Play Wolfenstein Instead, This ones a waste of your dough! | | SickAndy from Gastonia, NC says (17/Nov/2003): | Before playing this game, I had heard loose talk at my Local Gamestop that this game was crap. Oh Boy, were they right!
Don't get me wrong, I ignored the comments I heard from the geeky gamers (I'm a gamer too, but these guys looked like Dungeon masters if you know what I mean) and decided to give this game a fair, non-biased chance. After all it does support XBOX LIVE, and the thought of another Online FPS for the big black box had me excited. But online Multiplayer (which has quite a bit of lag) does not make up for the sub-par graphics, crap sound, a soundtrack that consits of random sound efects that sound like were recorded in the boiler room of your local highschool, and almost non-existent
enemy AI. The game has a cool approach, a FPS with shockingly
realistic battle wounds that appear after you waste a enemy, but no amount of novelty gore could help this game. It honestly feels like you blew $50 on one of those 9.99 budget psone titles. Online Multiplayer isn't bad and some of the weapons are cool but the cons heavily outweigh the pros. But hey, you don't have to believe me. Go buy the game and see for yourself, but when you boot up the game and start to feel that sick feeling in the pit of your stomach, remember you only have yourself to blame. (And the 1000 monkeys at typewriters that churned out this bargain bin fodder game)
| Game needs a nononline multiplayer! | | Brad from Manteno, IL (USA) says (25/Jun/2003): | The game is good but the controls need to be more changeable. Also if the game had a multiplayer offline the game would be so much better! Other then those two mistakes the game runs smooth and the action is great. The gore in the game puts the realisum to the max. The weapons also make the game more enjoyable to play. The graphics are very good the people look and act real. The settings are cool to because it is in not so hread of places.
