Very cool game... but seriously... you would think that someone who says "being in the field is the only thing im good at," would be a little better at aiming. It should have an auto aim option on normal dificulty. Bottles are fun to brake, the gameplay is toooooooo realistic, and what would make the game ten times better??? is if while you make a human shield, you could waste them in your arms. rather than knocking them out, just blow thier brains all over your left arm.

i hear people running out of ammo because they depend on a gun to much reminder this is a stealth game not a shoot and hide you have to plan out shoot the lights if u need to don't shoot it if u need to blend in hiding for no guards or cams. i just simply go behind them and put a gun on there head and use them as sheilds or shoot out the lights to make investagate it to die. this game is for skilled people if your not skilled well you better learn and stop complaining.

This game was one of the first games I recieved for my XBox, I recieved it as a gift and have never let it go. I have found that this game is a little confusing for me at least, just because I don't have anything to help me out or anyway to find maps, which is I would think the whole purpose of the game.
I enjoy the challenge that the game gives me, even when I do spend the amount of HOURS playing.
I do rate this game as the top best, and not one of, but the BEST!!!!!

This is to Kris who says that it takes him 4 or 5 shots in the head to kill a guard I go fro the neck and it takes me 1 and when you said I cant get a guard without his buddies noticing I just started playing this game christmas so If you think its hard then maybe you shouldnt play it because it takes me 1 shot and I can easily get out of a room full of guards holding one guard hostage without them seeing me............so my advice is keep trying or stop playing.

cos creepings what this game is all about, small but annoying flaws need to be rectified in the follow up to this title, namely not being able to commendere the gaurds weapons (why do they hold onto them when their unconscious?) and lack of james bond style gadgets, i suppose this is to force you into all that creeping around stuff, but i do enough creeping around my own house so come on next game gizmos gadgets and a bloody great rocket launcher please!!

I have beaten the game already but still go back and play different levels. You can challenge your self by using all stealth or trying to sneak past guards without shooting them. It isnt as fun after you beat it when you go backand play. I hear there is going to be a sequel and I cant wait. This is a spectacular game that none can rival. I dont know why you guys think its hard to save ammo. Stealth is the name of the game not shooting everything 20 times.

I knew the first time I booted up the demo disc that this would be my new favorite game. I hate to be redundant, but I had to give it another perfect 10. I'm not very far into the game yet, but I have to say it is like nothing I've ever seen before. A combination of strategy, skill and careful observation are required to get through. The graphics, as everyoe in this forum has said, are unrivaled, even by Halo. Now if I could just find more time to play!

Unbelievable graphics and game play. The attention to detail is the key here. In alot of ways like metal gear solid but with much more intricate detail. I can't put it down it's taken presedence over all other electrical devices in my home. My wife will probably kick me out of the house pretty soon. Excellent game flow very precise aiming and the stealth capabilities are amazing. If you enjoy first person shooters this is the one to purchase.(Quickly)

i agree with most of the people that say that there is not enough ammo, however i dont go walking round the town and find a box of bullets on a window ledge or in my works office desk. i think that there should be some more ammo given to you at the start of the level and i also think that maybe sam should carry a knife just to make it a little easier than standing infront of some bloke tryin to knock him out with ure elbow. does anyone agree with me??

while not the perfect game, its stearing pretty damn close. The graphical detail is stunning and fascinating to look at.I love the realism of barely having any bullets. My biggest gripe would have to be the strange combat, some guys take 3 hits, some take 1, some take to bullets to the head, some take one (itsa bit unbalenced) but if yu manage to get past this minor quible you will enjoy this taut slow paced thriller.
9/10. one of my fave xbox games.

This game is the best game I have ever played on any console. The best thing about this game is that it is very life-like and challenging. At first i found it a little hard, and as the game progressed it became more fun by the stage. The weapons are great and I think this game is a brilliant idea, the creaters should extremely proud of themselves and i don't think you will find a more exiting game. 10 Out of 10, absolutely magnificent a work of art.

When i first played the game i was amazed at how detailed the story line and game play was. I really like the way that they made it to ware u can do the missions in multiple ways. This game really makes you think. and i love how it scared me half-to-death. not that the gameplay was scary it was just the excitement of the game. i hope they make another. It did Remind me of a shorter Medal Gear...but this game really Blows Medal Gear out of the water!

Splinter Cell is the greatest game ever. It has so much u can do. Every1 says naah not as good as MGS2.. but I disagree.. Its in a league of its of own.. Beats the S*** out of Metal Gear Solid! ..Solid Snake is a wimp compared 2 Fisher. There has never been a game like it!The levels and graphics are suberb!!The gameplay is brilliant! U get totally taken in by it!. I did think it was a little short tho but other than that..its the best game ever!!

Bugger the glitches, this game is what Metal Gear 2 never was (Metal Gear 1 is the best game ever made). It's great that you only have a limited number of bullets so you cant just go round killing everything unless you know the level and every patrol pattern the guards take. And you HAVE to hide every body regardless of what you think is an unused patrol route. A good challenge and a great graphical marvel. A damn good entry to the stealth genre.

splinter cell is probably the best game i have ever played. it has good graphics, good scenes and exellent moves. anyway,when you creep/tiptoe down the stairs and stop, you look like you're floating and it is quite hard to press and know what button it is. when you're playing, nearly every 10-5 minutes, you get killed. this is a very good game and i give it 9 and a halve but this website won't let me put 9 and a halve so i put 10 out of 10

Brilliant game full of strategy and stealth, though I am a die Hard RPG fan I bought this game. And I have no regrets, it has graphics that just enthralled me, the shadowing is brilliant. I rated this game the same way I would rate an extraordinary RPG. I thought Suikoden 3 for PS2 was the greatest game of the year and this game though a different Genre puts it to shame. Sony had better do something if they don't want to lose in sales.

From what I played this is a solid game. The graphics are great and the gadgets are a great addition. The controls are dead on and easy to get after playing through the demo a couple of times. I just hope the levels are long and takes more than just 12 hours to finish. This appears to be "the" game to get this Christmas season if you can find one. By the way, the Official XBOX magazine gave it a 9.7 score. Higher than Halo, I believe.

DONT!!!Waste your money and time byeing those game.SplinterCell blose those two out of the water.-Lets see,the best features of the game is the awsome stealth.You canforce your enemies to cooperate to use the EYE scanner.The awsome moves like the'split jump are real stealthy.I THANK THE MAKERS OF THE GAME--UBISOFT.I hope they can make another cool sequel"Splintercell 2.

Tom Clancy did it again! It's sensational. I thought that Rogue Spear was the best. But Splinter Cell is 1,000 X infinity beter. It's like you're in the game. You have to be swift, stealth, and smart to compleate the awsome graphic, challenging, realistic games. I can't seam to get past the CIA level, but it is the best game ever made. I recremend this game to any one that loves action,is smart in combat, and is swift and stealth.

Those shabby, lousy little developers should've been shot! They can't publish games thats 75% complete!! When creating a game there's certain things that you have to make sure of;
1. That the game is fun
2. That the game is challenging
3. The game guarantees more than 15 minutes of gameplay!
4. That the game has an intro that makes the gamers really excited.
5. The ending is good enough.
This game matches 4/5 ! (=8/10)
