Totally Great Awesome graphics lots of cheats and tough goals you get a great sence of accomplishment when you complete a level or a goal because it is really hard the music is my only complaint i turn the music off and listen to the radio makes it better so it doesnt bother me too much its also cool that you can create your own parks and skaters you can make your skaters fat or skinny pretty or ugly or hot or dorky with logos and colors for certain stuff totally awesome 2 thumbs up

Tony Hawk's pro skater 4 is like one of the greatest games every made. This guy is probaily crying because he can't complete one goal, or he's some 70 year old man who does'nt know what he is talking about. Tony Hawk 4 is a truly a great game.EVERY ONE SHOULD BUY IT!!!

Well folks,Hawk lands yet another 900!This one is by far the sweetest one of the series.Awesome levels,tricks,skaters,gaps...Heck I love pretty much every aspect!I can't wait for Hawk 5 so i can give it a perfect 10.For now though this is as good as it gets for video boarding.Get off yer keaster and go buy it!

Many believe that Tony Hawk skateboarding is a brilliant game. Admittedly, it is the best game on the market, but it is so repetetive, boring, slow and annoying that it will not last you. All the levels consist of drab environments that are all similar, except for the fact that they are called different things and look slightly different. Your silly 'missions' to get money are also repetetive and frustrating. Fo example, you need to impress a bum. Why? If he has the $250 to give to you after hours of attempts to impress him, why is he living in the gutter? The only point in winning the repetetive missions is to win...$250! Basically, all you do with that is buy more skateboards and even more levels to annoy yourself on.
The graphics are average and what is worse is the music and sound. You have a mix of angering heavy metal and boring 'hip hop'. You may as well have 'techno' and 'country' style music for all I care because all the tracks are terrible. How some can survive without turning it off is mind boggling.
But thinking about how people can survive this game is the only way to entertain yourself while playing it. Overall, it is just too repetetive (as said many times before), boring and frustrating to be anywhere near fun. This can be used as a type of therapy, as it is sometimes fun to injure Tony. But sadly, that is all the fun you can get from this load of rubbish, so I warn you now: DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!

THPS4 was the first game I bought for my PS2, andI've been playing it since. The massive combos from the reverts and manuals is a intense feature, taking it up a level from the other THPS versions. The goals are hard, but it's so addictive, you get so close, and you just have to keep trying to get your goals. The only downside is that i don't think I'll ever 100% the game, but I'll keep tryin.

Numba one... Tony Hawk does NOT produce the damn game. Any of you who think he does is a complete idiot. You want a real GOOD game play sega gt 2002. It is awesome!! Now for numba 2... the game rulez. I am not sayin sega gt is betta, but im sayin that if you are in to racing and skateboarding, go for sega gt.

I am very glad I bought this game. The other day I picked up my Dreamcast and decided to play the first Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. I got so hooked on it I decided to catch up and buy the fourth one for my XBox. I was worried at first, because I wondered how similar they would be. However, I couldn't be happier. The graphics aren't the best for Xbox, but are still nice. I think the two best parts are the fact that I can create skaters, shange skaters clothing, and make my own parks. I suggest this game to any extreme sports fan. In fact, I'm thinking about buying a board sometime soon. :)

Im probably one of the only girls that play Tony Hawk im a huge fan.People actually laugh and say that im so popular and play video games is very strange but i love the graphics!!! its almost real!!Im gunna keep playin Tony Hawk every day cause it rocks my world!!!

I love tony hawk`s pro skater 4. Its better than all the other tony hawk`s games. Combos are good when you do the indy 900 into a revert and then a manual so then you can grind on bars or rails for big combos. The goals are pretty hard though. It has improved from all the other tony hawk`s games because whoever has made tony hawk`s 4 has made it harder than the others and put a lot of different tricks on the game. I don`t really think there is any bad things about the game. It`s a game worth completing. You don`t have to completed career mode with every character as well. I hope another tony hawk`s comes out for the xbox.

This is for sure the absolute best Tony Hawk game that has come out. If you liked the last three Hawk games then Tony Hawk 4 is a must buy. The levels are huge, the graphics couldn't get better, it's easy to learn the controls, and you will definetly be playing this game until Tony Hawk 5 comes. There are tons of new challenges such as getting the combo letters, feeding animals at the zoo, and busting out awsome tricks. There are also pro challenges that really put your skills to the test and show how good you are. This game will definetly keep you hooked onto for a while. There is so much to do and so many things to unlock. I haven't set this game down since I got it and would recommend it to any Hawk fan.

I have all 3 consoles and I knew it would be best on the box. Graphics are slightly smoother than the others and you can use your custom soundtrack!! That's what sold ME!! I can't put this game down. It is alot like 3, but it's free roaming now, that makes all the difference in the world. So I can skate around doing what I want listening to The Misfits, The Vandals, what have you, bustin out MAD tricks! If you like the genre, get this game for xbox, or any system for that matter cause it's a GREAT game!!

This is the best game in tony hawk's game ever. It is cool that you have no time limit when you are skating and all the new challanges are really cool. I is also cool because it has slot of cool pro skaters. I think this game has the best codes ever and I like the goal when you have to play tennis agianst the other person. In the carree mode I alaways like pick tony hawk because I think he is the best skater in the game and he also the maker of the game. I think tony hawk has created his best game ever and I think he will get alot more games out in stores for you to buy. This game is beeter then Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1, Tony hawk pro skater 2, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2x, and Tony Hawk 3. So if I was anyone I would buy Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4.
Ps: It is a whole lot better on xbox then any other system out there. So buy this game right now it is alvalible every where right about now so run and get it before the game is gone and you will never have a chance to play it ever again.

Tony hawk 4 was the best tony yet. With all new career mode and different goals in each level it makes it unique to the other tony hawks. not only is the game tough but fun to play and redo goals.
