WWE Raw 2 for xbox is amazing. Unlike raw 1 you can fight at all different ppv's and smackdown setting. It has a great story mode. The hell in the cell is pretty awesome too. The entrances are great. Its like watching wwe live on tv. Great game! The create a team mode is pretty cool too. This is an all around GREAT game.

I have had it for about a week now and everything on the player entrances is awesome, from the timing on the pyro to the custom soundtracks, the gameplay is still a little sluggish but its made up for with the adrenaline rushing graphics, the season mode is cool becuz with up to 4 playing fighting for spots in the wwe it never gets old, its still got a negative in you cant wear the belt to the ring but thq did add a feature where u can carry the rings to the entrace way before your actual entrance, the steal feature is a trip becuz you can take merchandise from the other superstars by going into the bags, but the one thing you have to do is unlock the undisputed championship which can only be done by successfully winning both wwe and world titles simutaneously.

Raw 2, good graphics, awesome moves, awesome story mode. Awesome variety of matches, alot of new stuff to the wrestling video game era. I have found some glitches:
Cheap Computer: Staying down on every move was really realistic, unfortuantely, occasionally the computer will kick you and pin you, and you wont get up right away after the kick out. And he will kick you and pin you over and over again for about 2 minutes until he wins. I've found it to be quite annoying.
Interference is completely screwed up: When your enemy interferes to make YOU lose, he beats up your opponent and its almost like he is your ally.
Freezing: The game freezes about 2-3 times per day while its loading.
Occasional Title Glitch: One time I was in a title match, and my enemy interfered... after he got out, I beat the champion and won. After the match, the game gave the title to the enemy that had interfered in the match.
Slight Focus Glitch: Occasionally your character will focus on the referee for no reason, and itsh ard to focus back on your opponent.
The refs BLOW: all but one of the refs count as slow as crap. IN the season mode in the 10 minutes, its hard to get a win by pinfall within the 10 minute period, even after about 5 finishers.
Players Sumbit too easy: If you beat your opponent down with punches and kicks for about 30 seconds and only do one or 2 moves, it only takes 2 submissions before the guy taps out. It's really cheap.
One Last Thing: All the things you can do in season are awesome. Unfortunately, the cooler features only work 1 out of 10 times.
But apart from those glitches, (and few ohter minor ones)
The game is really good. I hope to see some of these glitches removed in future raw titles, if raw decides to pull a smackdown and release 20 games.

For those who had to live with the burden of the first Raw should really get a kick out of this game. The graphics are much improved on it for the first part, and the wrestlers look more up to scale with the wrestlers on TV. I also appreciated that they improved on the CAW option which was frustrating to work on with Raw I. It was just too annoying to figure out with all of the options they had for the wrestlers. Being able to edit the wrestlers on the game was great just in case I wanted someone like the Rock decides to incorporate a powerbomb into his arsenal. Speakiing of CAW the option of using downloaded music from the Xbox onto the wrestler intros was a great idea. I'm trying to look for the WWE anthology CD to help make some of the old school wrestlers and use them to compete with the current ones. The Royal Rumble is improved on this one. Now you can throw someone over the top rope unlike the last one where you had to pin to eliminate the wrestler. Hell in the Cell was a nice feature as well as adding the ladder match option. The game is good enough to keep you going until you can exploit every feature on it. My only gripe is about the freakn referees. Too freakn slow in my opinion. I can do two rock bottoms or about four F5's and the ref is doing a slow motion 3 count. It's just too annoying in my opinion that I did a lot of work only to be screwed by earl hebner of all people.other than that,everything else was great. The sound was good,the controls were easy to handle, and I'm enjoying the season format. And on a personal note, since I got the game, I have spent two days playing it non-stop. I'll probably stop if they make a Raw 3

WWE RAW 2 is absolutly the best wreseling game so far!
i had doubts about buying it because i was burned on the last one, but in this new one the graphix are awsome looking, and the soundtracks are great, plus you can add you own custom sound tracks, and preview your entrance when you are designing a character, everything that was messed up before, like that little attitude meter that would only let you punch and kick so much, is gone! just wail away at them! and the special moves are easy to do now, just get your status bar in the red, and BOOM Rock bottom!
the only things i can complain about is that the characters still walk a little funny, and the controls are a bit odd to learn at first, and the computer still gets a bit of an advantage on you with the counts and stuff, but other than that this game has been a suprise. THQ and Anchor are finaly getting their act togeather and they have realized they need to stop making crap.

I've been playing this game for about 4 days now and it rules. This game has some of the best graphics, sound, and One of the best superstar rosters I've ever seen! This is one of best games in the world. This is the best wresting game EVER, and thats all i can say about that.

This is the best wrestling i have ever played.Anyone who likes wrestling should get this.Graphics are by far the best in any WWE game,especially when you are fighting in the ring.Control is very responsive and you will never be at a part where controls made you lose.It will also last you a long time because it is different every time you play seeing as how they have a great number of match types.(there is about 10 just in exibition!)Sound is where this game falls slightly.The crowd could use an amp up in sound volume but overall the sound rules,its only the crowd that could have been a little louder.

This game kicks some serious ass. The rumble was a little bit annoying because of how lame it is trying to eliminate wrestlers but other than that the graphics are awsome and the game play is incredable especially compared to the $#< remove me > at ! BOMB that was Raw 1. Major improvement overall, makes my top 4 all time XBOX games ever with Halo,KOTOR,and Madden football.

I was surprised how ths franchise went from sucked to awsome that fast. This game is great it lets you change everything. if you don't like the fact that Lita's using the Hardy Boys music, change it. you dont like the outfit Stephanie McMahone is wearing, change it. you don't want Victoria doing some stupid slap, change it. you wish stone colds entrance had alot of pyro, change it. The season mode is top notch, you can steal items, set a trap, interfear, do a run in, complain, call out, rest, or just do nothing. The only down side to all this is you risk your energy bar when you attempt any of that stuff. Than the story mode gets real interesting when you play it with you and three of your friends. there are only two things I don't care for in the game and they are, 1. the in game music if you turn it off it also turns off the music for all the in game superstars that are using in game music, and 2. the create-a-wrestler mode is not as deep as Smackdown 4, but this is minor stuff compared to all the good stuff. Finally the Xbox has an awsome wrestling game.

this game sucks just like raw one, you cant go backstage or you can't even make the men bleed to top all of that,you have to do you special atleast ten times to pin the person so if you dont have it dont go get it because you will be wasting your money

WWE Raw came out in February 2002. This game was one of the worst attempts at a wrestling game that I have ever had the misfortune of Buying, Playing, and Trading in. This game had great character models, but that was the only thing great about it. WWE Raw had a story mode with absolutely no story in sight. The Create A Player had only one elbow pad.
!!!!!!ONE!!!!!!!!!. The gameplay was dominated by striking moves. What wrestling match is dominateed by striking moves? It doesn't make sense to be able to break up a finishing move with a punch.
WWE Raw 2 fixed all of the problems except for the biggest and most irritating one. That weak ass game play is back. A close friend of mine bought the game the day it came out. We played it together. I had Hollywood Hogan in a Armageddon match. I was putting my finishing move on Batista, when Kevin Nash breaks it up, in the middle of it, with a punch. That single act by Kevin Nash made me realize no matter how many match types they add, no matter how many new characters are added, this game still sucks in the worst way.
The only reason I didn't give it a 1 is I had som fun playing it with my friend at first. Now Raw 2 is a game that adds many features that were previuosly missing in some great wrestling titles, but that doesn't matter if you are struggling with such an $#< remove me > at ! backwards gameplay. I will say it was a big, and pleasant surprise to see the charecters moving on the screen that shows the match participants. Besides that I am still pissed off that I wasted my time Playing this game.

The game is really good but the intro for eddie guerro is really old and he not in the car when he comes out. Also the game is really cool because you can dowload your own music and put it on the intro. Another thing to bad it didnt had elmination chamber or bra & panties match cause it going be in the smackdown here comes the pain for only PS2. I think that game is going be better than raw 2 and it might be aroud between 9.5 to 9.7.It going to be release in october 27, 2003.
Oh well at least raw 2 is the best so far and i hope it better than here comes the pain.

one more thing i have the game and it was release on semptember 15,2003. I know people were mad about it beacuse it was suppose to be relase in May but am glad that it didnt realese in May cause then it would have bad story mode and bad mathches and wwe roster. The game is avaliable now at any stores so buy yours cause i got mine.

This is by far the best Raw that they have ever made. I was the first to buy it at EB Games and i'm glad that i did. The best wrestling game for the xbox yet. I love the custom soundtrack that is now on the game. I have alot music downloaded onto my xbox and with this feature i can now use the music that i now have on my harddrive. The create a wrestler feature is great. i love that u can now make up your own movie to come out to. this game is the cream of the crop. i love it

Best Damn Wrestling game Ive played to date, I just got it today, and let me tell you. Stunning Graphics, Great Story Line, Best Create-a-Player Mode, Best Roster of Superstars to go on the game. Just Watch out Smackdown 5, you better be better than this game! The best thing about the game is the game play has gotten way better from the old Raw game. Better Graphics, you can even set your own Intro Video for your created superstar. Right now, Im still in the first year, and the rivals are pretty great in the game, I hope everyone enjoys this years number one wrestling game.

WWE Raw 2 is the best wrestling game there ever is.. this game is so cool that every wrestling fan out there should buy this game... i mean there is nothing like this game.. the back stage.. u can even call out the wrestlers.. and plan attacks even before the match starts.. this is the best game ever made for xbox.. thas why this game is the BOMB...

So far, this game is pretty bad. THQ needs to drop anchor and stick with yukes (or hopefully get back AKI). Good news--tons more features. Updated roster, more match types, more arenas(unlockable)and a supposed better story mode (I haven't tried yet). Bad news--gameplay stinks. A little bit better than raw 1 but still awkward, slow, and does not flow naturally. You can stick all the other features, because last time I looked this was a wrestling game, and the most important feature (WRESTLING) sucks. Refs 3 count takes like 7secs. My 1st match was like 18 mins and I had to quit because I was bored. Not many moves, so very repititious. WMXIX is much better. It may lack some of the stuff raw has(good story mode) but the basic element of WRESTLING is in there and very strong, very fun. Graphics are good but the wrestlers do look weird. Their arms are too small for their bodies. Entrances are decent so far--nothing too special. Crowd is not as amped as WMXIX, no chants so far but dull anyhow. I do not believe that there is blood in this game (weak). Funfactor out of 10 is a 6.5 I may not have given this game a fair try but it has been very boring thus far. If you own only xbox and are a big wwe fan than give it a shot. If not save your money. I'd rather have WMXIX or wait for Smackdown HCTP.

WWE Raw 2 looks like the best game ever, amazing features like advanced story mode, lots of match types and around 70 top wwe superstars to choose from.The only concern on my part is the that the gameplay is up to scratch as it was terrible on the original.But i would say buy this game cos thats the bottom line cos stone cold said so!!!
