Ohhhh boy... November 8 at midnight i was the first one in line to get that game! I was so ready to not go to school the next day just to play this baby! i went back home with my copy of halo 2 and put it in my big box, right when that screen came out i was like oh $#< remove me > at ! now its ON BABY. FIRST DISSAPOINTMENT... campaing had only 2 players coop that can only be played on split screen.. how dumb is that?? any way i didnt care much cause im gonna play xbox live. the plan was that i finish the story mode so i get warmed up then i got online and kill those bitches...the Graphics is amazing.. 3 times better than original.. SECOND DISSAPOINTMENT was that in the movie. every time the camera looks at another character the graphics becomes dull then right away comes back to original ( if u know what im talking about). And whats with cortana?? she became so lame, she says the lamest things i ever heard since i played true crime with that annoying A$$ ''Nick kang''her comments dont fit the game at all. another thing is LEGENDARY... they made legendary impossible!! i beat the first halo on legendary ( BY MY SELF)... but this is nearly impossible.. mabe cause halo 2 is foxed on more smaller Enviroments than halo 1 and mabe cause they took the lethalty of the pistol.. what do they want us to do?? run around kill flood in legendary with SMGS or shotguns?? ( if u find one) or mabe now that if one of ur buddy dies in legendary your gonna start over the last checkpoint and NO one can beat this on legendary! ill bet money on it... why?? cause those lame people that say that they beat halo 2 on legendary are just liers trying to look cool. if u live in a closet and have no xbox live and no one to play with u... i suggest u get GTA SandAndreas.. and no GTA is NOT better than halo 2... halo 2 is all about xbox live... i play mu halo 2 24/7 and its so much fun till now i think halo1/2 is all about multiplayer. Im not saying halo 2 is bad at all no. its the best game on xbox and ur gonna have fun with it and to me its worth $200 its just that i expected more from the killer app for the xbox. remmber... BUY HALO 2 its fun as hell.. you can high jack cars and all that other crap and lots of more stuff but if u have xbox live, then ur gonna throw ur ps2 and its sanandreas in the GARBAGE.. this game pushes the multiplayer to the highest point of intrest. so have fun when u get ur copy!!

Has anyone played Halo 2 yet? I have. It sucked. Worst story in gaming history. You want to know the story (if you haven't played it)? Here's the story: There is a giant space station floating mysteriously in space and alien forces are trying to activate it. Only, when activated, this space station will destory the whole galaxy! Oh my gosh! You play the role of a SUPER SOLDIER. As a SUPER SOLDIER you have the ability to wear a suit that no one else seems capable of wearing. This AMAZING suit gives you the awesome power to RECHARGE YOUR SHIELDS! WOW! You're a super soldier and all you can do is wear a suit that can recharge its shields? Weak.
Anyway, back to the story. Alien forces trying to activate a space station that will destroy the galaxy. Sound familiar? That's because it's the exact same story from the first Halo. What a disgrace. There are some minor sub-plots that differ from the first Halo (like the civil war among the Covenant Forces between the Brutes and the Elites) but over all, Halo 2 is Halo 1 with new maps and different weapons. Horrible.
And here is the worst thing: The ending. The Master Chief (your character) says "I'm going to go save the Earth." Then it ENDS. It just ends. It was horrible.
This, of course, leaves it wide open to a third and even more redundant game. You know what the best part of this is? The third game is going to be released only on XBOX 2. That is straight from Bungie's mouth. XBOX 2 is listed as running between 400-600 dollars. So if you want to play the third installment in the Halo series, you have to fork over 400 dollars and buy an XBOX 2 when they come out.
I loved the first Halo. I thought it was an awesome game, and this new one just pisses me off. The writer of this game should hide his head and cry. And what's all this hype about duel weilding? That's been the norm for games for years before the first Halo even came out. This game was six years in the making and the best they can come up with is duel weilding weapons? Whoopty do. Oh, and you can steal other enemies vehicles, and Cortana talks a lot more during this game, making you want to put a bullet right through her hologram skull.

i have been playing halo 2 since it came out. It is the best game i have ever played in my life. The graphics are great, so are the weapons and just everything about that game is awesome.
I am on the level called delta halo. Soooooooooooooooo........ basically i am saying for anyone who has not bought this game you should. Also have you guys played the multiplayer mode. That is also more fun then the first game with the new maps and stuff 83. Well i am going to play the game right now so buh - byes.It is so fun.Thank you.

Halo 2 is good at first glance. the first 3 levels are almost perfic, holding two weapons priceless. Then the problems kick in. Playing as an Elit for half the game is wrong. Master chef is basicly an extra in this game(he is not even in the last level). I hear many things about this game and seen many clips, you were suppost to be albe to ride on 6 kinds of worthog, and climb walls and push tables over, no of which is in this game. Also i seen a person play it at e3 two years ago and that level looked cool thats not even in it. The stroy is good exept from the really bad ending. graphics good(cut seance buggy). multiplayer is where halo lays know i have nothing bad to say about that. lets just hope Bungie and Microsoft can get Halo 3 out befor xbox fans start to hate them for what they have done to the first almost perfic halo game. I feel so bad having to write this but it is so true.

i really like being the covenant because u have more allies, i also like the backrounds and being able to duel wuild.
theres one thing i dont like.the FLOOD is back and theres what i like to call super flood because the have shields and are a lot better than normal flood.they are hard.with the ending u should suspect there being a halo 3 because he never finishes his trip.The graphics and the game it self is way better than halo 1.i love it and i love and i love it.it is the best of the best.

i'd been looking forward to halo 2 since i completed halo 1 (which was like two days after it came out) and both my mate and i have too say we're a tad dissapointed, you know the graphics are great and everything and we love all the new stuff and the elite levels are really fun (sorry if i've just spoilt that for you) but the game still has something to be desired you know the story just has something missing , whereas halo 1 had an extra "pazaz" so to say this can't live up to it and i'm about too say about the ending so don't read on if you don't want too, and the ending, what the hell is that you can't have the main character getting on the last heirachs forerunner ship and it arriving at earth and then just leave it, i mean it just shows they want more money because they've left it on a massive cliffhanger, sorry every one but it just pisses me off, i hope this helped you

If you enjoy shooter games Halo 2 is the one to get. It has cool graphics and plus you get to shoot some alien ba$tards. Another cool thing about the game is that it is compatilbe with xbox live which is also radicale. The maps on Halo 2 are so much better than the first Halo. I bought a xbox just to play Halo 2 #1 game in the world. Trust me it is worth selling your gamecube or your ps2 for a xbox and Halo 2. i personally hope they make a Halo 3 in 3 or 4 years.Thanks for Reading

Halo 2 is beter than the original, and worth the wait. New multiplayer maps (which are awesome in XBox live), dual weilding, and new weapons. Plus playing an elite with cloaking (only ten seconds, but still cool). AI is much better both ways, but sometimes it will seem that some covenant will "freeze up" for about 5 seconds. Beat it up to heroic, and it just gets harder. Cinematics are better than ever. And weapons are more suited to enviroments. Above all, this game rules. And they leave something for Halo 3 (u'll have to beat it to get some clue.) Good Luck out there.

If bungie make halo 3 which they probally won't it's gonna be tough to beat halo 2. dual wealding is great the big daddy dual weild is the double plasma rifle,Bungie u are brilliant!Game plays brilliant like u can roll right over in a wharthog instead of getting out which is so cool,bhanshees on split screen well we asked for it we got it! Never forget old plasy sword though shame thaye've changed it from the first halo but still as good as ever!

Halo2 is awesome it is the best game ever! You can carry two guns at the same time, and you can carry those beam swords that elites have, drive wrath tanks,and thiers other new vehicles as well,the Spectre, the WLAAV Warthog(warthog in halo1 is WLAV)and other vehicles,also thiers new guns my favorite is the grenade launcher,thiers also new covenants(like brutes and prophets) and you can fly Banshees in multiplayer!Your base in Halo2 is much better than the base in Halo1 your base in Halo2 looks like a mansion!f a Halo3 comes out imagine how good that will be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Halo 2 has kept me cramped up in my room for hours at a time. It is one of the best games I have EVER played, the graphics are unbelievable, the dual-wield is ingenious!!!, the warthog is kinda the same as last year but this year there are two different kinds of warthogs. One is equipped with a regular machine gun in the back and the other has a cannon in the back --a M68 Gauss Cannon to be exact. The tank is way better then last year. It has better controls and if you don't watch your back an enemy could jump on the tank and throw you off. The ghost and banshee are the also vulnerable for attack from an enemy, for example an enemy could jump on your banshee and kick you off or punch you off. But the best part is YOU CAN DO THE SAME EXACT THING BACK. To be honest, I think last years assault rifle is way better. This years rifle you only get like 4 shots per time and then you have to stop and then shoot agian. Im on the ninth level and stiil haven't experienced the Spectre , shadow and wraith which are new vehicles like the banshee but from what I can see in the manual, WAYYYY better.I have one hint for HALO 2 players. I hate those hunters that always come in pairs and take a long time to kill. Well all you do is go up to one and start hitting it with the biggest gun you can find by pressing "B". Note- The other hunter will not hurt you while you are kicking the otherones butt. It may sound crazy but it WORKS. For all you gamers, buy HALO 2 today, It will definitely be worth your while and wallet. If you have any questions please email me.

I finish Halo 2 yesterday night and I have to say that is one bad < remove me > at ss game. It's a bit short then one would want it to be but it is still fun. I have to say that the storyline is much better and the weapons are the best in any video game I have seen. They have set it up for Halo 3 which would be interesting to see how they could make it better. Fifty bucks is worth it. It’s cool how they have added new enemies. The grunts are not as scared as they were in the first one so watch out. Have fun.

I have both Halo and Halo 2 for xbox. Let me tell you these are the badest games you will ever play on any console. Halo 2 has great graphics, more detailed levels and weapons. You can also use Covenant weapons and the orignal marine weapons used in Halo 1. Im not going to tell you the ending, but I will tell you it will leave you wanting more. (Such as a Halo 3)(There are 15 levels not 14)If you havent got Halo or Halo 2 yet then I recomend you shutdown your computer right now and go to Wal-mart or were ever you buy games and get. The Limited Edition comes with a Dvd that tells the making of Halo 2 and what they had to go through to make this wonderful game. It also has some deleted movies that Bungie did not add to the game. It comes with a 2 month trial to xbox live and a buy 1 get one free slurpie card.

Im at the point where i have met the flood so far but my < remove me > at $$ is getting kicked to kingdom kom!! The robots fry you and the flood gun you to h£ll!! The dual weild rules!! You can shred an alien with your SMG the fry some more with a covenent pistol!! The power sword is a wicked one hit kill and comes in handy for tight situations( especially against those tough flood). This is one H£lluva game and is a must buy for all true gamers of the Xbox!! Shred you later on LIVE :-)HOOOHAAAA comrades...DO YOU WANNA LIVE FOR EVER!!!!

Don't get me wrong i'm a halo freak its just that they took out some things they shouldn't have. The pistol is now changed and it doesn't have a zoom function. Now you can fall and it won't hurt you. it may sound good, but the #1 reason i liked halo was it was so realistic.Over All halo 2 has definitly lived up to its hype, Great graphics,storyline, gameplay, multiplay, and Online! I would give it a 9.8, but i cant. Halo 2 is the best game of 2004 with just some minor problems. After you buy this(YES YOU SOULD BUY IT)there would be no other reason to buy another game.Well that is untill you Halo 3 comes out.

HALO 2 is 'the' game of this year, and maybe years to come. this game is brill. its in some was as better than the original HALO but not.
for instant:
on the original you could stand on the tank turret, on HALO 2 you cant.
But this time you can sneak up on those people that get a tank and go on a rampage. if you go behind a tank[whilst some one is in it] you can jump on the back and plant a grenade[after meleeing a panel off]. a lot of the time, the tank driver cant see you till its too late, they also cant get you off.
you can also have two people on a car, although they arent on the same team, which makes quick allegiances easyier.
there are new multiplayer games, like JUGGERNAUT, opne person is the juggernaut whilst everyone else tries to kill him/her. the person who has the killing blow becomes the next juggernaut and this goes on till the score limit. the juggernaut with the most kills wins.
on the subject of multi player, if you go into split screen and go on options, you can turn banshees on, nearly all the levels support them, but you cant use the fuel rod cannon[green missile]
the guns sound diffrent, the pistol is exchanged for a magnum[similar looking, just black] and dual weilding kicks ass, especially with needlers.

I was fairly dissapointed with Halo 2 when i first got my hands on it (11th november 2004) due to it's pathetic multiplayer maps. Campaign is pretty decent though i have completed it on legendary already (13th november 2004). I thouroughly enjoyed the stealth ability and the enhanced AI, the graphics are supreme and the sounds are better than ever, the flood creep me out often. The ability to board vehicles and smash the hell out of the driver is pretty sweet. The Arbitor levels are great, and are the earth levels.
The weapons are a slight dissapointment as none to impressive damage except the shotgun, brute shot, energy sword, (AMAZING WEAPON!) and the super version of the rocket launcher. The duel wield is pretty decent (Tip for legendary: Duel wield two plasma rifles for bull$#< remove me > at ! damage).
The vehicles are sweet i especially like the wraith and the new banshee manouvers. (Yet another tip for legendary: Stick to faster vehicles like the warthog and ghost, if you use the scorpion or wraith your a sitting duck).
The enemies are vastly improved from the last game, if you hide behind a pillar they will blast it away to blow your cover, they'll hunt you down with flashlights and jump and crawl to safety. You need a load of wit for this game. The new enemies Drone and Brute are swell, the brute can take unbelievable damage and give unbelievable damage though rather slow. The drones are easily dispatched with a few shots but those few shots your going to have to work for as the drones can fly and run at fast speeds. The Hunters no longer have a one hit kill area no more but the orange spots when shot does do more damage than shooting the armor or shield even more difficult is their new gun, more or less a weaker version of the Scarab's weapon. The Elites are more intelligent than ever before and do a hell of a load more damage. The Grunts still suck on their own but in groups their a problem. The Jackals are natural snipers this time using the energy beam to tear you apart, some still use the old shield and plasma pistol ( Be warned if your attacked by a group of Jackals in legendary your in a death trap as the Jackals can be the most deadly enemy in the game while in groups). The flood has serious upgrades like energy shield, cloak, ability to use all weapons, ability to use all vehicles and the spores can now jump into the dead parisite corpses (Humans and Elites) and make them live once again. Never let the flood get you into a tight space, surrounded and you'll be fine. The sentients are capaple of loads of damage now and usually come with an energy shield. There is a new addition to the sentient crew, a huge flying robot thing which will pull you up into the air using anti-gravity and crush you to death if in vehicles, they have a shield in the front which can be hard to brake with balistic weapons but easily destroyed by plasma and energy weapons, they can launch missiles which to slight damage (Only used if vehicles are present) and energy balls which can be devistating (Only used on troops). The best thing to do against these is shoot one of the arms off as then it cannot use the monstrous crushing ability.
The plot is a good story (NO SPOILERS HERE ;).
This game is brilliant, the only let down is the sloppy weapons and the crap multiplayer.

halo 2 is the best game ever. I just beat it and i loved it. I have a sercet. If you beat the game on any seting you will unlock a new level. I will tell you it is not the best level ever i personly think that the new blood gulch is the best byt on a sale from to ten it is a 8. I would to give thanks to gray gilley and brian shugart. I hope that every one beats it and that there is a third halo. I am going to beat it on legendary now. I will go now i know i am buging you see yea.

Halo, Rated 10 out of 10 made millions of dollars and then comes Halo 2... Halo 2 is a good multiplayer game but lets face the facts the vehicles suck or rather the human ones do.(warthog scorpion etc.)On normal mode it has no ending... when they meant cliffhanger they literally ment, cliffhanger. It ends literally just plain ends. Its told if you beat the game on legandary its as if it has a different story line. Shotgun more realistic which is good, energy sword adds a nice touch. Campaign is to short. Graphics are great. Sound is good. Still some glitches(but they dont bother me. All in all a 7 is good

This game is absolutly the best , no words can describe it im sad to say though the ending was a bit dissapointing. But it doesnt matter and for those ppl who play ps2 fu-- you and grand theft auto san andrea's HALO 2 owns that. The best part about this version of halo is that the graphics are much , much better im telling you there are no graphics that are more realistic than in this game. ABSOLUTLY AMAZING. The flood look absolutly amazing in this version of halo the covenant awesome and the weps and dual wield. Im telling you you cannot live without this game. There is no other game better than this. My frienda are even switching from ps2 to xbox UNBELIEVABLE!!. Halo 2 is the most amazing game you will ever get to waste your time on. 15 of 15 levels all intense and get harder by the minute and in this action packed shooter you'll get to drive any car be COVENANT and dual wield plasma rifles to sub machine guns!. If you dont buy this game ur gona go insane!
