This Game is Bad Umm Kay.... | | Steven R. Hynes II from Indianapolis Indiana says (15/Oct/2003): | I mean Whats the point of a season mode if there aint no story. And in the ring, the game play is horrible. I mean how can someone push you and you become dayzed for a few seconds. And when you get pinned you have enough energy to kick out but not to get up. And I gave Chrash holly about 8 Pedigrees and he still kicked out. The timing is so off on moves. Like when your running at some one and you deliever a clothesline right at mid clothesline you end up getting powerslamed. And the entrance is horrible on some wrestlers like hogans pose down in the ring it looks like the way i do it. And when someone sideswipes a move or a punch that never happens either they block a punch or reverse a move. And In Tag Team Matches when your getting pinned your partner kicks you and not your opponent. And the refs count is so slow there is people kicking out at 1 after delievering a stone cold stunner. I admit there are some good points and there are some improvements. But when you want a wrestling game you want a good quality game with no flaws. And I dont understand when theres a Tag Team who in there right mind would team up Triple H with Steven Richards. Man I can go on all day of problems in Raw 2 but i have to go to work and save some money for Smackdown Here Comes The Pain.
| Raw2 over Smackdown SYM | | A gamer from Corpus Christi ,Texas says (22/Oct/2003): | ok, its my second day with RAW2, first of all when i saw the first entrence with Goldberg, i knew right away that the rest of em were gonna be good, the graphics are better then the smackdown series. The finish moves are cool, the create a wrestler is much better then raw1,1 thing i didnt like was it dont have the elimination chamber, or bra and panties matches, the best thing i like about raw2, is the entrence videos, you can actually jam to em and watch the movies while your at it..something the other games didnt have ( but raw1). whoever says RAW2 " sucks" is either to much of a ps2 lover to admit a xbox game is good, or something is just plain wrong with them. Now if you excuse me, i got to get back to the game.

And by the way, the last person said that it has almost every wrestler in the game that they have heard about, you must not be that big of a wrestling fan if thats all you know about. I personally like the new smackdown a lot more than RAW 2, even know i'm a huge Xbox fan. I still say that wrestling today is pure crap. They talk to much and wrestle like $#< remove me > at !. Go back to the mid 90's when wwf and wcw were at war and when wrestlers were not complete sellouts.

is the best game. Don't get me wrong i mean raw 2 has cool graphic and everything but matches still missing like Elemanation chamber,Bra and panty. Here comes the pain has all the mathes. I also did not like raw 2's story line i did not like it because winning tittles is easy and when you win the tag tittles they hug now come on! On here comes the pain there are legends. Like sgt. slaughter, The million dollar man,the old undertaker,hawk,animal, Jimy snuka and mush more.
So now you cansee why i gave raw 2 1 star. If you want to know how i know about the two games well i got xbox and ps2. I almost forgot smackdown has more titles thi are all the tittles

| Why New WWE Games Suck | | Aaron from guelph, ontario, canada says (12/Jan/2004): | First, I played Wrestlemania XIX for Gamecube... I noticed how stupid the story mode was, REVENGE? What the hell? Oher than that, it was great for playing with a bunch of friends but, whatever.
Then I played Smackdown Here Comes The Pain... people say this game is by far the best wrestling game ever... but why the hell can't they just make a game that has all the good stuff in it? First of all, you start playing the game, and you are in awe by how the graphics are, but then you play, and maybe being a wrestling game maniac, you still keep gettin yer ass kicked by the computer, even on the lowest skill level. I know you gotta practice, but DAMNIT, why do I wanna practice all day, and still get my ass kicked? The AI is just too strong.
Then... I go and buy an XBOX, and I buy the crappiest wrestling game I ever played, thats right... WWE RAW 2... and not even called "Ruthless Aggression" like it was SUPPOSED TO BE CALLED!. The fact is, on the game, there is no dstinction or seperation between RAW and Smackdown superstars, and you cannot decide which one to be afiliated with for each superstar. The create an entrance mode in ceate a wresler mode is the crappiest yet, except for custom soundtracks and entrance music, but thats it. The royal rumble mode sucks, there is no Elimination Chamber, no 6 or 8 man tag match types and the table match is so bloody hard I get pissed off with it. The ladder match is by far the stupidest ladder match type yet for any wrestling game yet. I can press the buttons lightening fast, but ARGH, the other superstar ALWAYS GETS IT! And it takes 5 minute to get the damn belt even after jumping for it!
Also the season mode sucks... there is very limited say. Also, I can't get the friggin title shots! Everytime I DO happen toget a title shot, it's a damn ladder match! THQ should go and suck butt for making such a fooled up game like this, making people beleive it's the best wrestling game availabe, suckering people like me into buying it. For God's sakes, even the screenshots I saw from previews before hand, arent even close to what is actually in the game.
I only gave this game a 1 because I previously had a worst game of all time... but this now makes that other game sound as fun as HALO. Seriously, i'm so ticked off at this game for many good reasons. Te previews were WRONG!

The gameplay is just as bad as the original RAW yet they managed to %$#! it up even more than before. The hell in a cell is lame, although falling through is decent. The graphics look like crap all the time and they're still missing half the themes.
The only good things in this game are:
1. Completely custom intros for CAWs (right down to timing pyros)
2. Options available during season mode
3. It's not Super Wrestlemania
That's about all there is good about the game. The engine is complete #$%< remove me > at , the graphics are pitiful, the AI is non-existant, the weapons suck, the moves are poorly animated, where the hell is the F-U?, why does Rey Mysterio look like %$#< remove me > at ?, why can't ANYONE get the timings right for Kane and RVD's entrances?, and just why the hell did I ever believe that THQ would make a good wrestling game for any system except PS2?
BAD GAME, END OF STORY, I WIN!
..............it seems I still need more words to send this review in so here it goes.
Video games are going to hell in a handbasket. Too many stupid people allowing stupid, bad games get produced, and too many idiots buying them and thinking they're the greatest things since sliced bread (another evil contraption, that rules out freak breadknife accidents from the survival of the fittest right there).
Stop making such bad games and make more good ones like Halo and Star Wars: KOTOR.
