OLDSCHOOL GAMER'S REJOICE! |
| A gamer says (29/Nov/2003): |
FINALLY! Finally a TRUE and I mean TRUE Dungeon crawler, this game has endless potention, there truly is no end.
This game deliver's exactly what you'd both expect and what it says it does. No stupid commercials, no bad advertisement just pure Nethack fun.
This game is tough, and I mean tough as nails. You might be thinking "oh this is just too easy i'll just go to the next floor" And then BAM it hits you like a ton of bricks, a new enemy (or updated one) beats your team to spit.
I give this a ten because it gave me exactly what I expected and wanted.
You're going to hate this if you're not a fan of oldschool rpg's, however if you want a dungeon crawler for the Xbox this cheap title is easy to get into and fun to continue.

RPG for Xbox finally moving |
| Dan Richmond from Michigan USA says (19/Feb/2003): |
I thought the game is a good step for xbox they have been a little slow in the rpg gamming. And I think this is a step in the right direction. The story line is almost not there at all but its a great attempt. But for game play i thought it was great the old final fantasy feel. The auto recreating dugeons i thought where nice but a little repetative. But I will keep continue with the game its a great game minus lame story line.

No plot and level repitition kills an otherwise awsome game |
| Adam Baird from Indionapolis, Indiana says (15/Feb/2003): |
I know we've all played some of the old epic rpg's and wanted nothing more than to skip through the plot, but at least there was somthing to skip through. In Metel Dungeon they dont even bother with that aspect. It was a cool game the first time through, with enough mazes and items to keep anyone busy. Now Im on level 27, and other than facing the same bad guy only a little stronger, and some new items, the game gets old real fast. I would even be satisfied with a few cheats, for elemental stones or somthing, but this game is going on the shelf and staying there, I may never see the ending.
