Awsome Graphics and A Sweet Storyline |

This is one of my favourite games on pc that i have. It has every detail you can imagine from the bartenders asking you if u want "some of the old Tom Thumb" to the weather changing almost every day.I got it for about $30 but i reckon it's worth about 50.I can't wai to try out morrowind. Rock on Bethseda!
P.S if you wanna survive a storm lear the storm helsman ability!

My ears pricked up when I caught wind of a "tall ship" game called Sea Dogs, unfortunately no-one distributed Bethseda stuff here in NZ and I couldn't get a copy, Then they announce Sea Dogs 2 which looked stunning (later branded by Disney as Pirates of ..). I finally got a copy of this game and although a steep learning curve, nothing quite compares to capturing a frigate with a lowly schooner!! Truly awesome visuals and real addictablility - but you gotta SAVE!! Or restart!

true true the bugs are wreally $#< remove me > at !ed up.
Once you get the hang of them you know how to avoid them.
The first couple of times, I had to begin from nothing again.
hint:its really frustrating that you have a gameclosing bug after you build up youre car. skills.
You can modify almost everything in this file:caracters.init(english)
Then you can begin again but this time with all skills.
Hell of alot sweeter then restarting from nothing again.

The game is very close to Morrowind, its just what i wanted a true RPG. Ok the game is preaty glitshy at times but hey so does the mitty Morrowind and every body loves that. Also i must admitt that this game looks the bees knees as the graphics are very good, the batle scense are very good, ok without the cheats you will have to keep starting again every time you die witch is every 3 or 4 minuets, but un the end this is a game any one should buy, as i should know as i have been playing games all my life.

I loved the game until the "BIG" glitch occurred. I had many saves and was pretty far into the game. Then my guy turned completely ghost white. I thought that was so cool and thought I just had to save. It saved alright it made all my saves "bad saves" and crashed the system. Now I'm at square one staring a new game.. =o( That truly stinks!

Pirates of the caribbean is one of the best games i ever played but i think they needed to put more time and effort into it...in other words theres to many glitches the graphics are really good its a good game everyone should buy it, the game is pretty hard at first then gets too easy when u get use to the game

I bought this game in the hope of something different I like RPG's and I love action Bethseda have combined the pair like gel. Yes the game can be annoying at times like when you get a battleship for the first time. You get $#< remove me > at !y and a squadron of Frigates decide to pop it for you. Then you realise you forgot to save lol. The game has a basic land combat mode yes but the Ship to Ship action is awesome. I applaud Bethseda for making a new genre the RPACTIONG. Please follow this up Bethseda with a pirate game not link to the film

This is the worst game ever. The game play is terrible, and the above commentor is correct - you DO have to save every 2 minutes or you end up starting over. How annoying. It is a very difficult game and the directions are utter garbage - too bad EB wont take games back cause this game stinks! I was hoping for a game like Seirra's "Pirates!". I will give them this - the graphics are pretty good, however the game does have a lot of bugs....

i bought this game and thought it would be just as good as morrowind but after i beat it i realized that it was far too easy.not to mention the glitches are crippling at times.I dont know how many times i had to start from the beginning because i didnt save the game every two minutes.I think besthesda has alot to work out with there programmers to fix this ongoing problem. dont get me wrong this game is definately fun to play but after awhile you get sick and tired of starting over and the ending is the worst ending i have ever seen on an xbox game and i have beat almost 75%of xboxs list.

This game was exactly what I expected it to be. After playing and loving Morrowind I knew Bethesda was going to continue with the awesome gameplay. One of the few complaints I have with the game is the initial learning curve. While the instructions explain things to you very well they seem to be a little vague on some things. Once you get into the game you really get into the game. The graphics are incredible. The real time naval combat is incredible and probably my favorite part. Anybody looking for a modern counterpart to Pirates Gold from the old Sega Genesis will be more than satisfied. The best thing about this game is that it's not a movie port. The only thing the movie and it really share are the names. Thank God. Definately worth the money. A+++++++++

I actually got hooked on games like this type after playing, and getting addicted to "Morrowind". I loved the game so much that I started looking into other games that Bethesda had out. All I could come up with is "Pirates of the Carribean". I too thought that it would be just another game outlining a movie, like the "Lord of the Rings",but I was wrong. The graphics are the best I've seen. The reality that you get from it just captivates you for hours. The weather is always changing which is cool too.

When I found out that "Pirates of the Caribbean" was coming out on X-Box, I thought it would be just another movie/game go along. Wrong!..This game is packed with awsome graphics,risky adventures,and a spicy caribbean music score! It takes time to learn what to buy and how much of it you can take, (your ship can only carry so much weight).After getting the hang of real time naval battling,the sweating palms start to dry up a little giving a fun, hard to put down gaming experience! Need to increase your levels? stay in the dungeons for awhile and battle chilling skeleton pirates with spooky vocals! Whenever you leave the dungeon then go back in, the skeletons are back giving you an easy "experience" booster! Be sure to carry plenty of potions when you go walking anywhere in the game,Those swords sure pack a punch! Saving often gives you a better gaming experience also, unless you like doing over all your hard earned work! The only part of the game That I'm still having a lot of trouble with, is mastering how not to sink in a storm! All in all, "Pirates of the Caribbean",should definitely be on your summer list of games for 2003!Aarrrh Matey!
