WWE Raw 2 looks and promises to be a great step for wrestling game titles. The only problem going into this game is the possibility of disasterous gameplay. But with the other options the gameplay could possibly be overshadowed. This games final copy could hold nearly 70 WWE superstars and this titles season mode could just be the best in the business. In season mode the ability to basically freeroam is awesome with the freeroaming possibilty you interfere in others matches which was used in the last edition of the smackdown series. Another great addition to wrestling titles which is in Raw 2 is the oppurtunity to break into fellow superstars lockerooms and steal specific belongings (for ex. Angle's medals, the champs title belts, and Stacey Keibler's panties just to name a few). Season mode is also great for its ability to bring in four different users which could evolve the best damn alliance ever but when these star get to the top of the WWE ladder only one can be the champ, season mode looks great. WWE Raw 2 has all the match types to make it a star and has all the options too.

I think wwe Raw 2 is really good especially season mode.
But smackdown hctp is just better.There is no burried alive matches or Iron man matches.Kane has a mask.You cant go backstage in a hardcore match.In Raw 3 they could include more features that top smackdown hctp like you can fight in the audience and blood.But the graphics are great, you can choose from a great selection of moves and taunts, put your music on it from your hardrive,The season mode is great especially once you have an array of tittles and competions won.Hell in a cell is amazing the ladder and TLC matches are quite tricky.But it is just like watching Raw live with the enrances and videos and pyros.The interference in season mode is good. Personally i think Undertaker has the best moves like the last ride,choke slam and the tombsone and side walk slam,The royal Rumble match is the best match and it isn't hard to eliminate superstars,but in season mode the matches are unrealistic like Undertaker would'nt fight Spike Dudley 3 times in a row.So Raw 2 is an amzing game but could be better I can't wait for Raw 3.

raw2 rocks out of all wwe games and i should know because i have n64,ps1,ps2,gamecube,and xbox.out of the games:no mercy,smackdown,smackdown2,smackdown3,smackdown4,raw1,and raw2,raw2 is best.raw2 does have some bad things like kane is wearing his mask and he comes out with the old version of his music and has the entrance video with him not wearing the mask.also i cant beat ladder matches or tlc. it is hard to get the title shot at season. raw 2 does not have elemanation chamber matches and there is no blood. you cant go back stage during matches and fight there.if raw 3 has all that now when it comes out it will be the best game ever. there is good things too like it has the best graphics and it ha hell in the cell. they have my faverite match wich is table match. i win every time in that match.it has the world heavy weight title wich is my faverite title.the create your own superstar mode is awsome because you can put your own music on your entrance and the pyro is so cool because it sounds and looks real.as soon as raw 3 comes out i am going to buy it. so rock on.

I was surprised how ths franchise went from sucked to awsome that fast. This game is great it lets you change everything. if you don't like the fact that Lita's using the Hardy Boys music, change it. you dont like the outfit Stephanie McMahone is wearing, change it. you don't want Victoria doing some stupid slap, change it. you wish stone colds entrance had alot of pyro, change it. The season mode is top notch, you can steal items, set a trap, interfear, do a run in, complain, call out, rest, or just do nothing. The only down side to all this is you risk your energy bar when you attempt any of that stuff. Than the story mode gets real interesting when you play it with you and three of your friends. there are only two things I don't care for in the game and they are, 1. the in game music if you turn it off it also turns off the music for all the in game superstars that are using in game music, and 2. the create-a-wrestler mode is not as deep as Smackdown 4, but this is minor stuff compared to all the good stuff. Finally the Xbox has an awsome wrestling game.

This game is awesome. It has great graphics and realistic superstars. The people who made it are brilliant. They did such a good job with the moves, taunts, and entrances. I adore this game. People who haven't played it, I recomment you do. You don't know what you are missing. You have so many choices to choose from. I mean so what if some of the newier superstars are not on there. They did such a good job on the older superstars that who cares if the newier ones are not on. The moves that the superstars have look so much like real life that it acually made me fell as if I were in a real match. Also the music they had got you pumped up. It was so awesome. there are so many great features that it looks as if the real superstars were actually in the game and you were really controlling them. It is cool the way that you can make a superstar like triple H or Brock Lesner differant by just going in there profile and doing what ever you want with them. Come on it even lets you change there moves! They only thing bad about this game is that it is hard to put it down.

Are there really people that are supposed to me unlocked in the game like Mick Foley? If any one wants to exchange CAS's e-mail me.If any one knows something real besides rumers would you mail me those too.Does any one know why or whatever about not geing able to put songws from a burned cd on the hard drive? ok, i was pretty excited to try this game out. now when i started i was ready to play the new raw 2. all the hype was about to be put to the test....let me begin. create mode is worthless.they all look the same, its junk. second kanes mask? whats the deal? his video has him without it why is he wearing it? next were are charlie hass and shelton benjamin? im sure they would be more fun to use than , lets say mark henry or william reagle, seriously now. also rey mysterio looks just wrong, the you enemys actually help you in ring instead of hurting (whats the deal there) and the no voice-no text season? come on, how hard would it have been to put some text in there?
now the graphics are decent, as i have only played playstation 2 so far, and i think they look ok. the entrance music is very cool, that saved me some pain when i saw that...game play is weak..doing a submission sounds like you stepping on a pile of m&m's , over all this game is a rental at best. unless your rich or just have bad taste.

The main thing I was looking for in this game was career mode. I like what they are trying to do with the story mode, but I dislike the fact that there is no actual story. And I realy hate the matches they come up with, how the hell does Rick Flair and Stephanie McMahon become tag champs and they are not in a stable together? In the saeson I had going, I was trying to go after the world title, and when I get there, Trish Stratus is the champ I have to face. Whats up wit dat? I should have been facing Lesnar or Angle, Triple H or Goldberg! one Major complaint I have is the interference. When your enemies come in they are not focused you, they focus on your aponent, in effect, helping you win the match, I wish I had enemies like that in real life! I am not Bashing this game, I actualy like the other things in the game! but everytime I read a review, its all about how great this game is. So I'm just pointing out some of the bad stuff! All in all it's a good game that should be better!

I think WWE RAW 2 is an awesome game exept for the fact that they don't include Jeff Hardy, J.R. and King, Shane McMahon, the Elimination Chamber and Buried Alive Match. Also you cannot decide if you accept a match or manager. But the ladder matches I think are easy if you can get the twenty foot ladder. Season mode isn't bad either. I have found a few websites that tell you how to create people like Jeff Hardy, The Incredible Hulk, Catwoman, Al Snow, ect. I am not allowed to tell you what those websites are. If you really need to know what those sites are, email me. But I still think it is an awesome game and wouldn't trade it for one hundred dollars. That is how good I think this game is. Unlike other people, who think this game really, really sucks (who I totally disagree with)some people think this game rocks. I personally think THQ did a good job on making this game. First off, there are a lot of wrestlers that left after the point where they could change it and many who came in after that same point, so don't fault them for having a bit of a messed up roster. Second the create a wrestler is great. A few of the costumes of the wrestlers that were taken out of the game were left in, and some of the costumes of the people who they thought were coming in or came in after they already finished with the character models were left in the game, so you can make most people who are missing, and some independent, japanese and mexican wrestlers as well. I mean they even have Hayabusa of FMW fame's mask, and he got paralyzed about 2 or 3 years ago. All in all the game could have been better, but if it were perfect, as previously stated, then there would be no point in a sequal. My main problem is the fact that you can't leave the ring area, and there is no dialogue at all. I can list many more problems, but most are minor. I already can't wait for RAW 3!

smackdown has got cool stuff but after i tried the both of them i found out that raw2 rocks and i cant wait to play raw3.
raw2 is better tha smackdown. it has much better graphics. more wrestlers. legends suck so we don't need them in raw 2 get the picture. the season mode could be better if u could unlock more and if u could choose wut to say and if u could here the wrestlers talk but overall get raw 2 forget sd5 i loved it for the first 2 days. than i stopped playin it. as for raw 2 i am still playin it and it is the best game ever!!!!!

I've played the first wwf raw. and when i heard that wwe raw 2 was coming out.i started to find out everything i could about the game. And I'd have to say the people on this website are crazy. this games awesome i don't really see anything wrong with it I love it. I mean come on ps2 you can't put your favorite music and you can't do that with gamecube either so that's a plus. Now don't get me wrong i love smackdown. I've got all of them.And i plan on buying the next one that is if my ps2 doesn't crash on me first. Yeah that's right all you people who want to get rid of xbox and a ps2..trust me that would be a big mistake.I've had my xbox and ps2 for about the same amount of time.But i have gone thru 2 ps2's and haven't had problem one out of my xbox.BUT MAYBE it's just me.Our how many people have had the same problem with their ps2.It doesn't want to read any of the games that they make for it? well maybe it's just me....but xbox rulz ps2 sucks but the games are cool

I have to say that it's better than raw 2. But it lacks more characters(Shelton,Charlie,Jeff,etc).And no blood! it's got to get brutal in the TLC and Hell in the Cell matches. The thing that gets me is that Kane has his mask. His video shows him with out it. The create a superstar still needs inprovement. But the graphics are awesome. They need some voices in it or at least some messages at the bottom. The Wrestle Mania XIX stage don't look nothing like the real thing. plus their is no unlockable characters in it. c'mon. The Wrestle Mania XIX for Gamecube is better but the graphics SUCK in it. i hope to see inprovement in the next raw game (if they make one). But i do think that it's better than the smackdowns for the playstation 2. Their graphics suck too. but i do like how you can slam your opponet threw 4 parts of the cell instead of just one trapt door. i would like to be able to slam somebody through any part of the cell. but overall it's a good game.

Where in the hell is the BLOOD?? This is a joke right? Every game that came out of WWE on Xbox has gotten worse... As an adult, I am sick of this crap!! Are you trying to make us gamers feel like we are naive and stupid to come out with garbage such as Raw 2?
What is so sad, is that Game Cube has better WWE wrestling games then Xbox!! If you do not believe me check out Wrestlemania XIX. Hey WWE and THQ wake up... your going to lose customers real fast!!
I am getting real tired of spending my hard earn dollars ($50.00) for a cartoon wrestling game!!
Give us wrestling fans what we want or get out of the business!!

ok for everyone that is having trouble with the ladder matches... when u get up the ladder and grab hold of the belt, rapidly click a+x at the same time and press all the directions on the d-pad. if u do it, u will get it every time. the ladder matches are the easiest for me. u can win in like 30 seconds if u do wat i just said. btw, the game would be a lot better with elimination chamber like everyone else said, and if there was blood and stuff. the dude that posted before me about the announcers being there to beat up and security to beat the hell out of has got the right idea. all that would make this game a perfect 10. but, it doesnt, so im giving it a 7. its lucky its gettin that though cuz it was a good game but got boring after a while. it would be much better with the US title and intercontinental title too. but i guess we will have to wait for the next raw game. well thats all i have to say but it wont let me submit cuz of the 200 words minimum

The game has great graphics and all, but the SEASON IS DAMN BORING! There is no story lines like in HERE COMES THE PAIN for the PS2. It has no action, no adrenaline, the thing of putting your own songs was great, or editing your characters, is awesome too. But its damn boring to see that season mode, just skipping all matches, and wondering if you do a surprise attack on someone, if you call someone, or set a trap for a wrestler and those "enemies" that the game put you randomly.
In my opinion GREAT GRAPHICS, GREAT GAMEPLAY, bad FUN FACTOR, like someone said after a few days the game does not have any more to leech from it. In HERE COME STHE PAIN, you can play season over and over again and get diferent entertaining story lines.
If RAW 3 is coming out PLEASE DO A RESPECTFULL WRESTLING WWE FOR THE XBOX (well old WWF was the thing, WWE nowadays sucks!).
Well Legends showdown is coming in, so i guess we gamers have another choice. CYA ALL

WWE RAW 2 is absolutly the best wreseling game so far!
i had doubts about buying it because i was burned on the last one, but in this new one the graphix are awsome looking, and the soundtracks are great, plus you can add you own custom sound tracks, and preview your entrance when you are designing a character, everything that was messed up before, like that little attitude meter that would only let you punch and kick so much, is gone! just wail away at them! and the special moves are easy to do now, just get your status bar in the red, and BOOM Rock bottom!
the only things i can complain about is that the characters still walk a little funny, and the controls are a bit odd to learn at first, and the computer still gets a bit of an advantage on you with the counts and stuff, but other than that this game has been a suprise. THQ and Anchor are finaly getting their act togeather and they have realized they need to stop making crap.

i waited... a long time for this crap... and im so dissapointed .. the grahics are good but the rest suxˇˇ on my very first match i was pinned at least 20 times in a role.. every time i wanted to get up my oponnent kick me and then pin me.. over and over and over and over and over again.. so this means that the a.i. sux, im so tired to run as an ashole over the ring, i lay the finishing move (S. michael´s sweet chin music) at leats 10 times and the count get only to "2" IN EASY MODEˇˇˇˇˇ (in ps2´s shut your mouth with one last ride or at least 2 sweet chin music your oponnent is pretty much done)... rey mysterio mask?? when mysterio has use that outfit?.... i guess the only thing i enjoy its watching Goldberg spearing me...of course i was tired of this game so i didnt play it anymore thats why goldberg spear me after i give him at least 10 sweet chin music.. stay away from this game and lets wait for the next smackdownˇˇ

Raw 2 was indeed made before the Elimination Chamber was even made a match. Look at the names as you can see many of the names are in caps. What does that tell you? It tells you that Raw 2 was in production way before everything. Everyone was updated from the previous Raw 2 game. Because in the old version of the game. Jeff Hardy was doing a Swanton Bomb off the ladder on Rob Van Dam. They held it back for new people, and also new matches. It to me is a perfect game. I love that fact that their added a few wrestlers. And the fact that if their did do a Elimination Chamber. It itself would take aleast over 2 months more to complete. You shouldn't cry over that. You should be grateful that it has what it has. And do your homework look at the old version of the game. There are tons of old images out there from the Raw 2. Because Raw 2 is a great WWE game. I would tell people to buy it more then Smackdown 5. No matter what Smackdown 5 has.
