It might not have any blood and stuff that Here Comes The pain, and old school wrestlers, but I think its the best WWE game they ever had. And the Bad thing about this game is Rey Mysterio can't do the 619, and John Cena can't do the Fu. If you creat a super star you can Make him/her do some moves that you can't do on Here comes the pain. For example, I created a wrestler who can do moves that you have never seen. He can choke slam the person he's fighting. This is only for a Hell in a cell match. And you can pick the way you want your person to fight like. But the person you fight like you do the same moves and same specials. Holla at a player

I mean On smackdown! 5 you can be Kane unmasked and on Raw 2 you can't or at least i haven' t com acros him. It could also have Jeff Hardy, Michael Cole, Jerry "the king" Lawler, Tazz, Shelton Benjamin, Charlie Haas, Miss Jackie, Sable, Jim Ross, Faarrooq, Scotty 2 hotty, Rosie and Jamaule. Yet it does hav its up sides like on this game If you create a superstar You can mak it so the announcer calls your superstar by up to 4 names and you can stael, set a trap, Select a manager and other stuff. I herd this rumor Mordecai, Eugene Dinsmore and Bradshaw with his whole name will be on Raw 3 if the decide to bring it out, I also herd it will be on the XBOX 2. Another good thing about it is if your in a hurry but you want to watch the limo bit and A superstar is both WWE Champion and World Heavy Weight champion instead of it going WWE CHAMPION... then World Heavy Weight champion... It does it in 1 UNDISPUTED CHAMPION... Another bad thing about is it doesn' t do the Rock and Randy Orton's Theme musics right To more bad things are.
1. If your are trying to create Evolution on CREATE A TEAM there is only 3 slots so 1 superstar canot be on it
2. If say your favorit superstar is like mine The Undertaker and he is the WWE Champion unles u set a trap on the challenger he may lose the title and even if you do set a trap he may still lose. I could go on and On listing good and bad things about this game but why should i when i can rate it in 1 number /10 1 being lowest and 10 being highest i give it a 9. Nearly Perfect. I have a few cheats here
1. Rey Mysterio's Real mask
Go to Create A Superstar and select "Create". Select Rey Mysterio, then go to "Appearance 1". Select "Mask", and go to "Misc". Select "15". You can change the color if desired. Then, select "Accessories" (still under "Mask") and choose "4". You now have Rey Mysterio's real mask. You can also change it in "Appearance 2".

The bad things about it is:NO J.HARDY,NO SHANE MCMAHON,NO ELIMATION CHAMBER,NO FARROQQ AND NO NATHAN JONES!Come on who would'nt want Nathan Jones.I like the create-your-superstar thing,thats cool.
And,the hell in the cell matches are great.So is the table and the armegeton matches.I think Raw3 should have the No's I listed up there^.I love the game and if anyone says this game sucks they can all SHUT THE HELL UP!Once Raw3 comes out Im goin to buy it.I heard a RUMOR that there making SMACKDOWN VS. RAW for PS2 and X-BOX!

I have been a fan of wrestling for years and years! Haha and I got to say, Raw 2 is the best WWE game Ive ever played.
Couple of things pissed me off though :P
1. NO BLOOD!?!!? THATS NOT THE WWE I KNOW!
2. When the computer goes to pin you..WILL HE EVER STOP!?!?!
3. They have NWO shirts..But no entrance music??
4. WHERES EDDIES CAR?!?!
5. Stone cold needs to drink beer in the ring!
6. The undertaker isnt a bad ass anymore! HES THE DEADMAN!
7. Give us more then 2 pyros in CAS!
8. We need more entrances! The edit ones suck
9. Let us fight backstage! And if possible the parking lot
10. We needs to unlock old school wrestlers in the game!

| SEASON MODE DAMN BORING! | | THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR says (23/May/2004): | The game has great graphics and all, but the SEASON IS DAMN BORING! There is no story lines like in HERE COMES THE PAIN for the PS2. It has no action, no adrenaline, the thing of putting your own songs was great, or editing your characters, is awesome too. But its damn boring to see that season mode, just skipping all matches, and wondering if you do a surprise attack on someone, if you call someone, or set a trap for a wrestler and those "enemies" that the game put you randomly.
In my opinion GREAT GRAPHICS, GREAT GAMEPLAY, bad FUN FACTOR, like someone said after a few days the game does not have any more to leech from it. In HERE COME STHE PAIN, you can play season over and over again and get diferent entertaining story lines.
If RAW 3 is coming out PLEASE DO A RESPECTFULL WRESTLING WWE FOR THE XBOX (well old WWF was the thing, WWE nowadays sucks!).
Well Legends showdown is coming in, so i guess we gamers have another choice. CYA ALL
| WWE RAW 2 - SmackDown beater? | | Fran93 from Liverpool, England says (5/May/2004): | I have RAW 2 and Here Comes The Pain, and I have to say - honestly - both games are about even. SmackDown has a flawless combat system, but $#< remove me > at ! graphics. RAW has great graphics and a near-perfect CAS mode, but the combat system is very sluggish and slow, and the roster isn't up to date. (Neither are the superstar attires, but you can change them, which is another good thing.) Kane has a mask, Crash Holly is there, and Billy kidman has a PONYTAIL?! No-one can get Kidman right. Also, no unlockable legends like on SmackDown!, and no unlockable movesets. Plus you can't give someone a CAS moveset, and you can't perform your enemy's finisher. I hope they put Elimination Chamber and Eddie Guerrero's lowrider in RAW 3. Those are some sweet wheels. So I'd say, they're both as good as each other. Good and bad points in both games. | raw2 can be made better in raw3 | | steve from chino,california,usa says (25/Apr/2004): | raw2 rocks out of all wwe games and i should know because i have n64,ps1,ps2,gamecube,and xbox.out of the games:no mercy,smackdown,smackdown2,smackdown3,smackdown4,raw1,and raw2,raw2 is best.raw2 does have some bad things like kane is wearing his mask and he comes out with the old version of his music and has the entrance video with him not wearing the mask.also i cant beat ladder matches or tlc. it is hard to get the title shot at season. raw 2 does not have elemanation chamber matches and there is no blood. you cant go back stage during matches and fight there.if raw 3 has all that now when it comes out it will be the best game ever. there is good things too like it has the best graphics and it ha hell in the cell. they have my faverite match wich is table match. i win every time in that match.it has the world heavy weight title wich is my faverite title.the create your own superstar mode is awsome because you can put your own music on your entrance and the pyro is so cool because it sounds and looks real.as soon as raw 3 comes out i am going to buy it. so rock on.

Smackdown has a more up to date roster.
Better graphics.
Better gameplay.
Better match types.
Better referees.
Better AI.
Better and simpler controls.
I could go on and on..
I have both PS2 and a XBOX.. and Smackdown is a far better game than Raw 2. Hell Smackdown 1-4 are better than the Raw Series!!!
The only good things about Raw are the Graphics and the custom soundtracks..

The AI is laughable.. the CPU just tries to pin you and pin you and pin you sometimes until you cant tap the buttons anymore! lol.. its just horrid im sorry..
I just wish some of you would wake up because if you think this is a good game your either 12 or your an XBOX FAN BOY.. unlike me who is just A GAMER.. end of story..
If somethings bad i will say it is. If people settle for CRAP games will never get any better..

I think they should have better hidden wrestlers, personally to have some oldie wrestlers, like Ultimate Warrior, Demolition, and Bret 'Hitman' Hart wouold be really cool. It sorta sucks that there's no Elimination Chamber and you can't go backstage in hardcore matches. But, the graphics are awesome, I like that you could add your own music - I changed Undertakers music to the version without the bad singing from WWE Anthology and my created wrestler comes out to METALLICA - Lets see Smackdown games let me do that! I just hope they make Raw 3 and add the things missing from this game and it'll be the ultimate wrestling game. I don't like that it's so hard to get the belt down from the ladder matches and the current music for some superstars are replaced by older versions, like RVD's and Kane's. Speaking of Kane, I think it's really weird to have Kane wearing a mask and have his Titantron movie playing with him not wearing it - I hope there's some sort of cheat or way to have him take it off. But, I give this game 8 out of 10, I knoe it could be better, but it's the best out there right now, including any other wrestling game for any other console.

But smackdown hctp is just better.There is no burried alive matches or Iron man matches.Kane has a mask.You cant go backstage in a hardcore match.In Raw 3 they could include more features that top smackdown hctp like you can fight in the audience and blood.But the graphics are great, you can choose from a great selection of moves and taunts, put your music on it from your hardrive,The season mode is great especially once you have an array of tittles and competions won.Hell in a cell is amazing the ladder and TLC matches are quite tricky.But it is just like watching Raw live with the enrances and videos and pyros.The interference in season mode is good. Personally i think Undertaker has the best moves like the last ride,choke slam and the tombsone and side walk slam,The royal Rumble match is the best match and it isn't hard to eliminate superstars,but in season mode the matches are unrealistic like Undertaker would'nt fight Spike Dudley 3 times in a row.So Raw 2 is an amzing game but could be better I can't wait for Raw 3.

This is all coming from a 14 year old, im a game fanatic. it is definetly worth the money. The only down side to the game is, there is no elemination matches, braw and pante, 8-man tag team. Otherwise the game is great, each superstar has their custom intro, moves/signature. I love it, if you don't like this game, then the only way to find something better is to become a wrestler. I guarantee that you will like it. | smackdown is alot better | | binks from salem, usa says (17/Mar/2004): | raw 2 is an alright game but smackdown hctp is a hell of alot better. smackdown sym is even better then raw 2. the only good things about raw 2 is the weapons, creating an entrance and putting in your own songs. the game play sucks in raw 2 and the season sucks also. in my opinion (and other people who have raw 2 and smackdown hctp) smackdown has a better everything, better game play, better moves, better matches, better season, better CAW, and even better graphics. raw 2's game play is bad and the moves look bad too. the creat a wrestler is decent. raw 2 is too slow and in the season you have to simulate all the other matches which gets very boring. the best thing about raw 2 in my opinion is creating an entrance. but still smackdown here comes and pain and shut your mouth is better

It also has Brock Lesnar. And to top it all off is has san diegos rey mysterio. but it sucks because kane has his mask. if you want to know how to take it off go to cheatplanet. com to see.(i created him without it but he looks like if the makers would've made him like that). so overall this game kicks smackdown hctp ass. but i still don't know how to unlock the hidden superstar like it says to submit the cheat in the menu. GOLDBERG kicks ass but they could've put more effort in making his spear look like he does it when he gets in the corner like on tv. but rey mysterios moves are so cool like the 619. it looks so real like if your watching a real live smackdown.

In my opinion, it is the second best wwe/wwf game.(wwf no mercy is #1!!!) It had awesome graphics, great matches, realistic scenarios, and great cas, HBK AND KANE ARE ON THERE, AND THE CUSTOM SOUNDTRAKTS ARE GREAT. It also missed alot of stuff! The sound wasn't too good, Scoot Steiner and Golberg shouldn't have been on the cover( HBK and Kane should take their place), no elimanation chamber, you can't go back stage and fight normally, JR AND KING AREN'T ON THERE !, IT TAKES 4EVER TO GET A SHOT AT THE TITLES, TLC AND LADDER MATCHES SUXS, THERE AREN'T MANY CHARACTERS TO UNLOCK, IT'S VERY HARD TO GET A SUPERSTAR TO BE YOUR MANAGER, AND IT'S A SHAME THAT YOU CAN'T KNOCK E. BICHOFFS LIGHTS OUT. And there's no V. McMAHON! nO casket match, ambulance match, iron man match, burried alive match NO INFERNO MATCH, BRA AND PANTIES, you can't get in the audience, theres no blood, and once again you cant go backstage. And on of the biggest problems is, there is no Sable!!!!!! After listing all the bad things about the game, it's a shame that we paid $50+ for it. But I did make up myself and I do rock! raw2 is better tha smackdown. it has much better graphics. more wrestlers. legends suck so we don't need them in raw 2 get the picture. the season mode could be better if u could unlock more and if u could choose wut to say and if u could here the wrestlers talk but overall get raw 2 forget sd5 i loved it for the first 2 days. than i stopped playin it. as for raw 2 i am still playin it and it is the best game ever!!!!!
