raw 2 is pretty good but there missing alot. where is all the maches i quit,strecher maches ect. plus where r all the wrestlers they should have new and old wrestlers and u should be able to go backstage and when u call people out they should let u have a mach wheather ur popular or not. they should also chage some of the peoples locker rooms. also they should have better weapons, ect. it could of been a better game if they really tried o make it better.

Ok first off I rent WWE raw 2 to test it out to buy it and I agree with the other Smackdown people sym is way better by comparison. The only good things in WWE raw too is that it didn't suck more than the original wrestle mania for game cube with had horrible everything. More things wrong with the game are there missing great moves like the Mexican stretch buster and the five star frog splash that hit's your enemy so hard that it leave's them weaker that anyone. An the whole build your wrestler thing after he's done and u use him and u get points for him u can't use tem in smackdown there's no worry for that so u have great move's and greater graphics. The whole thing about saying your name for created wrestler that still needs work on both. Also the whole thing about how u can't get your popularity raised if you verse someone out of the ring is just horrible. An the thing about the ladder matches is just stupid that u have so press so many dam buttons I also think that the absences of the elimination chamber is the lowest this game sank. An the way the u don't see the belt went u are the champ in the entrance is a total set back from the more advanced smackdown sym. I do think that the way thq is handling the x-box and gamecube games are like if they are just sugar-coating the game. I Think this because it’s just a like more advanced version of the wwf’s old war zone or wwf in your house which was good at the time but that was in like 96’ and 97’ we need to move on and step up and so does thq. So in my closing statement I think that all of u that bought the game is an idiot and that all that rented it and thought it was horrible are true was of your money. I think Raw 2 is the best wwe game ever to be released.It has cool graphics and cool wrestlers like 619,Randy Orton,Stephanie McMahon.But I do think they should have Kane WITHOUT!!!!! his mask on. I think THQ should release Raw 3 as fast as they can because I know all of the wrestling fan hope Raw 3 is better than Raw 2.But Raw 2 is the best game around at the moment. I'll say to all of the WWE fans go out there rent Raw 2 even maybe buy it but I'm posotive you'll have a great time playing it.I bought Raw 2 and I'm never off my console so go on try out Raw 2 you'll have fun.

Calling all raw fans! This game will knock your socks off! The first one was really really boring. But Raw2 is much better. It even has better wretslers. Like Golberg, Ric Flair, Shawn Michles etc. If your still have Raw1, get Raw2. It's really awsome! Great mactes to like TLC, Hell in the cell, table etc. Cool graphics too . My favorite wrestler is Goldberg. You should really get this game!

Wass up with raw 2? I get it, why is it better than smackdown. Raw 2 is not even close to it, raw 2 has the best grahifixs but not good game play what i don't get is x-box should be the best but raw 2 is not that good that why i give this a the rate a 4.
This game should have backstages more matches type like the elamation camber match (etc). What i don't get is in smackdown their was ever a elamation camber match and in raw 2 their was so i don't get. Who made this game they should been fired from the job even i could made a game better then that!!!!

this game is really bad, ive seen better grafics and better game modes,the career mode is not really good because it too easy to beat, because all you have to do is beat them up by setting a trap. I much perfer the smackdown series over the raw games, i was waiting to buy this game and thought that it would be cool but then i found out it sucks, and it was a load of crap. I hope the next game will be 100% stratisfaction, in graphics, careetr modes and every thing in between.

Raw was an utterly abyssmal excuse for a game...Raw 2 is better in every way, so...Raw 3 should be awesome right? I agree with most peoples gripes about this game, but it could have really been a great game if they would have worked out some of the major problems with the game. Aside from creative issues (of which there are many) like the non-existent storylines in season mode, I find a new glitch EVERY time I play the game.
- Most frequently is the glitch where your opponent pins you after doing one move to you, you kick out in the nick of time, he kicks, he pins you again before you can get up, you kick out, he pins, you kick out...etc...over and over until your little digits are all worn out and you have to let the game win to get out of a never-ending loop.
- The game also locks up about every 3rd time I go to Create a Wrestler mode. I love losing wrestlers I spent hours creating. Good times.
- Sometimes the sound cuts out completely and can only be fixed by turning off the XBox.
- In season mode, my enemies ALWAYS interfere in my matches. When I say my enemies, I mean all four at once. But at least they ALWAYS attack my opponent instead of me which is a pretty big glitch itself.
- I walk through the tables a lot.
- The instruction booklet has an asterisk by the action button under "Game Controlls" that tells you the action button is used to "go off site" which you can't even do in the game(or at least, I haven't figured it out).
- I beat RVD like a red-headed stepchild at Wrestlemania for the entire 10 minutes of the main event, doing my finisher at least 10 times to him and scores of grapple moves and could not get a 3-count. Time ran out...match draw...really pissed...threw controller. (Maybe I should mention that the only offense RVD could muster was to kick me 3 times in 10 min.)
There is plenty more than what I have mentioned but I guess people won't read this if it is too long. Getting to the good stuff; despite all the problems, the reason I bought the game is because I love the interface. The controls are so easy to master it makes the game fun. The graphics are great and the physics of the moves look excellent. The create a wrestler is 2/3 of the fun of the game. And by the way, it is about time XBox came out with a title that utilizes the custom soundtrack feature; that is a major selling point.
The reason I felt the urge to give my opinion is because this game had the potential to be one of my top shelf games. Right beside Zelda, Contra, and Castlevania.
To whomever it may concern, how about this: you fix the exasperatingly obvious mistakes in the game, re-release it as the GOLD edition or whatever, and let people trade in their horribly buggy copies of RAW 2(just the game disc), take all the old copies out to a big field, burn them, and then never speak them again. You owe it to the people who are loyal to your product.

I think wwe raw 2 is the best wrestling game ever because it has the best entrances and the gameplay is really good.Whoever doesn't like the game is not a true wwe fan because no wwe fan will ever turn down a game like raw 2.it is a bit disappointing that there is no blood or elimination chamber but without it the game still rocks.for u people out there who have enough desance to try out the game and actually liked it and will play it again i will give u a few tips.to get evolution u have to go to create a team,then select a three-man team,select HHH ric flair and then randy orton,make the titantron HHH and the music to randy orton that is the real (evolution theme) put all entrance lights to flash and make the two titantron colours alternate back and forth,same as in the ring lights,make the team name evolution and make shore that there entrance moves are man man man and not man woman woman etc. to unlock the pants song u have to steel from lita three times in career mode, to unlock mick foley u have to complete career mode for five years. to unlock everyones theme song and titantron video in theatre mode u have to steel from that same person three times and u will unlock it. thank u for listening to my review and i hope all u true fans of wwe will play the best t.v. show';s video game in the whole wide world RAW 2 RUTHLESS AGGRESSION by tim hewlett australia australias #1 wwe fan!

you know after reding some of these lame ass reviews I realized about half have to be from children because people can't even spell correctly. and anyone that has any thing bad to say about raw 2 all I have to say is stop bitching and get your fat lazy ass out and learn how to make video games instead of sitting at home berating others for their hard work. THQ and all of the other companies making this game are trying NOT to make it like Smackdown! I agree that the smackdown! games are better but as for X-Box games raw is thier good wrestling title.
I enjoyed it cause it took me back to the days of WCW revenge and No Mwrcy. Smackdown! has yet to change its grapling system and it's too fast. some people seem to be missing the fact that they're not making a fighting game but a Professional wrestling game. most wrasslin is'nt that fast unless it involves cruiserweights. Hell whens the last time you saw hogan do any real wrestling. He talks, he stalls looks his opponent over and then hits some of the most simple wrestling moves and then wins. some of you people should think before speaking. plus they put a lot into the arena's hell wrestlemania got good reviews and all but had only a few arenas.
this game was good that's why I give it a 10.

BUT.............................there are a few errors in the game as well. for example, here are the parts in catergory : EXHIBITION MATCH TYPES - good - tlc (new), hell in a cell(new), table(new)!!! battle royal!!!!!!!!! ladder! cage, armageddon (new feature), 6 man tag (new feature), etc.... bad - no elimination chamber,8 man tag,stable,gauntlet ROYAL RUMBLE - good - everything!!!!! bad - nothing!!!!!!!!!! KING OF THE RING - good - not much....just the concept... bad - youll know when you play (tournament is better) TOURNAMENT - 10x better than k.o.r. (more options) SEASON - (this is huge!!!) good - agenda,allies and enemies,and LOTS MORE!!!!!!!!!! bad - there should be more options in the agenda,more allies and enemies,and a few other things (im the info guy, so ill be back with another review.) CREATE A SUPERSTAR good - most bad - profile could be improved (details,alignment,etc) , appearence could have more options, entrance should have more details (it rules but it still needs more) OTHER problems - if your doing a move, it can easily be stopped,NO backstage areas,and i think thats about it......i love the game, and i think wwe raw 3 will have all the problems fixed. Raw 2 was indeed made before the Elimination Chamber was even made a match. Look at the names as you can see many of the names are in caps. What does that tell you? It tells you that Raw 2 was in production way before everything. Everyone was updated from the previous Raw 2 game. Because in the old version of the game. Jeff Hardy was doing a Swanton Bomb off the ladder on Rob Van Dam. They held it back for new people, and also new matches. It to me is a perfect game. I love that fact that their added a few wrestlers. And the fact that if their did do a Elimination Chamber. It itself would take aleast over 2 months more to complete. You shouldn't cry over that. You should be grateful that it has what it has. And do your homework look at the old version of the game. There are tons of old images out there from the Raw 2. Because Raw 2 is a great WWE game. I would tell people to buy it more then Smackdown 5. No matter what Smackdown 5 has.

I bought this game and it is the best wrestling game on the X-Box. However, there is no competition at the moment (legends of wrestling 2 anyone?)which is why I feel the developers have held back (perhaps tweaking everything up in the next installment of Raw). The presentation of the game is excellent and the graphics, in my opinion, can't be faulted. The game-play is great(especially regarding reversing moves) and I found the speed setting to be a realistic pace (unlike the amphetamine driven Smackdown series).
There are a good selection of matches but because there doesn't seem to be a blood option, some of them seem fairly pointless. However, the interactive use with foreign objects is fairly comprehensive and the create a wrestler option is pretty good, giving a wide selection of options to choose from (including the excellent customise pyrotechnics and music entrance options). The season mode is nice and gives plenty of scope(reminiscent of Smackdown 2 with a few bells and whistles thrown in) but you have to work hard to get those 4 way hardcore matches and that. There is not much variety in what you can do though (steal, call out, encourage etc)
My big gripes are that tables are too easy to break. Often you walk into them and they fall apart. The AI system (which has been improved) is still ropey and each wrestler has the same problem in that the weight logic has not been recognised. What I mean is that Rey Misterio Jnr can slam The Big Show or eliminate him from a Royal Rumble! The Royal Rumble itself is pitiful. Why is it that the screen can hold at least 7 people (I've done it) yet a Royal Rumble can only contain 4 wrestlers on the screen at one time? Why do 4 start in the ring at a Royal Rumble? Every wrestling fan knows that 2 men start in the Royal Rumble until the timer runs out and another joins in. That is a cheap way out for THQ and have not really improved on older games in this instance for some reason!
Despite those gripes, they shouldn't be enough to deter anybody from buying the game but I think THQ should tighten everything up and include more new features for the next game. Stuff like Elimination Chamber,old style Survivor Series 8 man elimination tags and the three stages of hell style match (2-3 falls - with or without stipulations). Blood should be optional and the AI system needs to be more intelligent. This series has the potential to beat Smackdown fairly easily - providing THQ pull their finger out.

Raw2 was a mistake let me list them for you#1 Not the correct music for Los Guerreros, victoria,lita's,Matt Hardy,Kane etc#2 Kane still has his mask on but in his video he has it off.#3 Story Mode sucks it can't top smackdowns.Smackdown5 is a better game because of old school wreslers plus the old school undertaker,First Blood match Bra&panties and chamber match.So do the right thing dump Raw2 and get Smackdown Here Comes the Pain.

I got this game a month ago and I think it is a really great game. The graphics, the season mode, the create-a-superstar mode and also the gameplay of this game were successful in part from THQ. Since I also have PS2, and Gamecube and for those consoles I also bought XIX and Smackdown HTCP. Those games are also very great and they rival Raw 2 pretty good. Both have good features.
The first thing we need to see in Raw 2 is that they started making it a yeat ago so people might have complaints about the things that are not up-to-date. This is one of the things THQ had to look over but I don't blame them, they might have had to change the whole configuaration of the game to do that. Another big thing that is not acceptable is the A1 in this game. I can fully say that it sucks like s***. I try to ignore it but its stupidity is just alarming. Thq has to be told to think about the A1. Although it is not a big thing overall but in a normal brawl it can be annoying.
The last thing that I don't like about this game is that you cannot toggle the main controls of this game for example you can't turn off give up and turn on ko and stuff like disqualification. It may not bother many people but it bothers me.
Overall I think this game is one of the best wrestling games of all, competing the old No Mercy for N64. THe rating for this game over HCTP and XIX i think that this game Equals XIX because of many of the good features both of them have in them. But in no offence to any people who like Raw2 or XIX I think that Smackdown 5 Here Comes The Pain is the game that is a wrestling lovers dream. It is the best game for WWE that ever happened to PS2 and everthing else.

In my opinion i thought WWE Raw 2 was better than smackdown 4. When Smackdown 5 comes out i think that even though it is newer it will still have a hard time to beat Raw 2. I am not picking sides here because i own both a PS2 and an X-Box so i can play on both games. But Raw 2 has it all. The graphics live up to what everyone would expect to see on an X-box, The season is excellent such as when you can surprise attck or set a trap etc. The matches are excellent such as the Hell in the Cell not only can you knock them out when you knock them off the cell but you can put them through four different places. Unlike smackdown 4 where they went through one section and you didn't even get to see the whole move you saw half of it, next thing you know you're hanging from the cell getting beck in th e ring?!?! The Create a Superstar is what i liked most though on Raw 2 because you had everything you wanted. You could combine up to 4 callnames and say where you came from. The entrances are without a doubt the best thing ever on the game though. Such as having music from your x-box hard drive, choosing your Pyros with starting times, the entrance lights and my favourite feature was the fact that you could put words on the titantron with your created superstar performing a wrestling move. The roster on this game is also very up to date. Sure you don't have an eliminatiopn chamber but i'm okay with that because all the other matches are great enough. This game easily deserves a 10/10 score.

I play WWE RAW 2 every singal day! I just can't get enough of it! I think that the graphics are great and it has just about every wrestler I ever heard about! The theme songs and sounds are very real. I love wrestling and I am a huge fan of it. I thought I should get RAW 2 is because I loved RAW 1. I love all of the match types including Hell in a Cell, Cage, and Tables, Ladders and chairs! Everytime I get a chance I use my created superstar in the life-like season mode. My favorite part of the whole game is Kane's entrance. Its so cool! This game is awesome BUT, the ONE thing I don't like is that there is no evalution unless you make it (which I think is hard to do).

RAW 2 is an awesome game. I haven't played SD:HCTP, but I have played SYM, and RAW 2 surpasses the SmackDown series by leaps and bounds. The graphics rule, the Create a Superstar and Create a Team mdes rock, and season is pretty cool too. Overall the game is well done, and a vast improvement on RAW 1.
SEASON
The season mode is well done, and due to the undefined nature of the matches is a great challenge, even if the WWE and World Titles change hands once or twice a month, which seems unrealistic, and hard to get the title shot when you want it.
EXHIBITION
The exhibition mode is cool, with some fun match types. Some are missing, which I have listed below, but the rest are good, except anytime you try to grab the belt in ladder and TLC matches.
CREATE A SUPERSTAR
The hundreds of parts in the CAS mode are amazing, and make it hard to create two identical superstars (unless you go to clone.) In RAW 1, there were only around 50 different things, making it too easy to make two guys the same.

- Matches such as Elimination Chamber, Casket, Ambulance, Bra and Panties, Survivor Tag etc.
- Create your own moves, entrance moves and taunts
- Intercontinental, European, and US Titles

Some of ya'll kids don't no what ya'll talkin about! It might not have any blood and stuff that Here Comes The pain, and old school wrestlers, but I think its the best WWE game they ever had. And the Bad thing about this game is Rey Mysterio can't do the 619, and John Cena can't do the Fu. If you creat a super star you can Make him/her do some moves that you can't do on Here comes the pain. For example, I created a wrestler who can do moves that you have never seen. He can choke slam the person he's fighting. This is only for a Hell in a cell match. And you can pick the way you want your person to fight like. But the person you fight like you do the same moves and same specials. Holla at a player

and has better AI in my opinion of course smackdown has better move sets and a more updated roster RAW 2 season is fair to me but i think it can be a waste of time because u really cant have a storyline smackdown 5 has a good storyline but raw 2 needs a better storyline in my opinion. another thing is raw 2 has an awesome entrance selection for created wrestlers of course smackdown5 has a better wrestling creation dont get me wrong Raw 2 has a good creatation. The ladder match is diffucult because because i knock my opponent down get the ladder set up climb and hang and by the time i have a second to take it down that idiot gets up and pulls me down its like u need a glitch to win.the hell in a cell is cool i like slammin ppl through of course who doesnt. hardcore is my concern u cant go bckstage hell u cant go up the stage at least in RAW 1 u can go upstage all im sayin is u shold be able to go backstage.I think this game should have an elimination chamber.what else...street fight is decent cage is alot better than the one in smackdown 5 table is neat.the entrances is awesome although the edited entrances are gay.the pyro is pretty cool.the arenas are pretty cool. the match intro at the beginning is better than smackdown5 at least it shaows the real thing
