I think this is the best one. I am a big fan of fantasy things like this and I love it. I especially love the fact that you get to pick more characters and your on big battlefields with like litarally millions of orcs and goblins, and stuff. You are like in the middle fighting like hordes of them as they come attack you. You get to level up as you progress and learn devastating new combos. I really like the part when you got to fight this boss who is like king of the undead, he sounds really great when he summons and attacks , cuz it sounds so real. I have to say this game is a must rent first, cuz I beat the game in 2 days renting it and then bought it. Yeh, just rent the game first and beat it then.(Oh and Golem is cool in the game too)

Many of you may remember playing two-player beat-em-up games like Double Dragon and Final Fight, and if you liked games like that in the old days then ROTK is a definite must-buy. The one player campaign is fun, but two player co-op mode is where this game really shows it's strength. It is a bit difficult, but it is also very rewarding if you're a fan of the movies. The graphics are superb and the character likenesses are spot-on. The gameplay is fairly simple at first, but when you start to level up and purchase new combos and abilities, things get much more interesting. This game is close as it comes to the old-school fun of two-player Final Fight type games. If you're not sure, just rent it, but for fans of the films, there is a lot here to keep you playing for quite some time. The game isn't incredibly deep, but it's a blast to play! Especially with a friend.

Off the charts!!! This game was so coool. The interaction was phenominal, and the characters were so well thought. Now where I am from this game is supposd to be crap, but screw that right Jahil!!! Oh and digifag, ur review is like all those digimon, Gay!! The secret characters took me by surprise, and the long levels were sick. So, dont listen to Mike "the digimon", and buy it, all u lotr fans will love it.

Well i can really say that im am probably the biggest lord of the rings fan!!! ANd compared to the last tow XBOX game of Lord od the Rings this is also the hardest to finish. the chalenging part about this game is the enemys. The orcs are insane the action is gripping and the sounds are really wild. For you who are thinking about gettting this game or not welll...GET IT!!!! you wont regret it trust ME!

So I rented Return of the King. That game is very fun, I love the way they used the real actors voice overs, some of the hidden interviews were pretty cool too. Only thing is the game is kinda easy. I rented it on wednesday night and had it beat on thursday. When you beat it you unlock extra characters to play the fights with and stuff though so it has some replay value. I give it an 8

The best game yet.
Everything about it is awesome...the several huge battle levels like the Pellenor Fields and The Black Gate. And that you can play with Gandalf!....he's awesome. But everyone from the fellowship is there too and are just as fun. The levels are so detailed and long with full of kool stuff you can do.

this game destroys the first 2 in many ways. first of all the graphics and gameplay are much better and more thought out. you can interact with the environment, including picking up and throwing spears, and launching catapults. the combos and fight tactics pretty much all changed, and for the most part look better. also, possibly the best feature, is the fact that aside from the usual main 3 characters, gandalf, frodo, and sam have been added to the playable characters, including 3 bonus characters, including osama bin laden. (just kidding).another great feature is the multiplayer mode, which is just as difficult as one player and can be just as fun. the game is very good overall and is definitely worth buying, and if my damn xbox worked i would buy it.

As soon as i turned this game on I was expecting alot. To my suprise it went far beyond what I expected.The graphics are pushed to the limits. The true THx sound is some of the best i've ever heard in a game. The game play is great, with lots of powerups available for each of the nine characters.I would recommend this as a must have for any lotr fans.also theres alot of replay value, being that you can play diffrent characters.The only small little problem i had was there is way too many people u have to swing ur sword at but just watch the movies.
