Defender is ok game |

Defender on xbox was a fun game at first. It was very easy at the beggening but later on the widows or what ever the heck thos things were called beat the heck out of me and it got really old realy fast. the game got long and hard realy long and realy hard. this game is only good if you have a freind that likes challenging games and even then the game is hard. you have to share lives and share health that floats above the freaking command center. I personaly think that you should only get this game if you are running low on games to buy or if you have tons of money that you need to get ride of. the controles are easy to use and the practice runs are so easy but they make you do the same thing over and over. sega gt 2002 is funner and i hated that game.Defender needs to get some cheats because it is impossible to beat this game. I am still stuck on mars trieing to protect the comand center from widows and bomber people. If you get this game I caution you to Keep the recet in a special place.

I agree with other reviews that this game rocks however also as previously mentioned in one of the reviews, Mars is impossible to beat. I am trying numerous strategies to keep the Widows at bay as well as the airborne critters. I have managed to wipe out all widows and drop all flying enemy prior to the approach of the huge dreadnaught, however....... I cannot damage it. If I make it through Mars I hate to think of what is install in the asteroid belt, on the moon and ultimately on Earch! This said, it has plenty of replay value and my own music makes it worth it.

This game can definatly be a pain in the a$$. Sometimes, you just never seem to get just the right combination of speed, armor, weapons, etc. But, over all, this is a pretty enjoyable game. You start w/ one of 2 ships and runa basic training mission. Pretty straight forward stuff, but useful. Then on to the missions. Certainly not the Defender of old. Good graphics, OK sound, good title. Rent it first, but I think you like it.

I"m aslo on Marz and have been scouring the internet for game guides to get me past the mars mission. Even though it's hard, it's fun. It's added dimension of rescuing people and converting them to tanks is very much like an RTS as folks have reviewed. I personally have been playing on it nonstop for a whole week. It's that good.

This was a game in which you must have to like fighter jet games. You also must like games where you need to make strategies as you can move tanks into strategic locations. This game was a cross between star-fox and war craft. It was realy an awesome game. It wasnt to hard as long as you knew what to do and when.
