GROOVY |
| angel regimbal from philly pa usof a says (19/Jun/2003): |
first of all let me just say that this is one of the best games i have played since the orignal evil dead game hail to the king. I have never had so much fun choping through deadities and also i love that its not to easy or to hard.when you die its usually not somethig that makes you angry and the wepon selection is the best and the one liners from ash make this game well worth it i would go out and buy it right now at 20 dollars it is the best nvestment you can ever make. Also this game is a must own for any hardcore evil dead orbruce campbell fans.

A NEW LEVEL OF ACTION!!!! |
| Nick from Australia, Melbourne says (29/Oct/2003): |
This is my favourite game, the first game didnt do too well but this one was tonnes better! You can chop up any of the limbs from a deadites and all the combos with the chainsaw are mad.
I wish there were more weapons but they made up for that with the different types of ammo you can get. It's cool how the blood follows the chainsaw to add effect. I think they turned a great horror movie to a great action game. I think it makes it more exciting with the variety of right hand weapons apart from the chainsaw. It's weird how such a great game is been sold at half the price of normal games. One of the best parts about it is that they could get Bruce Campbell the actor who played Ash in the evil dead trilogy to say the 1 liners for the game. It's cool how he flips the gun everytime he reloades the gun. It really adds an element of suprise when a deadite smashes through the wall and grab you if ur not quick. Overall this is one of the best game of all time and should be put in a museum or something.

Worth $20 No Doubt! |
| Jon from Milwaukee, WI says (22/May/2003): |
This is a cool game, well worth the $20 even if you dont like it its better then paying $50 for a game that is no good, but this is a fun game and bloody. It is a must for all evil dead fans and its even Bruce Campbell's voice as ASH so that is worth it in it self. Plus you get to hear great one-liners all through the game.

I liked it but come on, where's the mutilcolored blood? |
| Kahlan Nightwing from Ohio, USA says (22/May/2003): |
I will tell you this: I'm biased. Bruce Campbell is my all-time favorite actor, my obssession. I get everything and anything him. I was in the store saw it, grabbed it, bought it. I didn't care whether it was rubbish or not. However, I've been playing it and I have to say I like it. You got the classic shotgun--ol' double-barrel, shovels, swords, the trusty chainsaw (that never runs out of fuel), and even a gallic gun (Vegeta anyone?)--ah, and we can't forget the flamethrower.
The music is just right for a Ash movie, and the scenes where there's lots of BC script? Yeah.... *clears throat* Anyways, it's only twenty bucks--pocket change when compare to DBZ Budokai or Devil May Cry.
The graphics definitely make Ash "devilishly" good-looking, and they even include a movie that shows scenes from Evil Dead and Bruce Campbell and the game's creators talking about how they made it. Watch it to prepare yourself for--stuff and stuffs.
The neatest thing? You hardly have to touch the instruction manual to play the game. It's hack and slash, blood flying everywhere as your chainsaw rips the Deadites into pieces that may still come crawling right after you. Ash can even perform spells, but make sure you have the stuff in your spellbook or he basically forgets the 'niktu'.
The video quality isn't the same as Evil Dead. Some of the lines are classic, but some are--well, Bruce is older...give him a break!
Usually, in a game, I die multiple times. As long as you keep swinging and shooting however, you can pretty much stay alive. You can even fight with both hands, so shooting the Deadite behind you and hacking the one in front is a piece of cake for Ash!
I'm going to enjoy this game. Just the tension that builds up once Ash kicks open another Deadite-infested building is enough to make shivers go up your spine.
Three things to say about this game: "Bring it on!", "Come get some!" and "Groovy!"

Guns, Bombs, Dead People, Monsters, Blood What More Would You Want? |
| David Crow from Phoenix Arizona USA says (3/Jun/2003): |
This has to be one of the more fun games if played in a while. Because of the awsome combos with the chainsaw like shoving it in their chest and let the blood fly and to get them off the chainsaw you blast them with your shotgun. Another plus to the game is the countless ammount of dead people you fight at one time. I would recomend this game to anyone who likes creepy kill everything games.

IT RULES!!!!! |
| Ray Nugent from Bordentown,NJ,USA says (28/Jul/2003): |
I have been waiting fo this game to come out since i sa it on G4. I love the Evil Dead movies. I watched Evil Dead 2 over 1 hundered times. I was skeptical though since the first evil dead game sucked for the ps1 but this game really makes up for that and much more. anyone who has 20 bucks in there pocket should run out and get it.

All I want and a lil more |
| B. J. Dubbeldam from San Jose C.A. US says (18/Aug/2003): |
This game is Great, the whole game is kinda the fourth movie. Following up on what already hapened, Ash knows what to do and right away starts blasting deadite faces. This game takes a whole lot of thinking and just when you completed a puzzle, another one is linked up to it. Even though this might be a lil irritating, The game still gives you plenty of time killing foul creatures with a arsenal of weapons, upgraded bullets, spells and cool moves, making the wait a lot more fun. Even the story is pretty good. No game is perfect, but for 20$ this game comes verry close to it.

great yet repetative |
| Eric SEXton from georgia, MA says (31/Aug/2003): |
I enjoyed this game very much but did anyone else notice that first you would kill zombies then the zombies got more intense and strong then you got better weapons and fight a boss the zombies would be easy again (because of the weapons)2x more then it is over dont get me wrong notice I gave it an 8 but the repetition of is what lowered it to an 8

Good, Bad, He's The one with the gun |
| Mike Rogers from Ellwood, PA says (1/Jun/2003): |
I highly anticipated this game top come out and was very skeptical when I saw the 19.99 price tag. I thought Uh Oh thats a bad sign. But guess what! Both evil dead fans and beat em up fans get the treat of a lifetime with this awesome game. Visually Its very impressive as well as ash one liners and some great tension building music at times. I am a hardcore evil dead fan and since we may or may not ever see ED4. This really is the next best thing. I loved hail to the king and feel this actually improved upon the things i disliked from the first game. For Instance. You can actually stay alive without a cheat code and play control once learned is very fluid and dreamy. So what are you waiting for? Go get some!!
