Very good.

A gamer from Waynesville,NC says (18/Oct/2003):
I really enjoyed this game very much. The character selection (4 instead of the usual 3) was quite nice. The addition of the cleric was a wonderful decision. The camera was fairly good. being able to zoom in was a great improvement over Baldurs Gate.
One thing I missed was an overall map. The map only had one size as opposed to Baldurs Gate's two. I also did not really like the fact that each weapon could only be used by a specific character. The bonus to stats every four levels and the elixirs were also a nice improvement. The raise dead amulets were a great time saver. Overall this game was an improvement over Baldurs Gate.

Fun but done before.32101

M.S. from PA, USA says (19/Sep/2003):
This game is a rehash of Baldur's Gate: Dark alliance, albiet fun. For those who like pure escapist hack in slash, this is a good buy. First, it expands on the BG:DA and Gauntlet type action with even better graphics. Plus, in this one you can have your pick of four characters instead of just 3! The camera angle is zoomable, play is fast, the camera rotates fast as well. You automatically pick up stuff as well. Targetting with ranged weapons is slightly easier too. Menus I think are slighty worse than BG:DA. Selecting throw weapons on the fly is difficult, I recommend doing it through the main menu so you can pause the game. For D&D fans, the spells are treated like power-ups which is somewhat lame. Finally, in a day and age when xbox is trying to lead the market in live titles, this game does not support link or live play. Overall, fun game.
