For those of you who wish Jurassic Park's building engine were more diverse and advanced, i.e. (as previously stated), power plants, supply depots, etc., you must realize that this game was not meant for such purposes. If you want a game with extreme building prowess, you can certainly find them elsewhere on the market, though probably only for PC. This game was created to provide joy, excitement and wonder at the world of dinosaurs, which seems so far away, with the added perk of maintaining a small park with visitors and the usual necessities. Though I do agree there are a limited amount of buildings to choose from, it does not take away at all from the game's utter beauty.
This game is not only for children, but for all ages, in my opinion. I am 16 and I couldn't have asked for anything more in a game like this. From the first moment I took hold of the controller and saw my first dinosaur emerge from the hatchery, I was mesmerized. This game is beautiful in every way. I have been playing for over a month and a half now, in the same five-star park as I began when I first got the game, and I am no less amazed every time I watch my "babies" running around, happy and free almost as though they were alive. I feel frustration and distress when my dinosaurs die, or when their needs are not met, and I certainly pay more attention to them than I do my visitors. Site B (unlocked when you finish all of the Missions) is a perfect way to rid yourself of the responsibility of maintaining a fantastic park for people, and to instead focus your attentions on maintaining your dinosaurs. The only downside is that you are not alerted whenever a dinosaur dies, which can become troublesome.
Also, there are cheats, quite a number of them. There are money, weather, and park cheats. However, I will not digress.
In any case, if you are a fan of dinosaurs, and wish to see them in a quasi form of action, then this is a worthwhile buy. It doesn't do the game justice merely to rent it. To realize the full entertainment value of the game, you have to spend a little time with it. It's brilliant.

I love this game!Im 9 years old.I have liked dinosaurs since I was 2!Operation Genesis is awesome!T-Rex is my favorite dinosaur !I like letting the T-Rex and the Spinosaurus FIGHT!!The game makes me feel like I am in Jurassic Park!!!!!!!!! If you don't like this game than poop on you. Don't think because I'm a little kid that I don't know anything. This game is one of my favorites!!!!! You absolutely have to love it! I love dinosaurs and everyone should. My sister, who is 11 loves raptors! Don't ask me why she watched the movie Lost World and her favorite scene was when the raptors ate the people!! Back to the game, the game is so realistic and has nice features. You can't even imagine unless you get the game. Do yourself a favor and try out the game. The game is the best in the world!! As so I said!! You'll love it!!!!!! Absolutely and positively love it!!!! If you ever get the chance release the T-rex and the spinosaurous and the same time!!! They will go at eachother. if you want to have a really good reputation for dinosaurs actully seen dont put in atractions or anything just build the park as normal then let all the herbivores run free around your guests but guets get really freaked out when they see an 80 ton brachiosaurus commin towards them so let the big herbvores out away from the guets but usally they just stand there staring at whatever passes there noses like stegosaurus,ouranosaurus,and kentrosauus are usally good.but its funny when youve got like 100 visitors delete all your park entrances and let all the carnivours out (note.if you vale your herbivoures isolate them fast) and then press (note.for x box only)lll,left left left and all your carnivoures go on a rampage and eat all your guest spinosaurus is the best for any destruction rampage job acrocanthasaurus and chacharodontosaurushave no reputation for anything just getting in the wayall the time but t-rex well ...... there good for kahos i guess everything is allways kahotic in my t-rex pen(xbox jurassic park operation genisis not site b only)

I think this Jurassic Park has a lot of potential as it is good fun hatching the dinsaurs and watching them go through their daily lives and it has got really good graphics and the dinosuars do have AI but the thing that really puts this game down is that it is really limited into what buildings you can put in as you can't really add much to it just a few attractions like viewing vent or veiwing dome and you can only pick 3 digging sites at a time out of 9 sites which is crap because at the time you can have a max of 9 different type of dinosuar at one time out of a possible 24 or summut like that. also the gameplay is rather limited as when i got it, on my first night of playing it i got my park rating to 5 stars and after that it's just doing it again but whith different dinosaurs. if the people who made this do a follow up i suggest they add more buildings and more dinsaurs for instance putting flying dinosaurs in it and . overall it is a alright game but not good.

This is one of the best games in the **** wrold! The anoucers tell the guests threw a micro phone that their is a baybe dinosaur in the hatchrey. The bad part is that is is rated teen, Who cares if its rated teen every body sees blood once in a while. It is so col to watch a dinosaurs fight over tertiory, socialize and eat the living guts out of one anothor. and the grhaphis are just beautiful, the warter refexinon r sweet. It is so cool that dinosaurs in this games have differnt feelings for each other. My personal favorite dinosaur in this game is velosraptor,i can"t spell it right, I like them because they hunt in a pack one come from the side one comes from the other side one comes from the behind and one from the front and if their is olny on of them it is hard for them to take down big game like stegosaurous. Even if You don't like dinosaurs, u should get this, later.

Jurassic park operation genesis is by far, the best game that blue fang published. its got the best graphics and gives you a picture of what dinosaurs did. The models give very good bone structures and make the dinosaurs look very realistic. If anyone needs you can contact me because i have a lotta cheats for jurassic park and they all work. my e-mail is on the screen. If u dont have jurassic park u r really missing out so go to a store and buy it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's just like being in the movie, like you are John Hammond. I love it, my favs are Brachiosauros and of cours Rapters and Spinos. I just wish the mouse and keyboard didn't turn out so jerky. It's hard to fly and shoot in the helicopter with the poor mouse control.I hope they make an expansion pack that fixes those bugs. By the way? Why does the T. Rex always rampage like every 5 minutes? And I wish that girl would shut up because she says people are leaving and you check, but they leave cause they've had enough. Duh, No one wants to stay in a zoo or park forever, you'd run out of money. :-) Someone needs to tell her that. Jurassic Park Operation Genesis for the X box console is a
great experience if you are lucky enough to play it. Especially if you are a fan of the movies and you want your own
park. Also, if you are feeling a bit devious, you can screw things up and send your dinosaurs on a murderous rampage!
The graphics are good, much like you would expect on a sim such as this, and the sound is very good as well. Unless you just do not like sims, you will enjoy this game. The only bad things are the fact that your tourists are complete nitwits. Some of my attractions they haven't even bothered to look at, much less
ride them. (safari adventure) That really is a problem when you want your visitors to get the best jurassic park experience you
offer. Great Game!

Universal interactive and Bink video had jsut released their newest game for the jurassic park franchise. And overall teh game ensures you sleepless nights. Choose twenty five different species of dinosaurs and watcgh them has they perform daily routines such as socializing, eating, drinking and hunting. teh dinosaur AI is what makes this game great. (I personally like seeing my Acroncanthosaur scratch herself like a cat.)Of course this game isn't that great. FIrst off, the buildings: For a 3D park building sim as it's called there is not alot of buildings that would make the game more logical to what you'll really need in real life such as powerplants and supply depots. I still think this game is perfect for any dino-ethusiast.

The raptors look cool I love the T-rex The Spinosaurs is pretty cool :). LoL You can have Twisters (lol some of my dinos got picked up by the win then died lol. i love this game it has good graphics and the 3d dinos look realistic . the good thing about the game is the wide range of dinos and the attractions. the bad thing about it is that you cant get many visitors (max 100) and the dinos (max 60)and there are lots of attractions but ther should be different stuff e.g.bird cage and an dino aquarium. also they should be able to have all the dinos of there dreams and more dinos. also they should have more disasters. the sound is brilliant theres lots of missions and exercises. the environment is real, the sounds of birds. i hope a number 2 comes out soon with more dinos, attractions, disasters and more people to come into the park.

This game has great graphic. But it is really hard to make a good park because visitors always die even if you have a lot of bathrooms and places to eat. the people are just stupid. And i have to put the cost to get in even lower than a hundred dollars. plus you have to put food stands and stuff outside so they don't die because you loose 5,000 dollars for each person that die unless you put the alarm on. and even if you get a good park a stupid tornado will show up and reck every time. But the good thing about this game is how realistic the game looks, and how you get to build the shape of the island , how many tree's it has, and how many mountains and rivers it has.

Dis game is seriously the best the only problems are you cant get all the differant types cos you can only unlock 3 sites i think if you made more attractions and loads more stuff it would be da best game ever hope they make a 2nd game but if they do they should make more stuff happen like more escapes and have hellicopter tours or train tours and stuff like dat. The game is so like the films and i love site B, i discovered that the t rex and the spinosaurus fight in a special way. First of all the t rex must be older or it will be scared of spiney and if they meet watch carefully, when they roar at the same time they do special moves, the rex will bite and kill spiney or spiney will break rex's neck and will let out a huge roar, it won't happen all the time. but if only there were cheats for all dinos and male dinos on site b for the playstation two

This game rocks.I just got it not long ago i got to site B and now it is cool.I like the missions & exercises.It is a cool game and i have only been playing it for a while.i dont care if it had bad graphics or not.I just love the raptors and the spino.I also like how u can get stars faster with a dino with more stars than just 2 or 1 like daryosauras.Some dino's i have never seen befor.Like acrocanthrasauras.Im up all night playing this game and now i just cant stop playing the game.

This game is brilliant besauce of the graphics and game play. The gaphic are awsome when you looking though one of the veiwing vents and you zoom in, you can see all of the detail. The gme is the best. It is brilliant when there is a break out and you have to save all of the visitors. It is also good just watching all of the dinosaurs play and kill each other.
Cheat-£10,000 = down up+left triger If it dosen't work at first just try doing it very quickly.
