So far, this game is pretty bad. THQ needs to drop anchor and stick with yukes (or hopefully get back AKI). Good news--tons more features. Updated roster, more match types, more arenas(unlockable)and a supposed better story mode (I haven't tried yet). Bad news--gameplay stinks. A little bit better than raw 1 but still awkward, slow, and does not flow naturally. You can stick all the other features, because last time I looked this was a wrestling game, and the most important feature (WRESTLING) sucks. Refs 3 count takes like 7secs. My 1st match was like 18 mins and I had to quit because I was bored. Not many moves, so very repititious. WMXIX is much better. It may lack some of the stuff raw has(good story mode) but the basic element of WRESTLING is in there and very strong, very fun. Graphics are good but the wrestlers do look weird. Their arms are too small for their bodies. Entrances are decent so far--nothing too special. Crowd is not as amped as WMXIX, no chants so far but dull anyhow. I do not believe that there is blood in this game (weak). Funfactor out of 10 is a 6.5 I may not have given this game a fair try but it has been very boring thus far. If you own only xbox and are a big wwe fan than give it a shot. If not save your money. I'd rather have WMXIX or wait for Smackdown HCTP.

I can't tell you how long I have waited to get this game. At last a quality WWE game for the Xbox. Unfortunately this is not it! I have read the other reviews and I don't think people are playing the same game. Maybe they're just psuedo wrestling fans. There are so many problems with this game. The graphics, animation, Fantastic! That is pretty much where it stops. There is not enough options for gameplay. The season is boring and boderline dumb. There are so many things missing from this game it is stupid. Where is the BLOOD!?! WWE has blood!!! Sports games have annoucers, and no one ever seems to get tired of them saying the same thing 1000's of times over. Where the HELL is King and Jr.!?! There's no Vince McMahon! Let me repeat! This is a WWE game and there is NO Vince McMahon. Are you on CRACK!?! Where's Shane? Jeff Hardy? I want to see a wrestler bring the belts ringside like they do in the show they don't leave it in the locker room.
I could go on and on about how disappointing this game is. I had so much faith in THQ. I guess I will have to dust off my N64 and break out WWF NO MERCY. That to date is the Most complete wrestling game for WWE. I strongly suggest that THQ take that game and update it for the Xbox. Until then anyone want to buy a slightly used copy of WWE RAW2, sell or trade.

this game sucks because it has no blood.its missing alot of superstars like paul london,carlito caribbean cool,and a whole lot more.some wrestlers dont have their realistic finishers.there are no subtitles when superstars make an announcement.u guys should create a game where it has all wwe superstars and blood the ladder matches should be more easier. i mean come on there are no elimination chamber matches no ironman matches no street fights.u should be able to control ur superstar backstage.the crowd shouldnt look like paper from different angles.when ur hit with a chair, u should have a bruise or bump.u should be able to edit other wwe superstars.after hardcore matches and ur unable to walk emt's should come out and put on a stretcher and take u to the hospital.there should be commentars like jr and king.there also should be backstage mathces like parking lot brawls.there should be more weapons included like trashcans and tables.there should be legends like andrea the giant cowboy bob orton rowdy roddy piper and legion of doom.It should have the smackdown arena,and you can't unlock all the other superstars in the blank squares.It should be more realistic like stacking up tables and jumping off of them.You and your stable could jump another superstar and use your stable in season mode.

Raw 2 is the best game that has ever happened to xbox!!!!!!!
BUT.............................there are a few errors in the game as well. for example, here are the parts in catergory : EXHIBITION MATCH TYPES - good - tlc (new), hell in a cell(new), table(new)!!! battle royal!!!!!!!!! ladder! cage, armageddon (new feature), 6 man tag (new feature), etc.... bad - no elimination chamber,8 man tag,stable,gauntlet ROYAL RUMBLE - good - everything!!!!! bad - nothing!!!!!!!!!! KING OF THE RING - good - not much....just the concept... bad - youll know when you play (tournament is better) TOURNAMENT - 10x better than k.o.r. (more options) SEASON - (this is huge!!!) good - agenda,allies and enemies,and LOTS MORE!!!!!!!!!! bad - there should be more options in the agenda,more allies and enemies,and a few other things (im the info guy, so ill be back with another review.) CREATE A SUPERSTAR good - most bad - profile could be improved (details,alignment,etc) , appearence could have more options, entrance should have more details (it rules but it still needs more) OTHER problems - if your doing a move, it can easily be stopped,NO backstage areas,and i think thats about it......i love the game, and i think wwe raw 3 will have all the problems fixed. As a first time player the game is really fun. perfeck hell in a cell i just wish that when you throw your opponet down on the table they would not be ko i wish that i could still be the $#< remove me > at ! out of him after that. hears a list of really fake things about the game.
when your opponet is beat up they still reverse no matter how much beat up they are.
when you suplex them for instance by the fopes to the outside the ropes just bend a little bit why dont they just fall to the outside or land on the ropes.
when you look at the crowd in sertain angles they look like a pice of paper.
and last but not least kane whares a mask but dosent in his titron.
like i said this game is verry good but it is missing alot but i'm nt going to list them because every other person has.
but like i was saying the game is missing alot but it is still worth a TEN of a rateing. and kid who want's to no how to unlock Mick Foley you have to complete 5 years of season complete not fail or just get 5 years done complete you have to have a belt at the end of the year to complete or els you fail. the reason why i like the game because the cas mode is auwsome the graphick are auwsome i could go on & on because it is just fun.
aI hope westlemania is better. only if they would just read what we say.

I mean Whats the point of a season mode if there aint no story. And in the ring, the game play is horrible. I mean how can someone push you and you become dayzed for a few seconds. And when you get pinned you have enough energy to kick out but not to get up. And I gave Chrash holly about 8 Pedigrees and he still kicked out. The timing is so off on moves. Like when your running at some one and you deliever a clothesline right at mid clothesline you end up getting powerslamed. And the entrance is horrible on some wrestlers like hogans pose down in the ring it looks like the way i do it. And when someone sideswipes a move or a punch that never happens either they block a punch or reverse a move. And In Tag Team Matches when your getting pinned your partner kicks you and not your opponent. And the refs count is so slow there is people kicking out at 1 after delievering a stone cold stunner. I admit there are some good points and there are some improvements. But when you want a wrestling game you want a good quality game with no flaws. And I dont understand when theres a Tag Team who in there right mind would team up Triple H with Steven Richards. Man I can go on all day of problems in Raw 2 but i have to go to work and save some money for Smackdown Here Comes The Pain.

you know after reding some of these lame ass reviews I realized about half have to be from children because people can't even spell correctly. and anyone that has any thing bad to say about raw 2 all I have to say is stop bitching and get your fat lazy ass out and learn how to make video games instead of sitting at home berating others for their hard work. THQ and all of the other companies making this game are trying NOT to make it like Smackdown! I agree that the smackdown! games are better but as for X-Box games raw is thier good wrestling title.
I enjoyed it cause it took me back to the days of WCW revenge and No Mwrcy. Smackdown! has yet to change its grapling system and it's too fast. some people seem to be missing the fact that they're not making a fighting game but a Professional wrestling game. most wrasslin is'nt that fast unless it involves cruiserweights. Hell whens the last time you saw hogan do any real wrestling. He talks, he stalls looks his opponent over and then hits some of the most simple wrestling moves and then wins. some of you people should think before speaking. plus they put a lot into the arena's hell wrestlemania got good reviews and all but had only a few arenas.
this game was good that's why I give it a 10.

I bought this game the first day it was released thinking that it would be the coolest game of the year; I was wrong. The game play in season mode is just too easy to beat. Frankly, I can't play the season mode for more than 30 minutes before I just get frustrated at how slow it is. Furthermore, for a game that has great graphics and realistic looking faces, you think THQ would have spent more time on the entrances of the superstars and on the Create a Superstar mode. The only cool thing about it is the fact that you can use your own music, but you cannot time when you want the superstar to enter or how long you want the entrance to be. Another thing that really bites about this game, is that fact that you cannot add a championship belt to your superstar after he/she has become the champion. The only way you even know you are the champion is the cheezy little cutscreen that plays before a chapionship match. I have a lot more nasty stuff to say about this game but I will not waste my time. It just seems that THQ spent tons of time on some aspects of the game while on others they just rushed it out the door to try to make a buck. They should have spent more time on the game to make many improvements; it would have been worth the wait.

Once again a sad attempt at a x-box wrestling game.And once again thq, sub-contracts anchor to do there dirty work(WHO THE HELL IS ANCHOR!!)
I could go on and on about how the game sucks...And I will.
1)The cpu wrestlers must take the small bus to the arena, cause they are all retarted. They pin you 30 times in a row, they come during your match and beat up the cpu, and in a ladder-match they run around in circles waiting for someone to win the belt above them(Which takes about 2 min smashing every buton)
2)Yes the graphics are cool, but if i just wanted graphics I would watch wwe on t.v. you can't beat reality. the game play sucks period.
3)You have to try and try again to steal from each superstar just to get there stupid outfit!! Who wants brocks panties anyway.
4) AWWW F*** it I'll sell my x-box, buy a ps2 and wait for the new smackdown, I am sorry x-box but thank THQ for not tossing their ANCHOR far enough....they have both sunk your ship.
bottom line is that I've waited since the last s*it raw game, for a new one to arrive (thats over 1 year), the wait was hardly worth the 10 min I had enjoying it, 9 of which was the time I spent checking what each superstar looked like.

I like WWE Raw 2, but it's not what a wrestling game could be. I think they should have better hidden wrestlers, personally to have some oldie wrestlers, like Ultimate Warrior, Demolition, and Bret 'Hitman' Hart wouold be really cool. It sorta sucks that there's no Elimination Chamber and you can't go backstage in hardcore matches. But, the graphics are awesome, I like that you could add your own music - I changed Undertakers music to the version without the bad singing from WWE Anthology and my created wrestler comes out to METALLICA - Lets see Smackdown games let me do that! I just hope they make Raw 3 and add the things missing from this game and it'll be the ultimate wrestling game. I don't like that it's so hard to get the belt down from the ladder matches and the current music for some superstars are replaced by older versions, like RVD's and Kane's. Speaking of Kane, I think it's really weird to have Kane wearing a mask and have his Titantron movie playing with him not wearing it - I hope there's some sort of cheat or way to have him take it off. But, I give this game 8 out of 10, I knoe it could be better, but it's the best out there right now, including any other wrestling game for any other console.

6. No commentator in at the table outside
7. No match like Elimination Chamber Match, I quit match, Barb Wire match , Stretcher, Iron Man Match ... U Know ???
8. Only 1 profile in season mode at the time
9. Level Hard is pretty easy when you know of to play
10. Only 4 wrestlers at the time in the Royal Rumble Match
11. For the C.A.S. mode there`s a lot of type of attack, but there a lot of attack missing like the Old Shcool Finisher ( Razor Edge, Chiken Wing Submit position, HBK old time Back suplex ... stuff like that)
GOOD
1. GamePlay
2. The Create a Superstar mode if great
3. Grad with items is fun
4. During the season mode, all the kinds of event of the wwf are there ( bad thing that hte event of ecw and wcw were not there
5. Easy to do finisher
6. a lots of attack possible
7. Team attack are fun
8. Season Mode is well done ... but I espect more for RAW:3

raw 2 is the best!!!!!!!!!!!!! The graphics are great.Their finishing moves are so realistic (especcialy rey mysterio's 619)The sound is terrific (who cares if there is no voices)and the controls are great to.I love table and hell in a cell matches. BUT, the best of everything in the game is easily season mode. me a friend just played season for about 4 hours straight. Whats so good about this i hear u say. well you have a whole year (in the game)to be prepared for wrestlemania. so you have different matches some for belts some are just a friendly match. you different wwe outlets. like raw and smackdown and ppv. you and some other people have one match each every ppv or whatever. you have a list of options that gives you a choice to do things like attack someone you hate (i hate brock lesnar, a-train, kurt angle and matt hardy ( because he cheated against rey mysterio at wrestlemania 19. now back to raw 2. you could set a trap, you can steal stuff, you can just rest and thats about it. so bassicaly this is best wrestling game i've ever played. rey myserio 619...............................................................................................................................

Come on. I been waiting for a long a** time for Raw 2 to come out. I was so disappointed about the first one because of all the goffy crap they had in it. But now I know that the people at THQ do not know how to make a decent wrestling game. Yes Raw 2 has good wrestler's in it that look perfect enough to be real but the gameplay is so slow. The grappling and striking is ridiculous. It's like by the time you grapple someone they will already have reversed your move and put to the mat. Noe the Hell in the cell match was alright but I think it still needs work but the TLC match is probably one of the dumbest ones I fought in. I mean when you get to the belt, you have to break your finger trying to get it down. Now, about Story mode, it needs major reconstruction. I think it's cool that you can decide what you can do during your daily agenda but it would better if the story would flow together a little bit better. Like The NO mercy game on the 64. You sould decide what you want to do when it happends not before or after. All together the game is alright but it still needs to be adjusted in alot of ways. HOpefully if there will be a Raw 3, it will be alot better then the past two.

I like the game personally, though I agree with alot of people, it needs alot more work, I think the AI could use alot of work, theres no real challenge to win the matches, there needs to be more things to un lock, there needs to be blood, I expected blood when i bashed someone in the face with a chair, graphics were good in my opinion, though some of the graphics needed a bit more detail like the crowd that looked like something from the sims, and the chanting...WHERES THE CHANTING?!?!?! and lets be real about this... where the hell is JR and KING?!... in my own opinion the two best WWF/WWE games ever made were no mervy and wrestlemania 2000 for N64... this is XBOX were talking about not that knock off ps2... or game cube... xbox... were supposed to have everything. create a star is cool, there needs to be more entrance options, it would be nice to time the walk and what not, ide like to time the entrance itself and a few other things... the broods entrance and music would be nice even though they are gone... wheres all the oldies? anyway im going to stop ranting now... all in all its a half n half game...theres always been bad and good when it comes to wrestling...

Ok Raw2 as some good parts but the game sucks dogs for dimes.Because they are missing so many people in the game and I really hated Raw and Raw2 . I really hate the ladder matchs and Butch from EL PASO why dont you put the game up your fat candyass.If you like the game then ok great for you but most people hate the game so they can say what they want to say . But I have to say Raw2 really sucks THQ didnt care that the game sucked because they are making money from the people that buys the game .And thats why I didnt buy the game right away I waited to play it first to see I liked it.Because I didnt like Raw and all the smackdowns where great games and I like alot of people say the same thing that I do about that.And they sould have kanes mask off in the game or make a match and have kane lose the mask or something like that.And storylines what storylines I want someone to show me where the storylines are in the game because how the game is set up is you only pick how you want to face in a match and most of the time you dont get the person you want to face.And I think that THQ sould give everyone there money back because the game sucked some bad.

ok the game is auwsome.but some things i noticed aboute it is I think you should be able to controll them back stage like when your match is up you dont have to go oute you can fake a really bad ingury and not go or you can beat up the guy back stage that you have a match with.and if the makers are going by reviews on how to make wwe raw 3 do NOT involve money.and i think that you shoulde be able to create yore own championship belts and they shoulde have like on wwe smackdown vs raw create your own ppv.
and ll the main events like special referee 8 8 8 man tag and 20 man battleroyal off the top ropes and during exbhidition too you should be able to go back stage when ever you want.and most of all I think it should be like gta san andreas to where you dont always have to be at the arenayou can go shopping and stuff but in a store and you can go home and watch live raw or smack down and you need to pay for ppv's and when youre not suppose to be there you can go any way.and another way to make it is to where during ppv you can controll backstage.so wwe raw 2 is an auwsome game but it could be better.if you want to email I've posted i,m nick

Everyone expected to much from the so called "ruthles agression" of Raw 2, but what happened? every xbox user waited more than two years expecting something worth the wait, but what happened? While the PS2 owners had excellent WWE titles each year (Just bring it and Shut your mouth)the xbox's wrestling fans waited to a stupid promess of something that could knock off Smackdown. And all we got was a lame wrestling game that featured as it's "new special matches" TLC and Hell in a Cell, for God's sake! that type of matches existed since playstation one!!!! you could argue about the graphics.... JA! if you see Booker T in RAW 2 is like if you were watching some guy from the Jacksons 5!!!
Please! if you like wrestling and made an error by purchasing a Xbox, sell it to buy a PS2 and enjoy the future best WWE game ever: Smackdown: Here comes the pain. or if you want to stay with microsoft ask THQ for a decent wrestling game.

Alright, good things on this game is the soundtracks you can burn on, create a character, graphics,etc. Almost everything it has is good. But it's missing A LOT. NO GOOD MATCHES. It has hell in a cell and cage, but they get boring after awhile. When you slam sumbody thru the cell once they won't go near the middle again-you have to irish whip them near it. TLC and ladder matches are stupid cuz you'll just hang on the title and then ur oopenent jumps up and gets it. Season mode is lacking- needs a plot. It needs blood. It needs bra & panties, buried alive, backstage, first blood, and it needs elimination chamber. The commentators would be cool to have at ringside so you could beat them up too. There should be security guards that you can beat up. You need to be able to grapple people with weapons other than the chair-you could bash their face into the stairs. You should fight in the crowds. There should be be vince coming in and making announcements, roster signings, draft lotto, guest ref, and more. Raw 3 could be so great, if only the makers of the game would read what we say they would know of the real fans and make a kick-< remove me > at $s game.

ok, ok, raw 2 is a pretty good game and has some good poins and some bad points. Good points being that it bosts some of the best graphics seen by a gaming console, excellent CAW (create a wrestler) mode. But like most games, it has its flaws.
How in gods green earth can a woman become the champ, how is it that rediculous tag partners (stephanie and flair for example) can become tag champs? No talkin in the cut seens, not even sub titles, how is it u can miss somethin like that?
I mean come on, some times i think the creaters have got thiers minds focused on the dosh, they forget bout the game they r makin. Still, i like the idea of creating ur own story, instead of doin one already predetermined, although i think in some places they forgot to butter their bread. It makes u wonder, the first raw was, to say the least, sh*t, i thought these developers couldnt possible miss these mistakes and raw 2 would be awsome and not just great. Makes u wonder if they will actually be able top pull off a raw 3. Ok well im done b*tchin now overall it is a great game but like i said b4, its not an awesome game and it should have been

raw 2 may be the best game ever like it had a near perfect hell in a cell great graphics perfect cas more than 60 wrestlers the only things that ticked me off was
*no blood
*no weapons in hell in a cell
*cant fight back stage
*no talking in season
*bad computer controlled wrestlers
*no elimination chamber
*slow speed
but if you play this game some things you can do are just soo damn fun the first time i threw my opponent off the top of the cell and onto the table i weeped with joy. nothing can ever top that in a fun factor. raw 2 is one of the greatest games i have ever played people say you cant do the 619 or the fu you can my cas can also do them as well as john cena and rey the life span may not last longer than 3 months but every time you watch raw or smackdown on tv your gonna come back an play it . in the next game you should be able to use weapons like tacs an beat the hell out of your opponent then the paramedicts come out and put him on a strecher an take him backstage were you beat some more blood out of him. anyway great game one of the best ever created.
