Fun! ( if you like short games) | | mishelle from Valencia, CA USA says (6/Nov/2003): | Hunter: The Reckoning - Redeemer has made some great improvements from the last version released on X-box. In my humble girl opinion, the graphics, gameplay, and clipping have greatly improved to my liking. The combo moves are realistic and you have more control over your hunter. The added different edges are fabulous and add a lot to the game. Also, the leveling strategy is a great way for you to use your strengths and encourages you to use conviction whereas the last edition, well, you didn't know what to do with them half the time. Because you can only hold special weapons at a time makes it less than perfect score because they have some kick ass weapons in the game. The girls are sexier, Kalie who we all hated in the first installment is sleek and one of the better characters with a two-handed phat sword makes her deadly while her edges give her this cool holy-warrior-mage status.
The only down fall is that I beat the game within hours. SAD!!! I was hopeful, and I was let down. Repeat gameplay is a must and turn up the difficulty level. You don't need any cheats to beat this game, nor do you need any remarkable skill - just look at me, a stupid girl who doesn't know much.
Hope this helped you!
| Good but short | | A1CKeats from shaw afb, south carolina, usa says (3/Nov/2003): | Redeemer was one of the shortest rpg's I've ever played, on normal difficulty it took me 5 hours to beat. A good five hours, dispite the camera angle being more difficult to deal with than defeating the main boss, which i beat with over 90 lives remaining... The export/import feature is great, and I'm sure I can spend plenty more hours finding all the hidden characters
