Fun Game | | A gamer from USA says (1/Nov/2003): | This game isn't much different from the first one. The fighters are mostly all the same and the mathes last about 1 round if you have gaming talent. But enough of downfalls. The improved graphics really increase the excitement in the game and even the crowds reality is excellent. The way that Bruce Buffer announces (quick) if a relief. Other than the very easy to beat oppenents this game is a really fun game and just to top it off the new Champion Road and Ledgend Mode are very entertaining.

O'Reilly from Commerce City, Colorado, United States of America says (23/Aug/2003): | Even though I was a little disappointed with a lack of new faces and new countries, I liked the whole career mode and have been enjoying the -beep- out of it. I liked the improved graphics, like the animated audience and announce table. I loved the new entrances that were complete with video tron footage. On a down note, I was disappointed with the lack of in-depth intros for created characters. Bruce Buffer at least told the audience what discipline and country of origin the created fighter possessed in the first Tapout. He could of at least said these things in the second one. That aside, I loved the championship road and legend mode introduced for this game.
So, minor setbacks aside, this game is sweeeeeeeet!!
| what kind of secuel is this????????¡¡¡¡ | | Juan villagran from mexico city says (23/May/2003): | if u are a mma (mixed martial art) fan, u sure loved the ufc videogame at D-cast then we saw 2 very awfull secuels for PS2 and X-box and then they insult us with this horrible game¡¡ fighters that havent fouth in ufc for years, pete williams, dan severn, etc.. u can beat tito ortiz (the champ) with one hand tied to the oposite leg, its so easy.. then an 80% of the figthers are locked same moves than in the dreamcast version, almost the same figthers alomost the same graphics, the create figther its awfull, u dont have a realistic carrer mode... folks dont spend your time on this game, if u want a great mma game get pride fc
| Good Game | | A gamer says (18/May/2003): | Solid game. You may think that there isn't much to do in this game, but there is a lot after you explore. After you unlock all the characters on Arcade mode, there is still career mode to master in different ways. For example, when creating a character you choose 3 strengths, like "devastating puncher, or excellent defense," but after mastering the game try to choose the strengths that aren't very good... you can tell by looking at them.
At first, this game is quite annoying, for all you know how to do is punch and kick, the bouts take about 8 seconds against a friend. However, if you learn the moves, and play solid defense, it is entertaining for hours against a friend, and you will be occupied for so long trying to beat all the different modes. Overall I rate this game 9/10. The only downfall is the loading which gets annoying if you just want a quick match or two.
