Max is back in the sequal to the award wining origonal. The story folows on the story from the previous game, in this you see the intire detriation of him, he falls in love with the person hes sent to bring down also he still continues to strugle finding away to put his evil past behind him. Rockstar have really cleaned up the game, for a start the facial fetures have been improved so now you see a real face instead of a demented screwd up face with would give any girl nightmares. As to be said the graphics havnt been improved to much and in some places there not pleasent to look at. Also there is one or two minor flaws but its hardly noticable. Well the action is untouched the game brings you all the tense shooting sences with all that fantastic Bullet Time. As for the story, well just say if some one where to make this into a movie then even Lord Of The Rings would find it dificut to win those Oscars. All in all this game is a fantastic buy even though it doesnt break any new playing abilites its still woth the money, enjoy.

Any shoot em up thriller should have this game in there collection, because that is exacatly all you, with a choice of thirteen weapons I might add. The grapics are the same as the first, however they improved the bullet time sequnces. I think the storyboard being written like a comic book is pure genis. I hope they make a third for this game.

This game is one of the best because I bought it by a coincidence and /i thought i wasnt going to lake it because my friend said that it was short and that the story mode was boring ,but the truth is that this game is kind of short.I bought it for X mas , and I started playing it in the 25 and by the 27 I was i'll ready than with it ,but my friend was wrong about 1 thing the story mode it was so much fun the weapons ,the graphics,the bullet time everything and i think if you wany a bad a** game you should get Max Paine 2 and I think you will have fun but alot.And I think it should at least be one of the best games in this year and if not one of the best...THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know how Rockstar Games did it this time. But they were able to make Max Payne 2 better than the first. The story mode, bullet time, choice of weapons makes this game a definite buy. I would recommend this game to anyone who is a fan of Max Payne. This would be a RPG game of the year and possibly a overall game of the year for 2003. This is worth the $54.00 so get off your a** and go buy this game right now!!!!! You WILL NOT put the controller down if you play it!!!!! PERFECT 10 ALL THE WAY AROUND!!!!!!!

This game is incredible. I got this the day it came out, and I couldn't put it down. The bullet time is better, guns are better, graphics, story, everything. It is amazing how the creators can come up with something like this. Easily the best action/ adventure title out this holiday season, and maybe the best this year.

I didn't get to get this game but i loved the action it shown on the telly about Max who kick-punch action since the 1st prequel Max Payne and thisfall,i hope this was more better than any game.............for reallllllllllllllllllllll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And the action was good "a man with nothing..to..lose."
