What's So Special About Halo? |

I don't understand why Halo is so fun and the best game ever? Is it the point like you shoot people and throw bombs on people's ass? What's so fun? I have to say that Halo is OK but then it gets pretty boring after a few hours.
Plus everyone gets so upset and hyper about it.

"I COULD PLAY IT OVER AND OVER WITHOUT STOPPING!"
Yeah whatever "Halo lovers".
And with the Halo party happening every week? You'll end up a fat loser who lives with his mom playing Halo in the basement.

wow when you see the flood somethimes it scares the crap out of you and others well they are annoying god they kewl. the marines are great they dont frag u or anything like that they actually are really helpful and when they have that sniper that u want u dont have to kill them to get the sniper!! thats a real relief and the helljumper look tight the covenant arnt stupid anymore!! and the game is hard in normal the grunts speak funny still the hunters can wack u form the back and that is scary a couple bad things though.. when ur shield is down u will die really fast. the brutes kinda remind me of wookies... but they go to town after a while and kill u cortana is still kewl i still havent beet i just got to the part after u talk to that plant thing with the eliet and prophet so i think i gotta ways to go thx for reading this

Everybody talked about this game being da bomb, ever since the first halo came out. Quite sad though, all these freaks obsessed with the game are probably going to kill themselves once they play it. Oh sure it has killer graphics, great movies, wepons and all dat. But the ending absolutely sucks, and the levels... not enough of em, plus like they spent a few years on this game and it seems more like they went a month, did a half a$$ed job and said screw it, that my frendz is the creation of a dissapointment, i suggest that they maybe try a bit harder and make the game more challenging, cuz i beat it in 3 days, but i played less than 8 hours alltogether, and this is on both hero and legendary dificultys.

Years of waiting finally came to an end on the 9th August 2004. One of the most anticipated games in history finally found it's way into my hands. My initial reaction was thinking that there is no way this game could possibly be as good as everyone says. 7 hours later and I had to force myself to go to bed as the wee hours of the morning were hitting. Where do you start with this game. I am yet to finish the game completely but have found that what I have played so far is worth the wait. The storyline if much improved from the first, as is the video sequences in between gameplay. I love the fact that the gameplay intertwines between Humans and Covenant and this concept offers you something different from the original Halo. Absolutely love the duel weapons addition also. It is great to see what works well with each other in terms of having a quick firing weapon accompanied by a slower but more powerful one. I also enjoy the variety of different weapons on offer (my favourite being the laser sword). My only dissapointment was probably the difficultly in sometimes using the vehicles on offer (however, this could just be my poor warthog and ghost driving skills). Probably another dissapointment may be the fact that the game is probably a lot easier in parts to the original but this is probably just being picky. The other game modes should offer plenty of hours entertainment once the actual game is finished. Slayer in particular for me as there is no better way to sort out an argument than to fill your opponent full of needlers. I read a review on here bagging the fact that people need lives and to get a woman, well I have a woman and I can tell you this. Halo 2 doesnt nag, make you sleep in the spare room and doesn't expect you to respect it in the morning. The only reason I didn't rate it a 10 is because they need somewhere for Halo 3 to go.Brilliant.

Ok, I just finished HALO 2 on normal setting and god it's sweet.
I was wonderin if anyone has done it on legendary yet and can say if u find out extra stuff that u didn't see in normal (don't wanna spoil it so i'm tryin to be careful).
Also, I noticed that u can't use the auto guns on the Covie tanks which kinda sucks but u don't really need em.
THE FLOOD RULE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They look alot like what they possessed and they can come back to life if a baby flood (u know the thing) goes into a fallen adult flood body!

I bought Halo 2 on the 9th and finished it on the 9th, so the campaign is fairly easy but so much more fun, for example when you are getting attacked by a ghost run up to it or jump on it and hold "X" and you highjack the vechile while beatin the hell outta em, but if you highjack a tank or wraith it isnt so easy so when you have jacked it tap "B" repeatedly and you will smash it up or if you wanna really FU?? em up you can pull the left trigger and through a grenade on em.
Also in multiplayer they have finaly put the banshi in multiplayer wot is cool but they have disabled the strong plasma fire on it, but have added tricks, if you in the banshee hold down and tap "A" and you do a backfilp also you can do it with left and right and do barrel roles.
also wot was one of the best things in this game where the graphics the a surperb and the seenery is always different and doesnt get used over and over like in the irst one.

HALO 2 is the best game i've ever played. The graphics are awesome! the game play is awesome! the new enemies are awesome! the whole game is awesome!!!!!! My favorite weapon combination for multiplayer is the Covinent Carbine and the Covinent BEAM SWORD!!! I shoot my opponent from a distance with my carbine and slowly close the distance between me and the enemy, then while the enemy is scared because of me expert aim they are coming in and of cover. While they're in cover I run around them and then I pull out the BEAM SWORD and shove it right up their A S S!!!

ive had an xbox since it first came out and cost $500 for a package deal. halo and halo 2 make it worth the price. this honestly has to be the greatest game ever made. the only games i even care for are the halo series and splinter cell games. the graphics and storyline are better than ever. and the new weapons are awesome, even double fistin weapons! you honestly couldnt ask for more in a game, but they still gave you more. they really went and outdone themselves, and it was definitely worth the wait. if you dont agree with me, you must be crazy. or blind. but either way, its nonstop action and gets my heart racing everytime i play it.

I just got Halo 2 yesterday, and played it for about two hours last night. I have got to say it is awesome. The controls are pretty much the same, but you have all kinds of cool new weapons and vehicles. The enemies are definitely smarter and harder to kill. Being able to board the enemy vehicles like the Wraiths and kil the driver so you can steal it from him is really cool. The rocket launchers are way more useful now that they have a lock-on feature. You can actually blow up a Ghost with a rocket launcher. The environments are way more detailed and interactive. The enemies are more detailed and the AI is way better. The hunters are huge, and you can pick out their weak spots much easier. You can't dodge their attacks as easily though.
Everything about it just rocks. I can't wait till I get home from work today so I can play it some more. I think I am going to have to just leave work early. I can't take it.

I loved Halo 2 I was going on the edge of craziness the day it came out. I love everything about the game. I really like the two story lines. I love how we see both sides of the war. Master Chief's armor is the coolest. I love the realism of it and it feels like I am The Chief. I love the dual weilding. I love when I dual weild two smgs. Sure it may not be the most accrurate weapon but it is fun running around and killing everything in the vicinity. I love how the vehicles look. I really enjoy the different sounds that the vehicles make. I do appreciate the help the marines/elites give me but they all drive like idiots. It kind of reminds me how I drive haha. I like Cortana's new look. She looks more human. I especially looooooooooove Master Chief's armor. It makes me wish I had my own suit like that. I love all the weapons theat they have in Halo 2. All in all I looooooooove Halo 2. And remember support our Spartans!!

Halo 2 is one of the best games i have ever seen. The graphix are so much better than halo 1. I like how the ghost and stuff only blows up half way so you can still use them. I also like how you can kick people off the ghosts. The warthog has an emergency brake (which i like on the cliff level because i keep almost falling off) I dont like how they kept the flood in it and didn't change them at all but i think it was clever that 343 guilty spark was the oracle. it is also cool that there are more guns but i think they should have got more new enemies. I know its coll that they improved the vehicles but they could of made some new ones (even though you can drive enemy tanks and spectrs). i think its cool how you can play as the covonent in some of the levels. i like how you dont have to pick camoflage up but you can just hit the white button and use it. those stupid hunters are harder too (if you don't think so don't complain). but i think the game is cool overall! Just don't go beaten it in 1 day and then say it was too easy!!!

Oh my god my pain and agony is finally over....Finally Halo 2 is out of my dreams and into reality. I have been up 3 days now off of work and kickin a55. This game is so freakin
HOTT!! I mean what other game can you yield 2 (not 1) but 2 M7 SMG'S and blow away any that step before you. I give Microsoft and Bungie hats off for putting this game off to perfect it. It was well worth the wait. I can only say that my other games will collect inches of dust before this comes out of my XBOX. I am on level 12 and havent played online yet, so there is much that i am missing, but i just moved and my cable isn't on yet. But for those who would like to play me later on, my gamertag is blynd cyded so add me to your friends list and we will meet up.

I'll keep it simple. Take the day off work. Fill your house with food and your friends, and prepare to yell, scream and hoot your way into plasma blasting oblivion. Well worth the wait, especially if you own a plasma TV and the high-def graphics upgrades. Full surround sound lets you know what's going on behind you as well. The coders of this game are Gods. From the incredible dual-wield of weapons (read: kill way more aliens), to a better developed storyline, and my personal favourite, the locking and target acquisition while using the bazooka. Can't wait to see what else is in store as I get further! So quit reading and go get your copy. NOW NOW NOW!!!

Its a great game. But why would you not put A.I. Bots in the game. I think Timesplitters 3 will be better, but thats what i think. One of the best parts is you may choose to be a spartan or elite. Target is selling halo 2 and givin you the free guide only on sell for a limited time. Any way there are many more levels then the first. The new multiplayer is great. The graphics are the same though even though bungie said they were going to improve the graphics. The new weapons are sweet. The brute shot is the $#< remove me > at !.

Halo 2 is GRRRREAT!!!! If you like shooters, this is the game for you. The graphics are so much better than any game I have seen, other than PC games. Cortana is better detailed and has longer hair. The surrounding areas are bigger, better, and more detailed. You can see debris falling around when your in battle. Last night, my husband and I just sat starring at the screen and he said "Sh-- we just f---ed up that whole city. Nothing but smoke, fire, and destroyed vehicles was left. You need to stay with your troops as much as possible, because they get slaughtered without you. But thats like any game. The troops help a lot more. Their aim is better at killing the enemy. The only problems I've seen so far is they drive like maniacs, so watch out they will run you over. I think they had too many tequilla's. haha. The weapons are a lot quieter and smoother. I like te dual-wield. Just keep shooting and then drop a gun throw a grenade and pick your gun right back up. Thats cool. I don't know what else to say. I'm only on the fifth mission out of fourteen. I still have a ways to go. I can't wait until I see the Flood. I wounder if they are going to be more scary and creepier?! Happy gaming everyone and maybe I'll be killing you on LIVE. hehe :)

I got Halo 2 the minute it came out last night at midnight. Trust me everyone, if your a Halo 1 fav you'll blow nuts over this one!
Just about everything you wish you could do in the first one you can do in this one. As well, remember the amazing well made jeeps from the last one? Ya know, the ones you could grenade through the air and it wouldnt have a scratch on it. Oh yea, a lot more destruction in this one. Be sure to get x-box live and check out the sweet multiplay on the new one as well. Thats all I'm going to say about it, so go and buy yourself a copy today!

Even to where your machine gun causes your aim to raise up from recoil. I'm not sure, but it seems that the aliens can also mimic your fellow soldiers speech and lure you into a trap. I heard familiar voices and wound up walking into an ambush, with no fellow marines around. Sneaky are those aliens. Check out the extra little add-ons like the sun setting, quotes on bilboards, etc. You can even personalize your own suit colours, emblems etc. Way way more than just a shoot-em-up game. So quit reading and go get your copy. Now Now NOW!!!

Halo 2 is possibly one of the best games to date. I just got mine and it is sick. Two player mode enialates its pedecessor, with new levels and vehicles to die for. In a few of the campaign levels you actually get to play as an elite! As the elite you have limited invisibility powers. Also, marines can drive, and there are 3 new additions to the covenant's army. They are Brutes Drones and Prophets. The Flood is also back from the original Halo. Some parts are a little confusing but once you take a second everything is clear. The pistol has been removed and there is another pistol called a Magnum. The rocket launher is the same, and Sniper Rifles now have 5x and 10x zoom as opposed to the old 2x and 10x zoom. The assault rifle is gone and now there is a Battle Rifle which fires in 3 round bursts and is highly effective. The duel weildable SMG (small machine gun) is my favorite gun especially when duel weided. There is also a whole slew of covenent guns including the old plasma pistol and rifle, the covenent carbine, sentinel beam, beam rifle(alien sniper rifle), brute shot and a few others. All guns can zoom in to 2x, BUT they lose the crosshair aiming system while zoomed in. Not much else to say, hope I answered any questions. GET HALO 2!!!!!!!

6:57 it was to easy the way it ended disapointed me if any 1 reading this hasnt bought it good just borrow it from a friend or rent it u should be able to beat it in 1 day if u dont waste time if they make a halo 3 wich i think they will i wont buy it ill just wait for a friend to or just rent it to c how the game continues but other wise a complete waste of time...

Halo 2 is the best game ever made if you like first person shooters.Multi-player is where halo 2 is at ,no multi playeer you can chose from master chief or get this you can also chose a elite.The guns you get to use is just unbearable:pistol,sub machine gun(smg)Coveant Carbine,the new battle rifle,plamsa pistol,plasma rifle,convenat sniper rifle,fuel rod canno(that the secert gun)and more.Oh how ca i forget dual weilding where you get to hold 2 guns(try holding to needlers,pistols and to SMG.but the graphic is where halo 2 is outstanding, it make you feel like you are really there.and the new and old aline you fight are:Elite(a brutal alien with a brute shot{greade lancher],grunts,jackals elite and a prophet(they are the leader of the whole alein thing,but get this it a alien called an honor guard this alien guardsd the prophets so be careful when you try to ill a prophet.oh $h!7 how could i forget the boarding action if you getting tired of getting ran over don't complain just hop on the back of the enemy vehilce and just kick or punch him out the seat but be careful all aliens can board.Speaking of vechile if you hate you friend rife in the tank in muti player just start shooting at the tank and watch the fireworks you friend will be as mad as h-e-l-l.SO WORLD GET READY FOR THE GAME OF THE DYNASTY ---HALO 2---
