The game over all there are alot of improvements,I like the fact that they improved there A.I the computer defence,goalie and offences are so much tougher to defened.Scoring on the computer sometimes can make you want to pull yor hair out.But there is nothing for a HATTRICK!!!!!..... and I am still waiting for a hockey game that actually has the all star events like fastest skater,hardest shot etc.And there is no talking like was in NHL 2003.They need to improve the deking the fighting is alot tougher to win then EAS NHL 2003 were you only needed to hit one button.Plus you can't create player in franchise,HOPEFULLY 2004 there you also can break glass,goalies being able to fight plus the masks like Ed belfours eagle,Matry T Demon etc better camera angles for the fights and when you do get in to a fight the players slam there sticks on the side of the boards.Hidden players and teams the crowd to say more.I do not whant sound like a jerk but this xbox not ps2

The graphics are awesome, the season mode is great, and the gameplay is especially fun online. The franchise mode is longer than any other game, but you cannot put create a players in it.
You can still but create a players in season mode but it only lasts a year. The arenas are really lifelike. If you like hockey game this is the one to get. It even has the rosters with some minor league players and the ability to send people to the minors to make room for better players.
