Raw 2 is a good game... But I have found some glitches. | | A gamer from North Carlonia, USA says (18/Sep/2003): | Raw 2, good graphics, awesome moves, awesome story mode. Awesome variety of matches, alot of new stuff to the wrestling video game era. I have found some glitches:
Cheap Computer: Staying down on every move was really realistic, unfortuantely, occasionally the computer will kick you and pin you, and you wont get up right away after the kick out. And he will kick you and pin you over and over again for about 2 minutes until he wins. I've found it to be quite annoying.
Interference is completely screwed up: When your enemy interferes to make YOU lose, he beats up your opponent and its almost like he is your ally.
Freezing: The game freezes about 2-3 times per day while its loading.
Occasional Title Glitch: One time I was in a title match, and my enemy interfered... after he got out, I beat the champion and won. After the match, the game gave the title to the enemy that had interfered in the match.
Slight Focus Glitch: Occasionally your character will focus on the referee for no reason, and itsh ard to focus back on your opponent.
The refs BLOW: all but one of the refs count as slow as crap. IN the season mode in the 10 minutes, its hard to get a win by pinfall within the 10 minute period, even after about 5 finishers.
Players Sumbit too easy: If you beat your opponent down with punches and kicks for about 30 seconds and only do one or 2 moves, it only takes 2 submissions before the guy taps out. It's really cheap.
One Last Thing: All the things you can do in season are awesome. Unfortunately, the cooler features only work 1 out of 10 times.
But apart from those glitches, (and few ohter minor ones)
The game is really good. I hope to see some of these glitches removed in future raw titles, if raw decides to pull a smackdown and release 20 games.
(check these glitches just to make sure its not just my copy)

It also has Brock Lesnar. And to top it all off is has san diegos rey mysterio. but it sucks because kane has his mask. if you want to know how to take it off go to cheatplanet. com to see.(i created him without it but he looks like if the makers would've made him like that). so overall this game kicks smackdown hctp ass. but i still don't know how to unlock the hidden superstar like it says to submit the cheat in the menu. GOLDBERG kicks ass but they could've put more effort in making his spear look like he does it when he gets in the corner like on tv. but rey mysterios moves are so cool like the 619. it looks so real like if your watching a real live smackdown.

Raw 2 has better graphics cool new CAS,and it's cool in royal rumble because not only can you hit your opponent out of the ring but if you get him near the ropes you can push him that is how it is in real life. I know that to get a shot takes a $#< remove me > at ! load of time but it's worth it,plus this game has more than smackdown here comes the pain. that arron dude has tobe a idiot to hate it and more stupid to buy it. p.s loser arron or whatever it is.
| raw2 can be made better in raw3 | | steve from chino,california,usa says (25/Apr/2004): | raw2 rocks out of all wwe games and i should know because i have n64,ps1,ps2,gamecube,and xbox.out of the games:no mercy,smackdown,smackdown2,smackdown3,smackdown4,raw1,and raw2,raw2 is best.raw2 does have some bad things like kane is wearing his mask and he comes out with the old version of his music and has the entrance video with him not wearing the mask.also i cant beat ladder matches or tlc. it is hard to get the title shot at season. raw 2 does not have elemanation chamber matches and there is no blood. you cant go back stage during matches and fight there.if raw 3 has all that now when it comes out it will be the best game ever. there is good things too like it has the best graphics and it ha hell in the cell. they have my faverite match wich is table match. i win every time in that match.it has the world heavy weight title wich is my faverite title.the create your own superstar mode is awsome because you can put your own music on your entrance and the pyro is so cool because it sounds and looks real.as soon as raw 3 comes out i am going to buy it. so rock on.

But smackdown hctp is just better.There is no burried alive matches or Iron man matches.Kane has a mask.You cant go backstage in a hardcore match.In Raw 3 they could include more features that top smackdown hctp like you can fight in the audience and blood.But the graphics are great, you can choose from a great selection of moves and taunts, put your music on it from your hardrive,The season mode is great especially once you have an array of tittles and competions won.Hell in a cell is amazing the ladder and TLC matches are quite tricky.But it is just like watching Raw live with the enrances and videos and pyros.The interference in season mode is good. Personally i think Undertaker has the best moves like the last ride,choke slam and the tombsone and side walk slam,The royal Rumble match is the best match and it isn't hard to eliminate superstars,but in season mode the matches are unrealistic like Undertaker would'nt fight Spike Dudley 3 times in a row.So Raw 2 is an amzing game but could be better I can't wait for Raw 3.

raw2 is better tha smackdown. it has much better graphics. more wrestlers. legends suck so we don't need them in raw 2 get the picture. the season mode could be better if u could unlock more and if u could choose wut to say and if u could here the wrestlers talk but overall get raw 2 forget sd5 i loved it for the first 2 days. than i stopped playin it. as for raw 2 i am still playin it and it is the best game ever!!!!!
for the suckers who didn't like raw2, f*** all hahahahahahahaha!!!!!!! just kiddin
get it you s.o.b's get the game or i will kill u well the orld has spoken grab your torches and hed back to your houses and buy an xbox if u don't have it and than u will find out that the worlds champ hhh doesn't like u.....

I have been a fan of wrestling for years and years! Haha and I got to say, Raw 2 is the best WWE game Ive ever played.
Couple of things pissed me off though :P
1. NO BLOOD!?!!? THATS NOT THE WWE I KNOW!
2. When the computer goes to pin you..WILL HE EVER STOP!?!?!
3. They have NWO shirts..But no entrance music??
4. WHERES EDDIES CAR?!?!
5. Stone cold needs to drink beer in the ring!
6. The undertaker isnt a bad ass anymore! HES THE DEADMAN!
7. Give us more then 2 pyros in CAS!
8. We need more entrances! The edit ones suck
9. Let us fight backstage! And if possible the parking lot
10. We needs to unlock old school wrestlers in the game!
Yeaa so thats all I got :P Raw 3 better kick ass people!

-Its missing the 60 ironman, elimination, 8 man tag team, bras and panties matches, ect.
-Its missing the US, Intercontinental and Harcore championships.
-AS everyone has mentioned Kane has his mask and his intro video dosent.
-You cant unlock old school wrestlers like Bret and Owen Hart.
-The season mode sux. It has no story line. Every single season you do the exact same thing over and over again.And in season the matches are unrealistic.
-U can only have a very little
amount of teams in creat a team.
-Their are several missing superstars like orlando jordan, sable and scotty 2 hotty.
- Rey mysterio and John Cena cant do their finishing moves the 619 and the FU.
- the computer will pin over and over until you have to quit.
- And my most hated thing...
The Ladder and TLC matches. Its practicly impossible to get the belt. And then in season u sometimes have to defend your titles (which by the way are very hard to get) in a Ladder match. I find that very unfair.
But of course their are the good things.
-I love the creat a superstar mode, you can personalize everything and their entrances are like watchin live wrestlin.
-I love the superstars and their moves.
-I like the matches like royal rumble and hell in a cell
-I also like the tag team matches
-And the graphics are ok to.
All in all i like the game but i in RAW 3 they fix all the things i have mentioned. Good luck Anchor. Im out like Booker T vs John cena 4 the US Championship.
| best game ever in the USA | | nick from unitedstates sd siouxfalls says (27/Nov/2004): | ok the game is auwsome.but some things i noticed aboute it is I think you should be able to controll them back stage like when your match is up you dont have to go oute you can fake a really bad ingury and not go or you can beat up the guy back stage that you have a match with.and if the makers are going by reviews on how to make wwe raw 3 do NOT involve money.and i think that you shoulde be able to create yore own championship belts and they shoulde have like on wwe smackdown vs raw create your own ppv.
and ll the main events like special referee 8 8 8 man tag and 20 man battleroyal off the top ropes and during exbhidition too you should be able to go back stage when ever you want.and most of all I think it should be like gta san andreas to where you dont always have to be at the arenayou can go shopping and stuff but in a store and you can go home and watch live raw or smack down and you need to pay for ppv's and when youre not suppose to be there you can go any way.and another way to make it is to where during ppv you can controll backstage.so wwe raw 2 is an auwsome game but it could be better.if you want to email I've posted i,m nick

seasonmode to wear you you can hear them talk.
during backstage let you choos what you say.
be able to beat up people backstage
it should have blood.
the reason why i like the game is because your own soundtracks
and another way they could make it better is to wear in hell in a cell you can pull oute wheapons from the apron.
and another that i noticed is the review aboute the medics and the anouncer getting badly hurt i defintly agree with that.
it should be that way on all of.and imost definitly agree to go in th crowd.
for wwe raw 3:they should make the crowd look almost like the wrestlers but in diffrent close like pedestrien close.
and i think that the game shoulde be like grand theft auto to wear you dont have to be at the arena

| THE BEST OF THE BEST | | Hpone from Singapore says (7/Aug/2004): | I've gotta to tell u people out there that this is the best game ever in the whole of WWE. I have played it before and i gotta admit it's better than Smackdown Here Come The Pain. For example, in a Hell In A Cell match, if u are using Undertaker (who is my fav wrestler), u can chokeslam a person on top the cell and throw him down onto the announcer's table which will result in a Knock Out (KO). You can also use a 20 ft ladder to grab a belt which will be a lot easier than the normal ladder but it's very rare and u can only get it sometimes. You can also use a chair to launch an attack by stepping on it for some momentum. That's all i have for now as it's my friend who has it not me. (in my e-mail, in the word "Millon", the first l is a lower case and the second l is a Capital L. Thanks)

I mean On smackdown! 5 you can be Kane unmasked and on Raw 2 you can't or at least i haven' t com acros him. It could also have Jeff Hardy, Michael Cole, Jerry "the king" Lawler, Tazz, Shelton Benjamin, Charlie Haas, Miss Jackie, Sable, Jim Ross, Faarrooq, Scotty 2 hotty, Rosie and Jamaule. Yet it does hav its up sides like on this game If you create a superstar You can mak it so the announcer calls your superstar by up to 4 names and you can stael, set a trap, Select a manager and other stuff. I herd this rumor Mordecai, Eugene Dinsmore and Bradshaw with his whole name will be on Raw 3 if the decide to bring it out, I also herd it will be on the XBOX 2. Another good thing about it is if your in a hurry but you want to watch the limo bit and A superstar is both WWE Champion and World Heavy Weight champion instead of it going WWE CHAMPION... then World Heavy Weight champion... It does it in 1 UNDISPUTED CHAMPION... Another bad thing about is it doesn' t do the Rock and Randy Orton's Theme musics right To more bad things are.
1. If your are trying to create Evolution on CREATE A TEAM there is only 3 slots so 1 superstar canot be on it
2. If say your favorit superstar is like mine The Undertaker and he is the WWE Champion unles u set a trap on the challenger he may lose the title and even if you do set a trap he may still lose. I could go on and On listing good and bad things about this game but why should i when i can rate it in 1 number /10 1 being lowest and 10 being highest i give it a 9. Nearly Perfect. I have a few cheats here

This is all coming from a 14 year old, im a game fanatic. it is definetly worth the money. The only down side to the game is, there is no elemination matches, braw and pante, 8-man tag team. Otherwise the game is great, each superstar has their custom intro, moves/signature. I love it, if you don't like this game, then the only way to find something better is to become a wrestler. I guarantee that you will like it. BUT, the best of everything in the game is easily season mode. me a friend just played season for about 4 hours straight. Whats so good about this i hear u say. well you have a whole year (in the game)to be prepared for wrestlemania. so you have different matches some for belts some are just a friendly match. you different wwe outlets. like raw and smackdown and ppv. you and some other people have one match each every ppv or whatever. you have a list of options that gives you a choice to do things like attack someone you hate (i hate brock lesnar, a-train, kurt angle and matt hardy ( because he cheated against rey mysterio at wrestlemania 19. now back to raw 2. you could set a trap, you can steal stuff, you can just rest and thats about it. so bassicaly this is best wrestling game i've ever played. rey myserio 619...............................................................................................................................

Also they should have a 30 man over top rope match and have a 20 man battle royal. rent it b4 you buy it though just to make sure. i like how you can create your own character and take the music off you xbox hard drive. | WWE RAW 2 - SmackDown beater? | | Fran93 from Liverpool, England says (5/May/2004): | I have RAW 2 and Here Comes The Pain, and I have to say - honestly - both games are about even. SmackDown has a flawless combat system, but $#< remove me > at ! graphics. RAW has great graphics and a near-perfect CAS mode, but the combat system is very sluggish and slow, and the roster isn't up to date. (Neither are the superstar attires, but you can change them, which is another good thing.) Kane has a mask, Crash Holly is there, and Billy kidman has a PONYTAIL?! No-one can get Kidman right. Also, no unlockable legends like on SmackDown!, and no unlockable movesets. Plus you can't give someone a CAS moveset, and you can't perform your enemy's finisher. I hope they put Elimination Chamber and Eddie Guerrero's lowrider in RAW 3. Those are some sweet wheels. So I'd say, they're both as good as each other. Good and bad points in both games.
