this game has the best looking graphics i seen so far but y r the people so damn shiny?and how come kane still wears a mask on this game and lets talk about the season mode.why is it that when i call people out like brock or goldberg no ever comes out but girls also the reason this game blows is because u cant go backstage the ref counts to damn fast when im out of the ring and when i go for a pin i can go to sleep for an hour and he would just be getting to three.what also makes this game retarted is the tag matches every time i go for pin my partner breaks it up. and wheres the blood wheres the king and jr what happen to tazz and micheal cole did forget come to work

when raw came out i thought how could someone actually think this was a finished game. it was eye candy only, i had been watching the progress of raw 2 on the web about six months
before it was released seeing that they actually had put more match types,more arenas,season mode and what i thought by the screenshots better graphics. before the game came out the screenshots of rey mysterio looked like rey mysterio, what happened now he looks like a generic create-a-wrestler. here is a list of things that do not make any sense.
1. kurt angle wearing a team angle jacket but there is no team angle
2. kane has a mask but not in the titantron plus his music is still the old version
3. in raw triple h was the main one that they got wrong in raw 2 he's the only one they got right
4. generic forms of music(victoria,rob van dam, etc.)
5. you try to run up the stage and you hit an invisible wall
6. with six guys in the ring gameplay gets as sluggish as an old computer.
7. and what is the deal with nidia's lips MY GOD!!!(that's a huge *%&#!)
8. wrestler's skin shine like a new model car.
9. where is los guerros actual entrance(lie,cheat,steal and the lowrider)
this game should be called raw 1 cause this is what it should have looked like the ONLY good thing about this game is more wrestlers(not all, not even close) just a suggestion but the next time you make a wrestling game you might try doing more research than renting a two year old wrestlemania tape at the video store. ( thank god for ps2)here comes the pain and belive me raw 2 hurts.

First off, there are a lot of wrestlers that left after the point where they could change it and many who came in after that same point, so don't fault them for having a bit of a messed up roster. Second the create a wrestler is great. A few of the costumes of the wrestlers that were taken out of the game were left in, and some of the costumes of the people who they thought were coming in or came in after they already finished with the character models were left in the game, so you can make most people who are missing, and some independent, japanese and mexican wrestlers as well. I mean they even have Hayabusa of FMW fame's mask, and he got paralyzed about 2 or 3 years ago. All in all the game could have been better, but if it were perfect, as previously stated, then there would be no point in a sequal. My main problem is the fact that you can't leave the ring area, and there is no dialogue at all. I can list many more problems, but most are minor. I already can't wait for RAW 3!

Raw2 has awsome graphics. Undertaker,Goldberg,Booker T,and HHH all look real. If Raw2 is this good, I cant wait till Raw3. All the matches are sweet,but the Ladder match. I was holding on the title and took 3 min for me to win the match. And another thing wheres Jeff Hardy?

First, I would like to say that raw 2 is an o.k. game. The people who said that the game sucked, either has no taste or their commited to ps2. The game does have some bad parts like the ladder match where it takes a year to get the belt, and the season mode where you don't get a title match until near the end of the season. The last problem that i don't like is the tag match where your own person knocks you off your opponent. But it has a good selection of superstars and matches.It has better graphics teh smack down shut your mouth. I have both xbox and ps2 and I play my wwe raw 2 more thet smack down sym. If you don't like the game don't buy it! It's as simple as that.

Give thq a medal they finnally made a fairly good wreastleing game for the mighty xbox but its still not as good as some of the other games out there ok i know everyone wanks over smackdown but that game is so $#< remove me > at ! if u hit someone with a specal move they get back up 2secs later but raw 2 doesnt touch the daddy of wreaslting games No mercy for the N64 that game had it all TLC,CAGE,a very good season and a up-to-date rosters at the time of makeing and a brilliant create-a-wreastler mode which no other game has come close to copying so i think thq who actullay made No mercy should tke a look back at what they made before and try to make a better version of it.

This game has to be the best game i have ever play.The thing i like about it the most is season becuase if you are in a match with someone before u have the match keep surprise attacking them until they are at 10 spirit, but the create a wrestler isnt all that good it is really confusing.somemore things that should be in the game is blood elimination chamber match,you should be able to go in the backstage,abd what i hate the most is that if you are beating the crap out of someone and youre in the middle of a move and someone hits yo and you both fall down.the other thing i hate is that the hell in a cell match when youre beating the hell outa someone and then you go to the top and you accenditently almost fall off the edge then someone grapples you and punches you and you fall off then they win.but dispite the bad things this game rocks.O and one more thing there should be a Crate-A-Move option.

So yeah i got a 1200 check in the mail from our wonderful us government and i figured i should finally listen to people and buy an xbox. was a great purchase, my first games were RAW 2 and Ghost Recon... now Raw 2 where to begin, the game play in itself is pretty decent, the controls once your learn them are easy to master and on the hard difficulty setting the game is a challange. but my problems are with the bugs and the non existan story lines..... My least favorite bug of all time is the "Interference in a title match you win they give belt to the interferer" now about 10 minutes before i sat down to write this, i was battling for the World Championship at the Vengeance Pay Per View im kicking the crap out of the rock with my CAW and my enemy goldberg rushes the ring to beat the hell out of me... i mean the rock.... (thats another horrible bug, MY ENEMIES ATTACK MY OPPONENT WHATS UP WITH THAT!) so yeah, i let goldberg do his two special moves, i do mine and i pin, hooray i win the title right!? WRONG after all the victory animation and "congratulations your the champion" go to the "title holders" tab in the menu and guess what! Chances are you aren't the champion (this has happened 2 out of 3 times i've had interference in a title match, not good odds but it doesn't happen everytime but it is QUITE frustrating when it does) now... season mode.... i mean useless linking of exhibition matches with the occasional pretty cut scene mode..... is anyone else bothered by the fact that there is NO point to it at all? So you can attack superstars.... WHY!? so they can "hate you" and interfer to help in matches? There's no INCENTIVE to attack people.... if you need to do so because you can't beat them 1 on 1 then you just need to turn it on easy..... Getting a manager? sucking up to some superstar so much wasting time so they can lead you to the ring? WHATS THE ADVANTAGE! Especially when the game automatically selects a random one if you dont have one set..... The "Date/Trust" etc cut scenes? Sure they're fun to watch the first time you see them... but they dont do anything! they dont forward the "story" and they dont help/hurt your guy at all. This game had so much potential... The Graphics are amazing the animations are beautiful i mean there are some graphical flaws (Carry a weapon in your entrance and you wave yoru arms the weapon goes through you etc etc) because all games have stuff like that. That's okay i can deal with that. It just frustrates me that the deveolopers left in such OBVIOUS flaws.... why couldn't you spend 3 days and fix them beforey ou shipped it out. THQ I have so much faith in you... WCW World Tour... WCW NWO REVENGE Wrestlemania 2000 WWF No Mercy! are my favorite wrestling games of all time.... All brought to me by THQ.... Amazing games... Simple yet fun and addictive. Then there is the Smackdown Series... if anyone badmouths this series needs to go play Smackdown 2 and 4 again... I own every smackdown game. 1 was amazing ebcause it was the first non n64 wwe wrestling game that didn't suck.... You could NAME YOUR OWN MOVES. Sure the graphics were bad... (come on it was ps1) Then smackdown too, first wrestling game to have ladder matches and table matches and tlc and hell in a cell.... besides an AMAZING season mode.... Smackdown 3.... should be shot in the face.... Abysmal Story mode no new game types.... and then smackdown 4, AMAZING SEASON MODE. THQ really hsould havej ust souped up the smackdown season mode and slapped it on xbox.... then raw2 would be jesus in video game form. Now it's only a week till smackdown 5 and more then not my raw 2 will gain dust... wlel thanks for taking the time to read this. As much as i did bad mouth raw 2. i am happy i bought it.

I bought this game the first day it was released thinking that it would be the coolest game of the year; I was wrong. The game play in season mode is just too easy to beat. Frankly, I can't play the season mode for more than 30 minutes before I just get frustrated at how slow it is. Furthermore, for a game that has great graphics and realistic looking faces, you think THQ would have spent more time on the entrances of the superstars and on the Create a Superstar mode. The only cool thing about it is the fact that you can use your own music, but you cannot time when you want the superstar to enter or how long you want the entrance to be. Another thing that really bites about this game, is that fact that you cannot add a championship belt to your superstar after he/she has become the champion. The only way you even know you are the champion is the cheezy little cutscreen that plays before a chapionship match. I have a lot more nasty stuff to say about this game but I will not waste my time. It just seems that THQ spent tons of time on some aspects of the game while on others they just rushed it out the door to try to make a buck. They should have spent more time on the game to make many improvements; it would have been worth the wait.

This game is so awesome it smokes smackdown 1-4 (i haven't played 5) it is 20 times better than the first one. It has a few down falls. Like the fact that there aren't announcers, and your the characters don't speak and kane has his mask on but his video has it off, and the fact that goldberg was even put in the game. The game is awesome as far a match type like HIAC and tlc, table, and ladder. The create a superstar is better and it has better pyro effects. The graphics are much improved and it has a bunch fo awesome moves. except the fact that you can't do a swanton bomb over the rope, or do a suicide dive through the ropes, oh yea and spike dudley's famous flyind headbutt, but the matches are awesome and the wrestlers are not so "fast pased" like in smackdown, and it's more realistic. I hate that there isn't any blood and no elimination chamber, but thq had a set date for the game and making a elimination chamber would add a few months. I love that you can rip your own music for entrances that's a great detail and the halfway custamizable titantron video is awesome, i hated coming out with someone like big show or someone else on my entrance video. Oh yea and the only other problem is that when your in a match your enemy's interfere and attack your opponent, and you can't turn off interference, and when they do interfere it's a pain in the ass especially when you want to put someone through the announcer table and someone keeps messing you up, oh yea and you can't change the time for season mode so all matches are 10 min. from what i can tell any way. All in all I give this game a 10. It's the best game for Xbox, until The Next Halo, or Halo 2 (not sure what they're gunna call it)

ok,people, raw 2 is very good way better than the first one and yall that gave this game a bad review really are clueless because the graphics are wonderfull and the wrestlers move like real people detail is xbox's high side where on playstation the game play is ok but the wrestlers move like cartoon characters until you go into a cut scene detail is what the game player looks for and another thing this is the first console for microsoft and it has come a very long way but on a game note raw is the bomb get it play it ennjoy

OK listen up all you button mashing 12 yr olds! RAW2 is one of the best wrestling games on the market today. Granted there are a lot of things missing but when you got a couple of friends over (if you have them) you tend to forget about all that stuff, and thats exactly what THQ was aiming for. A game to play with your buddies and have fun with. I would also like to say to those of you who are complaining about the lack of story in the season mode. Get it. Season mode. Not story mode like the smackdown games. THQ also did a good job making the SEASON mode which they aimed for. Come on whats better then making up your own story to follow! Season mode allows you to do that.(in your own mind that is) And thats all part of the fun. I personally think that it sucks when you have to follow a story line prefabricated by Vince McMahon and his team of writers. Most of the time a story mode just rehashes crap I've already seen on TV. Now I'll give a list of the pros and cons of this game in my own opinion.

5)tons of choices to pick from during a match

ok... ive played most all wrestling games from nintendo to playstation to n64 to gamecube to playstation 2 to xbox and the best ive played was WWE RAW2 and ive read all the reviews to all the people who think it sucks well $#< remove me > at ! u guys cause until they make a raw3 (i dont know if they are but i hope so) raw 2 is better than any smackdown game since smackdown to smackdown2just bring it tosmack down shut your mouth to smackdown here comes the pain they all SUCKED!!!! then me and my friend had no mercy for a while and it was ok except no lita but the fact was that it was a awsome game it had everything back when wrestling wasnt broken up into raw and smackdown and it was awsome then when they came out with gamecube they had wrestlemania IIXX it was ok it wasnt like awsome i love it im gonna play it every day it was hard to get the controls memorized but when u did it was ok then they came out with wrestlemania IXX thats ok my friend still has his game cube and he still has it and ive played it a buch of times but the controls are still the same allitle confusing but then there was wwf raw and i played it it was good but no story mode and it did have the hardcore belt (my favorite , cause theres no rules for it, a guy couldve come out of no ware and took it) it was ok except for the graphics then finally they came out with raw 2 and i rented it and it was awesome because the first thing i did was create my guy $%!< remove me > at (*( and he rocked in season mode until i was tag tem w/ rey mesterio and he seemed to suck when i taged him and he seemed to suck so then after i won cause i tagged back i whent to cas mode and i whent to rey mesterio and i checked out his moves SUCKY!!! and so i made them better alot better and then i lost all three of my titles with $%!< remove me > at (*( and then deleted him and then played 1 year with rey mesterio and i was rockin then i decided that he looked gay so i made him look awsome and made his mask black with blue highlight and added his misc i cant remember which number and gave him awesome jeans with blue flames and then i made like 5 more people like back-ups incase i lost all my new titles (world,wwe tag team, world tag team, cruiser weight, royal rumble, and king of the ring and im goin for the wwe to be the undesputed and i cant get womens so..any way i love it i play it every day and i rule if there was xbox live for like royal rumbles tournements and king of the rings if u saw rey mesterio in there u would fail any way if u get it make a superstar or make one better beacause regular ones suck i got to go so dont diss this game get it and for that idiot who put whares the f-u just give him the death valley driver (duuuhh) .

i like brock lesner. he rocks in the game. the season is best steal,surprise atacks, etc.u could unlock stuff. this game realy rocks. you sould buy it right away.it is cool game i love it u sould to. but i hate rico in it. i like stone cold steve austin and torrie wilson in it . it is better than smackdown here comes the pain.i love this game. you could also unlock the elimation chanber by beatig 3 seson modes and you sloud be undefted. u cold unlock stuff. like mic foely and kenshamrock. good grafics and stuff u know what i mean.with 4 controlers u get new sotry about hte game in seson. u realy sould love this game.u could put ko in hell in a cell.if u don't want to waste ur money u could buy it used it is only 25 dolloers.it is the best game ever.

Well I've been reading the other reviews and I agree with the fans of the game and the people who hate it. In my opinion, it is the second best wwe/wwf game.(wwf no mercy is #1!!!) It had awesome graphics, great matches, realistic scenarios, and great cas, HBK AND KANE ARE ON THERE, AND THE CUSTOM SOUNDTRAKTS ARE GREAT. It also missed alot of stuff! The sound wasn't too good, Scoot Steiner and Golberg shouldn't have been on the cover( HBK and Kane should take their place), no elimanation chamber, you can't go back stage and fight normally, JR AND KING AREN'T ON THERE !, IT TAKES 4EVER TO GET A SHOT AT THE TITLES, TLC AND LADDER MATCHES SUXS, THERE AREN'T MANY CHARACTERS TO UNLOCK, IT'S VERY HARD TO GET A SUPERSTAR TO BE YOUR MANAGER, AND IT'S A SHAME THAT YOU CAN'T KNOCK E. BICHOFFS LIGHTS OUT. And there's no V. McMAHON! nO casket match, ambulance match, iron man match, burried alive match NO INFERNO MATCH, BRA AND PANTIES, you can't get in the audience, theres no blood, and once again you cant go backstage. And on of the biggest problems is, there is no Sable!!!!!! After listing all the bad things about the game, it's a shame that we paid $50+ for it. But I did make up myself and I do rock! I have the WWE TITLE, WORLD TITLE, KING OF THE RING, WWE TAG TEAM TILE, AND i'M THE ROYAL RUMBLE CHAMP! WELL I WILL STILL PLAY IT BUT PLEASE THQ, MAKE RAW 3 BETTER AND PUT HBK,KANE, AND RVD ON THE COVER THANXS!

Ok,I have Raw2 and i gotta say it's a pretty good game!
The bad things about it is:NO J.HARDY,NO SHANE MCMAHON,NO ELIMATION CHAMBER,NO FARROQQ AND NO NATHAN JONES!Come on who would'nt want Nathan Jones.I like the create-your-superstar thing,thats cool.
And,the hell in the cell matches are great.So is the table and the armegeton matches.I think Raw3 should have the No's I listed up there^.I love the game and if anyone says this game sucks they can all SHUT THE HELL UP!Once Raw3 comes out Im goin to buy it.I heard a RUMOR that there making SMACKDOWN VS. RAW for PS2 and X-BOX!

I agree with what most people said. RAW 2 would definetly be the best game out if it had: Jeff Hardy, King & J.R., blood, Kane without the mask, backstage mathces as well as in the crowd, and good matches like Elimination Chamber and Bra and Panties and Inferno match. The CAS is excellent and you can also create a team. Plus in season mode, you can change who people cheer and boo. The graphics are great, but its hard to win ladd &TLC matches. The computer reverses easily, but also lose easily. I put updated tracks of wrestlers like RKO and evolution and the undertaker, and also tracks of wrestlers who arent on the game that I created like Shelton Benjamin or Carlito Carribean Cool. A game wuth this kind of graphics should have a create a move section, which would be totally awesome and kick every other wrestling games behind. I enjoy playing RAW 2 because I've created such wrestlers as Jeff Hardy, AJ Styles, current wrestlers who arent on the game, and cartoon characters like Iron Man, Hulk, and some guy named PANDAMASTER, and the ring announcers can give a select amount of call names for them to be called by when coming to the ring.I think mine forgot some of the calls it had. I knew it said RAZOR RAMON, but now I cant find it. NE->, RAW 2 can easily be debated as the best wrestling game out
P.S. NO ONE CAN BEAT ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Smackdown has a more up to date roster.
Better graphics.
Better gameplay.
Better match types.
Better referees.
Better AI.
Better and simpler controls.
I could go on and on..
I have both PS2 and a XBOX.. and Smackdown is a far better game than Raw 2. Hell Smackdown 1-4 are better than the Raw Series!!!
The only good things about Raw are the Graphics and the custom soundtracks..
Im sorry but i wont tell lies like the rest.. RAW 2 SUCKS..

This game rocks!! The first time I played This game I was so Amazed that how can it be so real. This game so easily beats all wrestling games so far!! There were 3 things I didn't like. First it didn't have Jeff Hardy, second no blood and third were are hell are J.R and King??????. All the rest rocks specially the graphics. Creat a superstar rocks. The best type of matches I liked were Hell in a cell, Table, ladder and chair and street fights. I had to wait so long to get this game but what I think it worth all that waiting and money. Over all I think every wrestling fan should have this game. I think this the best game THQ has made so far. This game so easily can be named the best game of the year. Until Raw 3 (if there is going to be such thing) I think I can Wait because I have got Raw2.
