this game is so cool my friends and i played it for hours even thought we beat it in 1 day it was still a lot of fun. It would be better if it was a little bit longer.

Rocky, is it fun, realistic or a waste of time |
| Sam Sedgman from Grimsby, England says (4/Jan/2003): |
I purchased this game having played the one round demo I borrowed from a mate. First impressions were this was an ok game, with good graphics but limited gameplay. A few more plays and I discovered there was more to it, vaired punches, dodges and tactics. What really brings this game into its own is two player side. On this basis alone I went and bought the game, and am now having a lot of fun with it. I'm a huge Rocky fan and have all the films on DVD so I may be a little bias. I think this game does the movie proud, limited in actually game play options, it is still very much fun. You do tend to batter the Keys and I personally find the combos difficult to master. But this is still the best boxing game out there at the moment. Hopefully Rage will create a second with improvements that will give this game a 10. It is true to the film and some of the moves and actions you can see in the film can be seen in this game. I think if they actually brought the actors in and took phrases and adding new commentary would have been a good move. At the moment it seems they have taken dodge soundbites from video tape that lack in quality. Overall a think if your a rocky and boxing fan buy this game, especially on the XBOX...some improvements needed, but I think 8/10 does it justice.

Rented it from Blockbuster and beat it the same night |

Rocky is ok but it's waaaay too easy to beat and the cinemas are cheeeeeesy! I hate when they show a guy mad or laughing and his face stays in exactly the same blank stupid, lifeless expression and his lips barely move (or not at all!) when he's talking.
