screen thinking "die you...oh..its a tree". The games cartoonesque graphics are colourful and smooth. Sound effects are plentyful aswell no doubt done by the same crew that made the Acme cartoon squad. Frantic killing each other deathmatches to king of the hill capers, your average mulitplayer type games. So how ya wanna die?...well, in todays candy store of doom we offer a multitude of weapons, over 30 actually. These featuring Eggyolk-amatic guns to pitch forks. The character appear very different yet play the same.
Admittadly the game offers little new to this genre of game but at least it does it the old stuff well. I admit I finshed the game quite quickly but this did mean we could feast of all the bonus levels and guns later with friends. Theres a clever undertone of bad language which has been deliberatly bleeped over(hmm wonder if I can get it off???).
On a final note the game suffers ultimatly not knowing which audience its aimed at....adults....kids?....who knows...But I do like it. If you like multiplayer games....got mates...get this...loads fun. A big fave is a level in the back of a speeding pcik up truck...youll love it.

The camera is in third person, and has one of the best camera view avilible on xbox. You gain new chareters and weapons as you progress through the game. There are weapons such as a base ball bat, automatic egg gun, homing missles, dodge balls, and much more. The levels are great and offer a wide variety of styles, close sombat, and some for the more hard core deathmatch type levels. There are 4 difficulty levels (very east, normal, hard, and whacked). There are about 8 or 9 chareters that you can use once you beat the game. This is an addictive game. It is great. No to mention you can play it on xox live. So go out there and buy it. it comes in the xbox live starter kit (DEMO only). The grafics are very good, and there is a lot of detail in the levels. The game is all areound good, it is sure to be a hit in my collection
