Man down!, Man Down!33064

Stew from Carlisle, England says (7/Oct/2003):
Being a total fan of the first game I was so looking forward to this one. I was sure it was gonna be excellent sequel. The graphics are superb (FMV, in game, even the menus!) and the sound is also top notch. The levels are more varied but not as large as the original which is disapointing. The width and varied routes seem to have been replaced by a more linear style which takes a bit of the fun out of the game. Another dispointing factor is that there are fewer enemies in the sequel (both infantry and vehicles). I agree with the improvement in the enemies AI, they position themselves well, firing from all angles and are more accurate than the original.
The multiplayer mode is what I bought the original for and is still excellent for this game too. I never bothered playing either game in one player, so if you buy this game, I think its a must that you have a more than one pad (and at least 1 mate whos good at it).
Overall I think that this is still an excellent game but prefer the original for its less linear approach and its greater need for good tactics and game plan.

Great game, great improvement on the origional32312

Andrew from Sydney, Australia says (23/Sep/2003):
its a great game, extra weaponry, more vehicular action and more inteligent oponents - much more intelligent. i haven't even played half the game and i love it.
The AI is a vast improvement and makes even the smallest street battle much more challenging. the AI moves in better patterns and takes cover more effectivley. they are also more difficalt to see because they blend in better to the surrounds.
The Vehicles also have more ammo, this gives us the option to use them more. The Roll function is very cool, very effective in sneaking up and going around corners. but you must be careful. sometimes you caqn roll off cliffs.
The stratergy you use can also determine success, much more with the better AI.
anyways, overall this is a great game, i reccomend it to anyone who liked the first one, or anyone who enjoys a goof squad based shooter
